Study this photo very well and read further....

Who does not know that if you have kids, you cannot leave them alone or relax for a second until they attain a particular age?

Imagine the whole house going quiet, you are about to sleep off and then your eyes shine wide and you remember you have kids..... Why are they quiet? LOL

Who is currently going through moments like this? I have been there!

Ever run into a scene like this or worse than this?

Lets gist!

  3. My daughter is at this stage now (18 months), once I don't hear her voice for 1 minute tops, I quickly look towards her direction to avoid stories that touch.
Her latest obsession is fiddling with the taps her hands can reach in the house.

  4. This is also in a form of a testimony saying, Thank you Lord

My nephew is 4 years, yesterday we were all I'm the palour, when I heard a big bang sound. Immediately I looked around, I didn't see my nephew, don't know when he climbed upstairs, my niece jump up, ran up and screamed for me to come up

You see God? He is very real. In his room, there is a wardrobe, and it is massively big and heavy. I noticed one day I was in that room, and he climbed the wardrobe to pick something untop of it, which he didn't reach, I warned him never to try that again. Which he promised never to

I don't know how it happened, but what I saw was that the wardrobe fell down and we saw my nephew sitted on the floor beside it

When we asked him what happened. He couldn't really say. But he said, I climbed it to take my pen, and it fell and I saw my self here

I don't know what happened in that room, but the site I saw, I knew God was there, where he climbed, where he sat and how the wardrobe fell, all I can explain is that God threw him out. If that stuff had fall on him, he wouldn't have survived it. But Gof wipe that tears out of our face. Please help us thank him. God is great

    4. Praise God. This is a testimony.

Children?!!!! Big responsibility! That’s how a child who was home with his father and uncle crawled out of sight and into a low rubber basin filled with water. That’s how the child drowned while 2 adults were in the house! Horrible.

    6. This is a great testimony. Similar thing happened to my friend's little bro. When he was two, he fell off from their two storey building. People who witnessed it kept shouting. He just laid on the floor until they carried him up. To everyone's surprise, he didn't even have a scratch!!! I later heard that it was a warning to their mum, who has refused to answer God's call.

    8. Supernova, abeg God will not kill or threaten to kill a child just to make you answer His call. Who do you think He is? A psychotic ex-boyfriend?

He will call you alright. If you refuse, He moves with all of the benefits that come with His calling on to someone else.

Anything you may or may not see for devil hand afterwards na another story.

    10. Well, Anon 17:57, there is that bible passage about Abraham, Isaac and a ram. Not saying what Supernova heard was true, but, seems one can’t completely decipher the mind of God.

    12. If your own God murders children for the sins of their parents, too bad. You need to find someone better to worship.

      Delete
    13. So God would attempt to murder your child in order to get you to worship him?
All of you + the religion you worship, are psychotic.

  6. I'm not being judgmental here, but I am such a careful person that I would not leave a one year old or two year old with a baby unsupervised.
I love kids a lot and I get paranoid when it comes to kids.. I do not have kids, but I know how mischievous kids can be..
You can't leave a baby with another baby. Some kids would even stick their fingers into the baby's eyes.
I have taken care of lots of babies, and I know what they can do.
It took about 5 minutes max for the little girl to do that to her baby sibling(kids take their time when being mischievous)
So where was the mother within the time frame?
Like I said earlier, this is not me judging, for those that would come for me..
If you do, just know that I don't care😁
That picture is humorous by the way.

    1. You are judging. With these kids, all it needs is 5secs. They have destroyed the world. And most times, u are speechless and don't know what to say or do

      Delete
    2. You're right. I don't even find that picture up there funny. I know we can never be too careful where these kids are (they must always find their way) but we can still try.

Stuff like milk, powder, body lotion, perfumes, oil, salt, pepper, detergent, soap and many other things like this used in the house should not be within their reach. Don't trust them.

      Delete
    3. Don't worry, when the time comes, you'll know that being extremely careful is not even enough.

    4. My kids could climb πŸͺœ windows sills and reach the farthest things. Even when you're trying your best to keep the home 🏠 safe for kids. They'll still surprise πŸ™€ 😯 you.
Adults can't even match their energy. Monitoring them can be draining and tiring.

      Delete
    5. For all I know an adult is there. All u need to do is look away for 10 secs. Anyway make we Dey look una. So if u are pressed u will carry the baby and the toddler to the toilet?? U are judging jare. I used to judge too until I had kids.

      Delete
    6. @Twinsquared and lovetoloveyou. You do not get my point. I already said how mischievous kids can be no doubt. I am saying that you don't leave a two year old alone in the room with a baby. Except that picture was staged, that must have taken at least 3 mins to do that. What if the powder got into the baby's nose and eyes? Get the picture now?

      Delete
    7. I agree with you. I can leave my 2 year old in a room alone for a few mins when I return I can't explain the sight I meet. I could never leave her with another baby

  10. Lol, I neva even born my own but I dey shout pass some mamas. My 3 little cousins, just 3 oooo. Their school is close to our house so every day after school, they'll be dropped at the house, waiting for their mum to come back from work and take them. Their ears are blocked, if you like shout, flog from now till tomorrow they will still go back to doing the same thing. Sometimes I'll tell them that they'll stop coming and they will say "it's a lie, if you won't come and carry us, we'll pack our things, trekk to the house. If there's no one at home, we'll sit outside and wait".
If they come around and see me cooking anything, they'll say " aunty don't put egg inside the indomie, I don't like it that way" haaaa!! am I cooking indomie for you????

