  1. A Lesson In Forgiveness!!
    Luke 6:37.

    Excerpts!!

"In John 7-8, the Bible tells us of how the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman before Jesus. She was said to have been caught in the very act of adultery. The Spirit, through John, specifically tells us they were trying to trap Him into saying something incriminating so they could bring charges against him. John 8:6"

"However the Master’s response to them was, “…He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her” (John 8:7). When they heard it, they all went away, disgruntled, leaving Him alone with the woman. When the woman’s accusers left, Jesus neither lashed out on her nor condemned her. Rather, He said to her, “ go, and sin no more” (John 8:11),

"How inspiring and comforting! His actions were ever so gracious"

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I’m inspired by your loving acts of forgiveness as shown in the Scriptures. I let your essence within me flow out like a stream, as I relate with others in love. I maintain a loving heart all the time, and continually enjoy the pleasantness in other people, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  3. On Monday I went to see a friend who is a manager in a hotel, I actually went to see him at the hotel.

I sat at the reception having chivita juice and peppered snails when this young lady of about 25 walked in with a man of about 70, I wasn't surprised though cause that's not even news anymore. I was minding my business when I noticed the lady was winking at me while the receptionist was attending to them, I smiled and winked back.

They paid for a room and was directed to the room..some minutes later, the young lady came back to complain to the receptionist that the heater is not working, I knew she wanted something else cause she could have used the intercom in her room to make her complaints, so I walked up to her and I explained to her that the heater is not working cause it is the smaller generator that is powered, I assured her that in the next 1 hr, the bigger generator will come on and she can use her heater. I know all these cause I'm a regular in the hotel.

She thanked me and we exchanged contacts..not even up to 15minutes she pinged me on WhatsApp, I told her I came to see a friend and that I will leave soon, she persuaded me not to leave, that she would love to see me, said the old man will leave in about 1 hour and she will be all alone till the next day.

That was how I ended up spending the night with her....it was fun..

  7. BE FREE OF ENSLAVING HABITS.

'I must not become a slave to anything.' 1 Corinthians 6:12 NLT

Paul said, 'You say, "I am allowed to do anything" - but not everything is good for you. And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything' (1 Corinthians 6:12 NLT). If you're serious about spiritual growth, look for opportunities to say no to yourself in small areas. Then one day you will be able to say it when it really counts. Daniel started by saying no to eating the king's food, and later was able to say no to bowing to the king's idols.
Zero in on the undisciplined areas of your life; the ones you keep excusing, rationalising and delaying dealing with. Paul measured his actions by this yardstick: 'Is it beneficial? Does it have the potential to control me' (see 1 Corinthians 6:12)? You have a 'right' to eat a tub of ice cream every night. It's permissible - but it's not 'beneficial', especially if you want unblocked arteries, a trim waistline, the ability to run a marathon, or to just keep up with your kids and grandkids. You have a 'right' to spend your money as you please, but don't complain when you end up strangled by debt. You have a 'right' to look at whatever you want on TV or the internet, but exposure to wrong influences will inevitably weaken your character, rob you of self-respect, and enslave you.
Bottom line: your character is the sum total of the choices you make each day. And one more thought: when it comes to replacing bad habits with good ones, the only person who can make that happen is you!

The Camp of the Unknown gun men discovered recently in Imo is less than 2 kilometers from the House of the Governor Hope Uzodimma, I am shocked that as Chief Security officer of the state, he doesn't know it exist in his backyard. A Camp where 5 traditional rulers were killed, people should ask Hope"

You said it yourself, even Uche spoke replied or understood their language. Who are you clamouring for ? Rochas? I laugh in swahili ... You see this your ethnic partiality, e no get rival. Either you stand for the truth or you jejely fold your arms and shush up . Politics in Nigeria will continue to be a game as far as where poor you and i dey. Nothing concern them concern us ok ? 32. I'm sad right now. I traveled to my village yesterday and met my Dad's siblings. I wasn't expecting them to come back for Christmas but they did. All of them including my mum went for a function so I didn't meet anybody at home. They all came back in the evening and started complaining bitterly of how I shut them all off from my life, they said I don't involve them in my life or in anything I do, since my father died. They went on to say that I don't care about them neither do I bother to come visit them in their various states of residence.
Honestly, I didn't realize all these until they complained last night. Truth be told, I did my possible best to avoid them, but I didn't realize it was this bad and this obvious. What did they expect from me, they loved my father who was their brother and hated his wife, does that make sense?. It started from my grand mum, she never regarded my mum or appreciated the things she did for her when she was alive, she preferred her other sons' wives and it was made obvious. As a child, I witnessed the way my mum was treated poorly and disregarded by this same people. I saw the way she went out of her way just to impress them and to feel accepted, but they never gave her that opportunity. She makes sure she gets things for the household while coming back home for Christmas or any other function, she calls everyone of them from time to time, she comes back to the village frequently to visit my grandma, she took up my father's house from where he stopped and then, he was even still alive. I saw it all and although I was a child I grew with those memories and till date, those memories are stuck in my head.
They went on to say that it's only my elder brothers that call them sometimes to know how they're faring but not me, I wouldn't dare. I was hurt. I realized that what they all said was nothing but the bitter truth. My mum has aslo told me several times to allow them the slightest access into my life, but I find it them. Honestly I only wanted to stay on my lane, do my thing without their contribution or anything, is that too much to ask for?. They never liked us, they only loved and cared for their late brother, so I don't know why they cared this much. I've good plans and good wishes for my dad's compound and I promised myself to make him proud, I don't just want to involve this people in anything. And now, I've become the bad one before everybody.

