Stella,I have been watching right from audition.Interesting program.I think the winner will be Kingdom,second Akunna and third position Francis.

DeleteBeen following it, but I missed it yesterday. Comfort is a no no for me. Her accent gets in the way of her range. I guess its just me because people are voting for her back to back. My money is on kingdom all the way.

DeleteAlexis,your comment is everything.You really do listen when she sings.Her accent really gets in the way, even though her voice is sweet,she doesn't project well enough and doesn't have stage presence as such.She has really grown though.Faith has one unique voice and his performance yesterday was my best.Akunna is a born star,she will go places.

ReplyDeleteFinally Stella!! Thought I was the only one watching it here. The Nigerian Idol channel suddenly stopped working. I only get to watch on African Magic every Sunday at 7:00pm. It's really sad that I've missed the two last episodes, all thanks to the almighty NEPA. It's also really sad that I can't watch a repeat. BTW, Faith Jason is my fav. Well done Jewel...!

I just prefer print media, once I start watching t.v, I doze off but my sisters can be awake all through the night watching season movies while I can be awake reading all through the night. You won't believe that I have not finished watching my wedding video of almost a decade ago. My mom is an avid reader too, I believe I took after her cos she sleeps off in front of the screen.

ReplyDeleteKingdom makes the top spot for me, his last performance got him a standing ovation, you’ll be scared he might flop but mehn he rises and still keep flowing with his super stage moves.
2nd spot for Francis, his vocals, his confidence, his composure, he looks into your soul and make you see the beauty of his song and performance.
3rd spot for Akunna, you can’t be scared of the high tone cause she somehow keeps it at a safe level and flow
And my last is Faith... Nigga is good with his guitar
I'm watching. I used to like Comfort, she has really grown from when she first auditioned to this point but her performance yesterday was just there, it was very boring to watch. The others were fire yesterday in one or both performances. Akunna killed it in both of her performances and she was my best act last night.

Followed by Faith,such an amazing voice,then Francis,followed by Akunna.
As for comfort,I m speechless. I blame the judges for putting her and Beyonce in the first 11 in the first place. Idowu,and some other guys deserved those spots.

Just started watching their performance clips on YouTube last week. My favourite is Kingdom. I want him to win. Stella, please do a post for The Voice also. Some of the contestants there are fire!
