Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

 Hmmm...

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
URGENT ADVICE NEEDED

Yes Lord, what you cannot do does not exist.....

I was alleged to have stolen at my work place, I am a citizen of a European country, and at my work place last Friday, one oyinbo accused me of stealing and she said she saw me taking something and putting in my bag And she told the kitchen assistant.

Kitchen assistant without confirming the allegation went ahead to write on our group chat that someone stole, though my name was not mentioned said "when have we begin to steal supplies"?

On Sunday a colleague called to inform me that another colleague said she saw me taking the said supply in my bag.

To cut story short. What God cannot do does not exist and can never exist.

The said kitchen assistant said he was minding his biz cleaning when the colleague came to him to say she saw me putting supply in my bag. He said he counted it on Monday and nothing was missing.

We had a meeting with the manager and I made both apologies on our group chat and they wrote statements signed by everyone and copies I have. I have poof to sue!!!

She apologized and said her allegations were based on assumption and that she didn't mean to cause no harm. Now my name is cleared, God really loves me, if the kitchen assistant had said not said the truth I would have been fired, why? Because there would have been a missing supply complained by the kitchen assistant and a witness by my colleague assuming seeing me putting it in my bag.

But God is good, they planned to nail me. I thank God.

So blog readers.... -8yrs working in same place Should I ask for transfer? -should I stay and wait till power change because the Manager does not have work experience but core disguised racist leaves?

My people I be citizen but na for paper, to get another work hard, I need this job, gbese as in debts, I am yet to complete my student loans.

I believe God is Great I have a meeting with the occupational therapist in 2 days, I will gather advise from here, if you live or have lived abroad and want to share or advise me pls do. I work in a versatile work place, almost all nationals but because I am black forget it.

I forgot to say I am more qualified than most of them, I sit down to do paper work and oyinbo will be cleaning, they usually give me that mean look. The country I am in won the best happiest people in the world, I am like what? The same country that you will say hi to someone and they will give you that horrible look.

So bvs let it flow. Insults are welcome, i go still laugh but 100%for sure I am getting solution here, some of you make sense dieeeee, it could be 1 or 2 comments but I am good, God uses some of you, so folks be mindfully of what you write, it's ur thoughts and it's spiritual, evil reaps evil..

Pls wish me well, I am broken.. But I thank God I was cleared.. Make I escape or stay is the bone of contention now?

N. B I do legit 8-5hrs and crime free very good and established crime records free, never committed any domestic violence, I can fear, always conscious. If speedometer be 80 I am on 79,i don't like wahala. .

  1. Poster I think that environment is already toxic.
But what do I know now, let people who have more experience and how it works in the obodo-oyibo do justice to this your question.
Keep serving and praising this God, Jehovah overdo, he will surprise you soon.

    3. Either Finland or Denmark! My dear racism is everywhere ooo. Look for another job then when you get leave. Working in a toxic environment is not good for your health. I had to quit my job and I am presently looking for another job because a new manager came and suddenly started firing people that had black skin. I left with my dignity. Oyibo people are sometimes very difficult people to work with. They feel intimidated by a black man. I no dey send them. Look for a new job where you are valued and confident that they will be fair to you. It's a jungle out there. Survival of the fittest!

  4. Leave that place and find another job elsewhere, there is probability that accuser won't give up,she will come for you again with better plans that you won't be able to wriggle out of it,all the evidence against you would be overwhelming,be wise ooo, leave that place please

  7. Imagine, even with the citizen status they still discriminate and set you up. You need to start applying for jobs elsewhere poster but I hope it won't be from frying pan to fire as some of these oyibos are terrible. Take your case to God in prayers while searching for another.

  8. Thank God for giving you victory.

The kitchen assistant does not appear to be a very bad person otherwise he could have done you in.

If you want to be manager, and there is the best route for you, stay.

But you have to remove the victim mindset and also remove the victor (my God pass una) posture. Just deliberately act as if the accuser was genuinely mistaken and flow with you colleagues as if nothing happened but guard your side well well.

Sum, focus on your work and don't spoil for a fight over the matter.

    2. You better follow this advise. With the evidence you have and screenshots from the group chats, you don hammer. If you don’t, she will bully you again. Shake that company not verbally but with a lawsuit.

  12. You said a number of things about the place but do you have peace there? From your analysis, they are racist in nature, and probably the next place will not be different. I suggest you stay and cover your debts, then you can look for work in a serene environment without toxicity. Keep up with your good character cause every seed has a reward.

Workplace is always like that but keep asking God the grace to overcome them.

  14. If you're in Europe, then the country probably has discrimination laws in place... i think you should make a formal grievance (written complaint to HR) against the person who accused you, if you have other incidences of racial discrimination then raise that as well... it may be sensible to also get lawyer to assist you...if they now treat you bad or try to dismiss you after your written complaint, you are highly likely to be compensated for victimisation. Either way seems like you can be compensated for the false accusations. if you were based in the UK, I would be able to give you more specific advice, but sounds like you're in switzerland/finland/denmark. All the best

  16. I dont know which country you live in and your line of work, but you can try and apply to work in a European Institution(Commission, Parliament Council etc) or Agency. Its a mixed environment and racism is frowned at. I worked in French companies years and saw hell. Now, in an EU Institution and such peace. Try applying via EPSO.com. also if you are willing to move. You have EU citizenship, you shouldn't be suffering in your job.