  12. I was on the phone, on a group call with my siblings laughing and gisting. My 1year old daughter was with me on the floor, helping her arrange her toys. the gists from my siblings got more interesting and I stood up to laugh the more. Just within 6 secs,my daughter had crawled to our 20-staircase,looking down and was about to move, aaaaaarhh I've never been this fast in my life. I turned to Usain bolt, threw away my phone, my eyes wide open, I dived and caught her tiny legs. My whole body was shaking, maybe convulsing I can't explain. Immediately I started researching for baby safety gate.

    1. This was how I got safety gates too. My BIL was with my child and I was in the room with her dad. BIL was leaving and dropped her upstairs didn't tell me or the dad. The minute he left her she followed him thats how she tumbled down the stairs

  13. Before I had kids, I used to get angry or think some mothers were careless with their kids. Oh boy, I now have two kids under 5yrs old and I can't close my eyes for one minute if they are not sleeping. I shout from morning to evening, im always praying they should sleep when I'm tired. I'm blessed to have them but taking care of them is exhausting

  14. With children one has to be always alert, we went to church for communion service, after taking the wine my son took the cup of the person beside his dad and started drinking the remnant, when I saw him I didn't know what to say or do, in this era of different communicable diseases. Children are wondeful

I was in the other room while he used a stool to reach the top shelf of his cabinet, yesterday was baby oil. I keep things out of his reach but he has learnt to use a stool to climb. I ll keep trying to keep him away from danger. It's not easy but God dey.

  16. I remember when my niece was younger, the moment you don't hear her voice or see her, just knows she's up to something mischievous either she's climbing the dinning chair to carry something from the basket on top of the fridge, she's pressing her mom's phone or she's scattering her clothes..just one thing or the other πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  17. That was how my nephew and niece went into their mother's room climbed her cabinet, took out her aboniki balm and started massaging their entire body because they've seen their mom using it to massage their dad's leg... That was how we heard loud crying and shouting... They've applied it on their face, to think we left them while they were sleeping in their room... Just under a short time they had done wonders.

Or is it the one my sister's daughter was applying her make-up on her brother and she confidently came to show her mom a job well done, the boy looked scary!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£. Those children are machine they never get exhausted. Let me not even talk about their uniform in our pot of soup.

  18. My younger brother our first boy after 5 daughters fell off from upstairs and did not have a scratch on his body. I was the one carrying him just dropped him to do something for a second for my grand mother did not know how he crawled so fast to the rails before the staircase and dropped from there. Up till the time my grandmother went to join her ancestors she will say its the angels that took my brother downstairs.

  19. Kids need adult supervision, 24/7, period. We need to do much better from the stories up here. And yes, I'm a mom. My child is a teenager but I still sleep with one eye open oh πŸ˜…. I see that most do not childproof their homes, the things you need might not be so readily available in naija, but if you can get it, please, please do. There are different childproof locks for cabinets that you can use for every cabinet in your house, put away every chemicals and potentially hazardous stuff under locks which are easy to access by adults but harder for the little ones. Until they figure out how to unlock them, like my little strong man eventually lifted his safety gate off the wall sef 🀣, There are also childproof knobs for yor gas cooker controls and your doors, at least these will drastically slow down or prevent the kids access to using your cooker, or opening the door and walking out to danger. Childproof your windows too! Children have different stages of development, they are naturally inquisitive, discoverers and explorers, that's why they will climb. Fix barriers at danger zones like top of stairs and entrance to the kitchen with a safety gate. Stop shouting and beating your kids. Instead talk to them, let them know the dangers, provide the necessary barriers against most of these dangers because no matter what we do, it is their job to be inquisitive and explore and it is our job to keep them safe. And, if you need to go to another room, never, ever leave them unattended! Take them with you. They should be in your sights at ALL TIMES, and yes, even when you go pee pee, carry that child to the bathroom, sit him or her on a small chair and do your biz, or at least right at the door where you can see or quickly grab am. If you go to the mall with your 2 year old, will you leave them outside the bathroom to be kidnapped or you take them into the bathroom with you? Same principle here. Safety 1st. If the child still uses a high chair, you can strap him/her into their high chair, give them a toy, have them in your line of sight, while you do your stuff like cooking. The fact is even after childproofing, we cannot just take off, relax, leave our kids unattended, begin bathing and leave child in the bath and dash to the bedroom, he can drown in inches of water, for example. We cannot leave our medications and supplements, lotions, creams, oils etc in open cabinets or in the open, all these are poison potentially to the kids and some may be fatal. Kitchen utensils like knives nko? These cabinets need to be childproof. Sadly, I have cared for too many children in the ER who we were not able to save who came in due to home accidents, be it the child being strangled by the ropes of the vertical blinds (I immediately changed all my home blinds to ropeless) or being squashed between the parents bed and wall as the parents slept, or ingesting pills that were dropped on the floor at home etc. Of all the many critical patients we care for, whenever one of these kids comes through, every one of the medical team is excruciating devastated and worse still, their parents are. Lastly, with kids, forget about sleep. If your plan is to be jollying sleeping, then, please, leave kids alone, o. My 2 cents.
