    1. take them for deliverance ,you can't pray for them and decree Gods word over them?? Nigerian concept of Christianity is not far from their traditional beliefs.

    1. Just train them in a way that when they grow they will not depart from it. Both morally, spiritually ,academically and what ever.

    1. There are bad parents even encouraging their children to do bad things. Those that need the deliverance is, when in a family nobody is useful .

  6. After taking them to "deliverances" what next?
Why not first parents love the Lord, give their lives to Christ and
then bring up kids in the fear of the Lord. Buy a Bible for them instead of smart phones, tablets and video games.
Take them to Bible studies instead of to movies. When you bring them up in the fear of the Lord, they will not depart from it when they grow up.
Let them "crossover" from darkness to light not just into a new year with
old and new mischiefs and evil.
    Jesus beckons.

    1. I wonder o. The only difference between 31st Dec. and 1 Jan is the same sun and moon. If you do not bring up your child in the fear of God while fearing God yourself, you only have yourself to blame and not God.

  7. I will only agree with her to some extent but with an element of argument.

There is what we call individual differences which exit in both male and female, this is as a result of what I term NATURE VS NURTURE CONTROVERSY.

It is a study that tries to bring together heridity and environment but a problem was discovered in my study which is called boundaries.

There is a boundary between both term that each one can never cross.. A boy who was born by a great parent, trained properly and well disciplined(Nature) can later become so wayward and Also be me a criminal due to some environmental factors which can be immediate factors or Remote factors(nurture).

Compared to a boy who was born by a wayward parents, who spent all their life at Mushin Oju iron. Such boy can become as rich as dangote, he can also be so respectful, calm and reserved due to some environmental factors which was easy for him to control(Id, Ego and super ego).

There is what we call Psychological determinant of human behavior.

I would have loved to continue but I need to concentrate on how this old man is driving.

  9. As you're advising the parents to take care of the spiritual, you should not forget to channel the same energy to advising the government to take care of the physical. E.g when certain safety laws are enacted, govt should ensure it is enforced and obeyed to avoid case like the one that happened recently.

  15. It's risky having children from a good and bad homes in the same place like school. The bad ones can easily influence the good ones.
Some of these kids lack proper home training.