  17. Racism is in every workplace unfortunately, it's just the degree that varies. I would advice you look out for opportunities in other companies cos these your colleagues may have another game plan.

I worked in an international company in the UK and my colleague was always asking me when I am going back (home), even with my british passport haha. That is why I chuckled when one bv was making noise some days ago about being a british citizen.

Anyway, I stuck to it for a while, saved consistently, paid off my mortgage, started a business and could conveniently tell them to F off as I no longer needed the job.

I wish you all the best.

    2. Some of the people you seek advice from are victims and perpetrators of tribalism in a country that is predominantly black so whatever advice you get from here should be taken with a ouch of salt. However, character is everything. I have lived and worked abroad and seen shear racism knocked on its head as a result of the persons character. My advice is that despite the hate and racism, always try to rise above it and apply proper perspective in your work place. Be courteous, respectful, yet guarded enough not prepared for a fight but for eventualities.
When I moved back to Nigeria to stretch the job I have been doing for some years now, even people of my tribe behaved like monsters but I chose deliberately to respond to them from a place of love and dedication to my work. After all, na work I go work for there not make friends. Today, I have friendships that are deeply formed that span numerous tribes that were once thought not to coexist.

Lead with love, guard with your tongue and don’t take anymore debt until you have paid at least 50% of what you currently owe. Selah

    2. Honestly, the only country I can relicate to in Europe is the UK.

All other countries are racist dens. My opinion.

I know racism is also strong in the UK but at least there is more diversity.
Imagine working in places full of white people and people treating you like dirt even when you are far more qualified.

And yes, this is someone who has lived (from 2 months to 3 years) in 5 countries.

    3. Ana 17:07 agreed but Finland is the worst trust and believe me. Phd holders are doing cleaning and kitchen assistant jobs just because they are black.

  19. Ask for a transfer, and while at it, start submitting applications for job elsewhere.
Some people there are out to ruin you and will keep coming up with various devices, beat them to it.
In all these, ask God for directions and keep praying he continues to frustrate the devices of the wicked upon your life.

  20. That incident might have been a mistake and not a setup. And I believe it wouldn't have excaleted had the kitchen assistant taken his due time to investigate before making it public.
I would not recommend you leave unless there had been other proceeding incidence. Rather take precautions while still there.

  24. See how you’re evening shouting and stressed from your write up. Save every evidence, as in every every. Report this incident to your HR so next time this lady or any of them won’t try nonsense again! Also get compensated for this situation. for your peace of mind, you can request for a transfer. Or better still find another job with a better paying job. 8 years in the same company is a long time self. Are you scared of change? I mean don’t you want to move up the ladder and get paid more? There are better job opportunities out there trust me. Start looking for another job with a very good pay before leaving this current one.

  29. My dear chronicle writer,
Sorry for your woes with the workplace set up drama & potential crime involvement troubles.

My advice to you is from the Igbo proverb: Chinedu m or Chinazo m is not for every day!!! (Translation meaning that "God help me / God save me" is not for every day..oh!!!
So be careful! U might seriously start considering finding another job!!! When ur life depends on other people's comment, approval or words alone, without much power to ur own words in defence, then u r walking on shaky grounds & it's only matter of time before they kill u off!!! (physical, spiritual, financial or in every way...to destroy ur life)
So don't let ur desperation to pay of existing debts, or money wahala make u be in a tormenting environment or deadly toxic work place for your own good.

    Good luck!🙏

  31. Please dont leave till you find another job. Prayerfully let God have His way. He might have a better plan for you. While you are still there be extremely careful. Most importantly forgive them for they know not what they do.

  34. I am going through the same thing being falsely accused. Its very painful. Your situation is different because your name was cleared. Maybe it is a sign for you to find another job. Remember your pay does not increase significantly if you stay in the same job. Working for a bad employer is a career set back. Their actions shows you are not valued and could be easily replaced. 8 years is no joke, I can tell you are very dependable and hard-working, sometimes when you stay with a company for too long they take you for granted because they know you have limited options. Remember the story of Joseph in the Bible when he was falsely accused and how God vindicate him. Don't try to control the outcome have faith and trust God.

  35. Get a lawyer who specializes in these issues, make a complaint to HR. Document that formal complaint. Start looking for another job, when you get one… start your lawsuit process. I was bullied at work too and it was an Akata. I let it go but I regret that I did. Please fight back, it gives a lot of satisfaction and that lunatic will have the blemish on her record. Trust she will run from the company soon after you make the complaint.

  36. Hmm whether you should move or not I can't just pointedly tell, but I think you best know the environment you stay in,if it's not too rigid to get another job.

But then am also thinking, are these the kind of people that you can bet won't frame you up next time?...if not,I think you should move before you are framed up for a bigger crime you might not have any escape route from 🤔
