Reality TV Star Vee Replies Brand That Called Her Out And Explains What Happened + Says Her Lawyers Will Take Up The Issue...

Big Brother Naija star Vee was called out on Tuesday by a Brand (name withheld cos them no pay for the PR) that dragged her for not delivering and asking for a refund....
She has responded and involved her Lawyers....

In a series of tweets she explained...

''I am no longer associated with the ***** Brand, regard every image of me shared by them as false advertising and only do business with them at your prerogative.

I now deal with reputable brands an
d corporate organisations and it is important that I set the records straight, in the face of people who have nothing to lose and do not mind dragging others down with them.

The CEO of Z**** and Z*** clothing line, Happiness Adebayo reached out to me for a collaboration in the promotion of the Company’s designs and I forwarded my Management’s details to her. Contrary to her false claim that I reached out to her for the deal.

We agreed Fees and I was told to wait for weeks until her shipment had arrived. Then finally, a shoot day was agreed. I got to the Shoot and professionally conducted myself. However, the Company’s CEO insisted that I wear the Hair that she sells through another company entirely.

In order not to be considered difficult, I agreed and we concluded the Shoot. At a second shoot day I insisted that I wear my hair and I believe this was the beginning of the issues. A video was shared from the shoot and I informed the company of the need to work on the footage

And this was where the CEO started throwing totally undeserved tantrums, essentially claiming that she always has personal relationships with her Brand Ambassadors and as she has not been able to have that with me, she considers me difficult to work with.

She thereafter demanded a refund. It was a 6 months deal and an initial part payment of 2.5m was paid. 2million Naira was sent but my management removed 500k due to the mileage her page had received from the announcement campaign, giveaway promotion and time spent working with her.

However, it became clear to me that the CEO’s quest was to ensure that one way or the other, she drags my brand into hers by any means necessary. Conversations around termination had not even ended before she started sending bits of the engagement to blogs!

This is the last I will say on this, my lawyers have sent an email and will take it up from here''.

The call out...

    2. Na wa. We know that vee has a bad character and is a bitterleaf, but this lady was being tricky at a point.

Why force vee to wear your wig so that she can do double work for you: selling your clothes and promoting your hair??? If you want hair deal and clothe deal, pay separately. Thief!!!

That's how employers do in this country. You pay someone to work as front desk officer. Allow her to sit at the front desk, welcome guests and answer calls. Why will you be sending her to buy you food, sweep the office, clean toilet, open the gate, shave your armpit, wash your clothes, IDIOT!!!

  8. Just to sit down in the comfort of your home and post pix on Instagram and get paid is what is difficult for her, that means Nigeria is not hard for some people if she can return 2m.this lady must be a proud and difficult person to work or partner with in real life.

    1. But she's not being paid to advertise the hair.

    2. @ miss Aboki, it doesn't mean anything as far as the brand wouldn't/didn't tag or mention the hair brand on her ambassador's deal or ask her to tag the hair brand. The brand name for the hair remains anonymous(unknown).

She can sue the brand if they use her photo/s and tag/mention the hair brand. I mean trying to use a stone to kill many birds. Maybe just maybe that was what they were trying to do.

They could have agreed on not tagging/mentioning any hair brand from both side on that deal.

Discuss the terms and conditions of any deal, read through it before sighing it. Mehr nichts .....

  11. A contract is a contract and should be followed to the letter. You want to wear your hair on the second day of shooting just because? When you now deal with reputable brands and corporate organizations… so? this brand never had any problem with their reputation? BBN should do better with their housemates, everything shouldn’t be about sex and nudity, they should teach the housemates more on grooming and standard business practices so that when they leave the house, they know how to fit in the real world out there, not only the corporate world but also the entertainment world and others . Vee you fall my hand big time

    1. You dont get it. The hair is from another brand owned the same person. Why will she wear the hair when she's not being paid to represent the hair brand.

      Delete
    2. So you expected her to do free advert for the hair who does that. She refused to be cheated this mean she is a bitter person like majority had written here.

      Delete
  12. Vee is right on this one.

You pay her to advertise your clothing brand and expect her to wear your hair, she accepted the first time but insisted on using her own hair the second time and they begin to throw tantrums. if you want her to advertise your hair then pay for it!

They also lied about her approaching them for the deal when it was the other way round. Vee came with reciepts. They wanted to capitalise on people's hatred for Vee but this one choke!

  16. Nigerians and sentimentality. Vee is right. The CEO tried to play smart by trying to force her to include get other brand which was never part of the deal. Vee has done nothing wrong.

Funny how Nigerians tag a person as difficult because the person refuses to go beyond what was agreed.

  17. It doesn't seem like a lot of people commenting actually read the post or have any business acumen. If all vee said is true then she is right to not want to wear their hair oand right for withholding 500k! In fact since she wasn't the one that breached the contract

    1. 12:26 Its not abut reading the post or business acumen.
Even if they read, do they have the capacity to comprehend/understand?
Anything more than 2 syllables is heavy mental strain for so many of them.
See that one shining gorilla teeth up there and talking about 'fighting for indomie yesterday' because the word 'evolve' is simply missing from her half page dictionary.

No biko, I am not Vee. Think of something at least little bit smarter.

    2. Some fans just live in BBN forever in thier head and forget reasoning. I wonder if they would not do worse if they were in her shoes. Some may not even continue the shoot the next day. Ẹlẹda Vee tí gbé ga ẹ fọ tẹ́lẹ̀.

  20. ...If you pay someone to market a particular product, don't try to be 'smart' and include another without their full consent. If you employ somebody for a particular job role, don't try to be 'smart' and add more than was initially agreed. We are so used to settling for less in the labour market, that we do not see anything wrong with this attitude anymore. This is business, no sentiments. If the story up there is what transpired, then the Vee is right as far as I am concerned.

  22. It's unfair to conclude on a matter, based simply on how you feel about the accused. Some of us are blaming Vee without analysing the details of the matter at hand. When Nina was involved in a similar issue weeks back, how many of us jumped into conclusions like some of us are doing now? If tables were turned, we wouldn't want to be judged thus.
