NEW COLUMN ALERT

NAZIRITE'S INK

My husband and I are young couple with a daughter.. Considering that my husband is into ministry, i am obligated to follow him to his job location no matter where he his transferred. That year, he was transferred.

Protocol demands that a new apartment would have been ready when we get there. On getting to the town he was transferred, we were taken to the apartment they had ready, upon arrival, we knew immediately that the house is cursed and we are going to experience tough times. So many things weren't right, starting from were the landlady's shop is the entrance to our flat and the fact that we didn't have access to the water pump or even the compound's well.

It wasn't long we moved in that we began to taste bitter experiences, The landlady and landlord victimized us so much we had to park out after a year.

It all started the day I asked the landlady why we didn't have water running in our apartment despite the fact that there was light to pump and she had water in hers..

The victimization got so bad my husband and I had to call on God for help. The couple would wake up in the middle of the night and curse us, they would make snide comments and say that, if God was so good to us, we would have our own house, they would mock and say we would never have a house. My husband and I would greet them, they would ignore, my little 3 year old would greet and the landlady would curse..

Don't get me wrong, I had in me to be nasty too if I wanted, I can be tough, but i was handicapped by our positions in the environment as God's servant, it wouldn't speak well if we were caught fighting, cursing or even keep grudges, where then is the fruit of the spirit if we fail? More so, we were strangers in the land. My husband would say, "As God's children, people can fight you, but you cannot fight".. This went on for about 3 months, at this point, the rent was about to expire.

On a faithful Saturday, my husband received a call from his superior, he was asked to come with me, his wife. Immediately after that call, my husband began to panick, we suspected something has happened, but we didn't know what it is.. I told him to be calm, that if we have been faithful on this job like we have, It is God's duty to secure the job.

So we set out, on getting to the office headquarters, turns out the landlady went to report us, she concocted all manner of lies against us.. We couldn't help but marveled when we were told.. By the time we told our own side of the story, my husband's boss was shocked,
He immediately summoned the Accountant and asked that money be released to us to move out of the apartment with immediate effect. We left the headquarters joyfully that day.

Apparently, she went to report hoping that my husband would be fired, but the Lord proved himself.. Miraculously, the following Monday, we moved out of the apartment.

Before we moved, there were some happenings that shocked me. A particular period, I was fasting, the landlady's would mock me in her dialect whenever am passing that I was thin and looking hungry, she didn't know I was fasting during that period, she would make jest and mock that my family was broke, her husband would insult my husband and call him unprintable names, on another occasion, because she sells provision, and we stopped buying from her when the insult became unbearable, she would boast to everyone that cares to listen that whatever we buy from her can never buy the tire of her car, Hmmmm.. What a ridicule to God's anointed family! Yes! The ministry pays very little but we are not beggars, we are like the birds of the sky, we have no big source of income but heaven feeds us and responds to our cry.

During the time we were living there, one day during one of there insults spree, my husband was so pained he fastened his face to the ceiling and said "Father, this people are insulting you not me, they thrashed you not my family, fight for yourself, prove yourself beyond reasonable double that you called me" . He would encourage me to never quarrel but salute them and move on.

Two months after we moved out, she and her husband had a major fight it was so bad she had to park out, we heard the husband literally chased her out with cutlass with her wearing only pant in the dead of the night.. What a mighty Judge we serve!

Someone who threatened that she would throw another out has been expelled from hers, someone that bragged that the cup of beans we buy from her cannot buy her tire, cannot even drive the car again because it became an abandoned property after she was pursued.

It didn't come as a shock, because God promised to deal with them, they disrespected His crown.. I left out some details of some of the horrible victimization, intimidation and bullying that we went through, because that's not the testimony, the testimony is in our victory, the victory that God won.

Two months after her husband sent her out, that day I was coming from my daughter school, I suddenly saw her in front of the her house, probably she and her husband has settled their differences, I don't know. The instant she saw me, she began shouting my name and greeting from a distance, Lol, this is the woman that while were still living in her apartment, I would greet her, she would never answer, my husband would greet, she wouldn't reply or reply shabbily. Today, she's looking for every possible means to be friendly with my family. I just laughed and greeted her too.

Many months after, till tomorrow, her shop is still locked. I had a dream were some kids were throwing items out of it.

God said, "I'll fight for you and you will hold your peace"..
Truly, vengeance belongs to God. Rom 12:19..

Moral of the story: Allow God fight your battle.

WOW!!!...... Thank you for this beautiful piece!

BV HAS A SICK MUM

Hi Stella. Good afternoon.

