Make people who others may think do not have what you have comfortable by treating them right and they become your good friends and act like family. I introduce my once a month cleaning lady as my friend. She is of another race, loves that I introduce her as my friend, goes the extra mile to clean the fridge and microwave and steam the epoxy garage floors even bringing her spouse to help on her own with just the regular tip. Now I give her clothes from my closet so she is like my younger sister. Treat everyone like VIPs and they will become the dependable friends we all need. If I’m having any get together in summer she organizes my yard and calls up those to make it work. I feel like she is family now. I’m sure Funke doesn’t put down her looks or anything some have said in the comments. The purpose of everybody is to be nice. There are people with Glandular health issues that make them fat. Genes play a role and I’m not taking away personal responsibility as that extra fat makes one prone to many diseases. It’s just not nice or polite to say it. I remember trying to tell psychotic patients what the issue is and explaining it in chemical imbalance terms and making one “feel not so good” and all the nice terms so you don’t make anyone feel worse. Our culture is verbally abusive as Ibadan will say “ I was just describing”! Be nice and put yourself in the other person’s shoe. If we all can do this, the world will be a better place. Search YouTube for President Obama’s voting “girlfriend”. He voted in the booth next to this lady and was chatting with her like they were mates telling her not to let her boyfriend come after him.
