INEC Extends Anambra State Governorship Elections To Sunday

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended voting in the Anambra governorship poll to Sunday, to allow voters who were not able to vote due to malfunctioning of the Bimodal Accreditation System (BVAS) to vote.

Dr Nkwachukwu Orji, the state INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) disclosed this at a news briefing held in the INEC headquarters, Awka on Saturday.

  1. I'm very excited with the election so far. So far no record of violence or killing recorded. I also thank IPOB leadership for heeding to the plea of the traditional and religious leaders in calling off the proposed one week sit at home initially planned. This goes to show they have the people at heart. I love the way Doyin Okupe rightly put it; "IPOB has shown they are not a terrorist group by listening and calling off the one week sit at home order."

Thanks to the good people of Anambra who went all out to vote and i believe the people's choice will have the day.

    1. You love what Doyin Okupe said about your killer group right? You remember the Imo priest your killer group meted violence on? Your remember the hundreds of people they harassed, violated, beat and murdered for not agreeing to their reckless opinion of stay at home? What’s there to thank a useless group for? Have which people at heart? The people they violate? And show dictatorial tendencies to? You are no better than a violence enabler. A ruthless and unapologetic supporter of killers. They know they are already losing credibility with their violent approaches and irrational decision.

Now you are happy with the election after you were spreading false information about writing of election results without proof.

    2. Oh pls, close your mouth.
The heavily mounted presence of the military in the state, forced them to behave, they're not in accordance with the government or ongoing election, dont downplay their foolishness.

  2. Their rigging plan couldn't work as they got overpowered by the power of technology.Phones calls and live video calls exposed their evil plans ,if it were past years you wouldn't know if the stories of no elections were true.
As at 2:30pm the whole Ihiala town couldn't spot one inec staff in any of their polling units, same in oyi local government and idemmili north. Where did they report with the voting materials they signed out of Inec office that morning?
Good the elections was extended,no night voting and counting of votes with candles and native lanterns to snatch boxes nor falsify figures.

So far APGA is leading massively. The battle ahead is tough, RUGA and Fulani Herdsmen, Power Failure, Neglect of Indigenous Manpower, IPOB agitators, church dichotomy. These are hardcore problems Chief Valentine Ozigbo is quite young at 50 and unexposed to resolve, he is a good candidate but not for the current Anambra state,in future well he has a good chance.

Congrats in advance,Prof Charles Soludo. A man fit for the cap with all the thorns thereof.

    1. They weren't properly informed about umu Anambra. Their animalistic plans got rubbished by the resolute Anambra young kings and Queens and now they have to extend it. Kudos to my people, all you legends do is make me proud.

Long live APGA! Soludo is the man we're all solidly behind.
