Nigerian Athlete Blessing Okagbare Has Been “Provisionally” Suspended from the Olympic games for doping ..








The Athletics Integrity Unit made this known in a press statement, saying that the 32-year-old Nigerian athlete tested positive for a banned substance – human growth hormone.
.
The body said Okagbare tested positive for the prohibited substance in an out-of-competition test on July 19 – four days before the Olympics opened.

  2. This is sad. She was qualified to play in the semi finals and I was happy for her.
    Why do dope when you know it’s against the rules? Even with her experience she still messed up.

    1. Sometimes even ordinary codeine or painkiller can appear as dope when these people are tested. Its not about taking any enhancing medication.
