Chibok Girl Reunites With Family After She And Alleged Husband Surrendered To Nigerian Military.

Borno State Governor, Umara Zulum, on Saturday in Maiduguri, received Ruth Ngladar Pogu, one of the over 200 schoolgirls abducted seven years ago at a Government Secondary School in Chibok.

Ruth, alongside someone she was said to have married during her captivity, surrendered themselves to the Nigerian military on July 28, 2021, at a location in Bama.

Under Zulum’s supervision, security and government officials kept the development secret and used the last 10 days to contact her parents and the association of parents of the missing schoolgirls in order to ascertain her identity.

Zulum’s spokesman, Malam Isa Gusau, said the governor received the Chibok girl at the Government House in the presence of the overwhelmed parents who reunited with her.

So, she'll continue life with the husband or go back to her parents or go it alone now that she's sort of regained her freedom? This life sha

This is what happens to your citizens when you cannot police your state.
Education that you weren't giving this girl has been truncated for 7 years; a time
when she is supposed to have graduated from university, gotten a good job, gotten married to the Love of her life
and had kids. Instead, her innocence/virginity stolen, she was forcibly married by her abductor, raped for 7 years and her faith stripped from her. What a shame! You people need more basket to use to build ASO LOCK 🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺

  12. The food insecurity they created is biting them in their hideout, more of them will still surrender. Useless lots, they said they are Boko haram but all what they use to fight the war was made through technology which will not be possible without education. Deplorable people

  15. I feel indifferent about this news. Knowing how the Nigerian government handles things, I hope they rehabilitate her cos she's entirely a new person after she was gone for 7 years and back with a whole family.
If she's not given the proper care she deserves then we should be ready for the results in the coming years.

I'm happy she's back and I wish her and her family well💔💔💔

    1. I completely get you. The fact that Nigeria will not try this mad rapist for his war crimes tells us all we need to know. If anyone of th we ladies murders the products of rape they were forced to have now, some people will be quoting different verses.

Continue, and those who didn't know that some child soldiers are recruited against there will continue to compare Nnamdi Kanu with them. I just hope they will not Buhari for there folly in future, like Biafra war have only being about Yoruba and Hausa genociding another tribe. Least I forgot I am still nwa new Ala Owerri