You're doing a great job. I really need advice. My Mom is a very strong hardworking woman who made sure to take care of her family. She was diagnosed of diabetics 7 years ago. It got so bad that she had to stop her very lucrative business. 2 years ago, she started suffering from ulcer and HBP too.

Stella it has really been difficult especially as my Dad lost his job no thanks to bad economy.

Recently she fell sick again and we took her to the hospital only to find out that she has kidney problems. She's has been in a private hospital because government hospitals are on strike. Her health has gone from bad to worse. Her left eye is now blind. The doctors said it's because of the diabetics. We've spent a whole lot of money. She was discharged on Friday because we couldn't keep up with the payment.

Stella please how else can I help my mother who has done so much for me. When I call her on phone I end up crying with her. Both me and my younger brothers have spent every penny on her yet there's no much improvement. What else can I do for this woman who has done so much for me and my brothers?

#Why are you not with her? Spend as much time as you can with her physically and not crying on the phone... Go to your mum please!...Dunno what else to say!

It will not end the way the devil planned it. I almost lost my Iyr7 month son last month but God showed up. Everyone was scared but God showed up. I stopped crying and started praying. His healing was speedy and unbelievable. This is a boy who other people who had children on admission would look at in pity and nod their heads saying things like "na wa o" hmmm. Start crying out to God. Join NSPPD every morning please.

  21. Good afternoon Stella, Good afternoon my blog family! Poster that your mother is sick please go close to her there is nothing you can do but pray and spend precious moments with her. Your situation was just like mine. I took care of my mother sold everything we had, spent all the money we had at the end she died after so many years of kidney failure. Nigeria is not a place where medical treatment is top notch we are living at the mercy of doctors and our so called government! I took care of my mother I washed her clothes, cook and feed her makes sure she takes her drugs takes her for dialysis and other appointments. I was practically sleeping on the floor of Garki hospital for years till she died in my arms but guess what? I got married in February 2015 she attended my wedding though she was weak. After my wedding in the morning we went to the hospital for dialysis and after that we went to wedding reception in the evening. My mother died June 2016 she was buried July and I relocated to Sweden October 2016. My mother is free from all the pains that plagued her. So my dear make the best out of your situation. Pray and spend time with her. To see a mother once healthy fade away is not easy but God knows best.

Sure, when God fights your battle, it's %100. Nothing is left out. It increases your faith, renews your confidence. But it takes time in the eyes of man.

It's not as if humans (those that believe in God) can't wait on God to fight for them but it looks like forever especially seeing the aggressor or offender or bully walking free and putting on air. Some that can't endure go diabolical for instant effect. That could boomerang too.

    3. So sorry you are passing through this Anon. I'm pro-marriage but when it comes to a situation where your life is in danger (stds and stis) then separation or divorce is the best option.
Some men are just wicked. You cheat on your wife and do so without using protection thereby jeopardizing her life. If you want to condemn yourself to hell through adultery, you are free to do so but do not bring diseases and infections home to an innocent woman.
Growing up, I know of two different families that the spouse infected the other with HIV. One of the family, the couple are dead, leaving their only son who dropped out of school and became a tout. The second family, the couple are religiously taking their drugs and still alive. I always feel pity for the woman each time I see her.
Please stop all sexual activities with your husband and seek separation if you feel that's what is best for you. May God heal you and transform your husband into a godly man. Amen.

  38. For the poster with the sick mum. I am so very sorry to read of your plight. Stella gave you stellar advice. Spend as much time as you can with her. Show her love in action and let your presence bring her joy that at least through her struggles at least there is joy from her children.

Have you tried reaching out to the diabetes society or charities that assist those with diabetic/kidney issues? Please do not feel any shame in seeking out help if it is available.

Open a Gofundme or similar to raise funds. Do not leave any stone unturned to get her the help she needs. Diabetes is a terrible disease and should never be taken lightly. Seek, knock and ask and it shall be given. Also reach out to her religious group/church/mosque, they normally have money put aside to help members going through health problems.

I wish your family all the best and hope that a divine healing come upon your mother. Above all things please ensure she stick to her diet. I have had relatives who died because they refused to or lacked the discipline to stick to their diet.

I had a similar experience with yours early this year,my Landlord was acting like God,but God came through for me and humbled her, psalms 46 was my song all along,I can relate, but God is too faithful! the circumstances notwithstanding,as long as faith is in play,He will prove his mightiness.
Bv whose mum is sick! The Lord will make her bed in sickness,I suspect an arrow was fired at her from her shop, the Lord will perfect her healing,it is well

    3. Onitsha is a commercial city so you should get a direct transport from there to Calabar. The states are onitsha-enugu-ebonyi-calabar. It will be a fairly long journey.
