    1. Nothing guarantees nothing. If is not going to work, it doesn't matter how much you hide it from daylight. Just do you and be happy that you gave it your best energy at every point in time so that even if it doesn't work, you will be comforted for enjoying the heck out of it while it last.

    2. Nothing guarantees nothing truly but the chances of survival reduces once it hits social media.A lot of people have no joy in Nigeria and will spread lies about anything or anyone to feed their ego, depression and sadness.Sometimes all it takes is one lie and it will never be the same again.

    1. No i dont agree..

you can announce it and not do too much online or throw it on our faces, then people won't meddle.

      Yes I agree:

For those who live and thrive on SM,throwing their so called happy relationship on our faces, the world will feast on your r/shp and it will now turn to situationship.

  3. Everyone to his or her way of life and belief.

So, the above assertion can't be used to ascertain any reliable conclusion.

To some,it is but to me...it's a No No

  4. I believe social media only destroys a marriage that would have eventually be destroyed in the future. It actually helps you save urself from wasting time with the wrong person. That is my personal opinion.

    1. Thank you ...social media has helped a lot of them from future heartbreak eg tonto and omar

    2. I agree. Social media destroys relationships that are not healthy. It cannot destroy a good relationship between two loving people who are determined to do right by one another.

    3. That omah lay's own is really heartbreaking

    4. I don’t agree with you guys.social media has destroyed a lot of very healthy relationships with rumors that are lies. You have no idea the kind of things people say out there, things that are entirely lies, things that make spouses question each other.don’t ever underestimate the destructive power social media,it might not happen immediately but just wait…as long as it is out there,7 out of 10 times it’s the beginning of the end.

  5. I agree with u,social media spirit can be destructive somehow,if u want ur relationship to last, pretend to the world that u are single..

  6. It’s not true for everyone though. What really matters is the foundation of the relationship. If your foundation is shaky and dirty, bringing it to social media will automatically open a can of worm that will crumble the structure, if otherwise, flaunting your relationship will only help solidify it. Cos you and your partner now has the obligation to stay faithful to each other.

    1. Lmao..putting relationship on social media doesn’t guarantee spouses being faithful to each other. In this life where money answereth most things?the person nacking your husband or wife might even be the one that likes their posts the most.pls Abeg say another thing.

    2. @Anon 17.42, it doesn't guarantee being faithful, but the joke is on who is unfaithful, everyone else know he/she is the one irresponsible, that's what I mean by obligation to stay faithful

  7. Heart break has no blueprint..

Announcing or keeping private doesnt mean your partner cant wake up one day and decide to move on with someone else irrespective of how good or BAD you are..

Everyone will always think they are the best and doing everything right until life happens which is always unpredictable..

    @MARTINS

  8. Totally false. Social media doesn't make them cheat or behave badly. Social media just makes everyone aware of ur life, even people that dont post also chop breakfast quietly.

  9. Not true .

  10. I am of the believe that any game wey go cut go cut.social media or not..

  11. Like someone said above, it depends on the foundation. If a partner is a crook and a liar and a cheat, you fit no find out till u display them on social media.

  12. This is only true when you have something to hide. That's why the foundation of a relationship is important.
    #Being honest about your dealings.
#Opening up as regards your past
#Being sure you both are on the same page..

Anything other than this.. you're only postponing the inevitable

  13. I disagree

  14. Do u guys think that Susu & Banky’s marriage would have materialized if they didn’t hide d courtship from SM for two whole years, except d knowledge of very close friends? SM can never boost any relationship, only if d couples don’t care about d world & it’s vicious tenants, eg of such couples are Bamteddy & Khadoni. If Tonto had hidden her relationship with that guy, it would have ended quietly without us knowing , bcoz they would definitely have discovered their incompatibility & go their separate ways. D hurt & animosity will fizzle out within a space of time. Also, look at Agbani, Stephanie L & a few healthy marriages that SM doesn’t know their itineraries. There are people who are naturally allergic to seeing others happy , even when they don’t know u one on one , seeing ur pics or progress irritates them, so will show up with all sort of missiles , just to destroy whatever u have for each other. As a celebrity, I will never put my relationship out on SM, never.

    1. 11:58, your summation is incoherent. If the foundation is healthy and true from the on set in respective of one's past, I don't think what you wrote down should be a factor.