    2. If they did not support your grand mother in maltreating your mother, you can be reaching out to them but not every time. Once in a while kind of. Easter. Christmas. Quarterly. It costs nothing to "I called to know how you are doing". "How is family?"

If you're not married, they might misbehave during time for traditional rites of your traditional marriage. If you are married and they partook with grandmother in treating your mother disrespectfully, do not remove leg from the accelerator pedal. Keep maintaining your lane.

You can't hate my mom and expect hugs from me.

      Best wishes.

  35. "You're the only one that can change your narrative, so work at it".

This speaks to me. Lately, I've been having feelings of unfulfillment because I feel I'm not where I ought to be career wise and as an individual.

I earnestly want to improve the quality of my life. I am also embracing the realization that I need to do this myself for myself.

My theme for 2022 is GROWTH. I'm going to be intentional and consistent at seeking out opportunities and implementing actions that'd translate to my growth. So help me Jesus.

Why i like this baby girl for life is that she very much aware of Nigerian Laws. And she's making judicious use of the provisions of Law.

Remember that, failure to fulfill a promise to marry is actionable in Nigeria.

  38. Good morning fam, pls I have an important question, and I need good advise on what to do.
I work and earn 20k naira per month with a lot of stress, that cash is barely enough to survive. Right now, a friend is offering to give me a small space in her shop, so that I can sell noodles, as there are a enough customers around that area.
My question is this;is cooking noodles profitable? Would I make good cash in a month.
My boss wants to increase my salary, and he's offering to pay me 30k naira, pls what should I do? Is there anyone here into noodles business. Is it advisable to leave my job and take this risk of cooking? Thanks for your replies.

    1. Dear Anonymous don't enter the river with both legs. Still keep your main job and the indomie business as a side hustle. Cooking indomie is profitable and does well mostly at night.

Entrepreneurship is good but don't add pressure on yourself to be one at all cost. All the best

go back and read it again. Only you can truly rewrite your story. I believe you can make it. I have seen people in my area doing it, but please be serious n be consistent as you kick off .. Good luck .

  43. Good morning E-fam. Hope your night was great?

Please I need to waybill my sewing machine from Aba to Lokoja and I don’t know how to go about it. I’m alone on this one ( my dad says I should focus on my nysc and leave sewing fir now. ). I don’t buy the idea because I know what idleness caused me back there ( I only go to my PPA once in a week.) Then the rest of the days, I do nothing until evening, when I’ll go for my extra moral lesson).

So I’m like, I really need bring my sewing machine so that I’ll be busy and also make some extra cash aside my allowee and lesson fee and to also and start building my customer base here.
They say Lokoja is dry, but who knows, I can get it wet and my plant my business seed and it’ll grow in a beautiful garden. Lol 😊

Back to my question; do I need to dismantle the machine ie the iron parts or just send it looking like a table? Please help me. I’m confused 😐

  49. I have discovered that love doesn't guarantee the success of a relationship.

Love cannot help you stick to one person all years round, and on the other hand, cheating isn't always a product of not loving your partner.

In fact, loving someone doesn't guarantee not falling in love with any other person.

Relationships work out mostly because of our head not our heart, it work out because of our emotional maturity, empathetic intelligence and self discipline because time will come when you'll see more beautiful, handsome, romantic, intelligent, sexy, rich, curvy and God fearing people than the one you're in a relationship with.

In those times, love will not help you, self control will help you, emotional intelligence will come to your rescue, commitment will keep you going. With those characteristics, no matter how you feel for someone else, the person you're committed to will rank first in your life.

You think happily married people don't see better people than the ones they married?

You think they don't feel funny sometimes?

You think they don't catch feelings?

    They do!

But understanding that commitment is greater than feelings is the great arsenal that do destroy that impulse.

You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them.

    It takes more than love.

We are too fond of loving when it's convenient, when it's sweet.

We are too fond of loving when love is there but that can only last for just the first 3-6 months of the relationship.

After then, you'll realise that the feelings have dropped, it's now your responsibility to make it work, not love's responsibility.
    Relationships cannot be readymade.

You have to build it and it's never always about love, it requires commitment, it requires intelligent.

On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever, it's determination and commitment.

Everyone falls in love, it takes little or no effort to do that. But staying in love?
    Building a relationship?

Only the strong and committed ones do that.

That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, Discipline yourself, bridle your emotions.

Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career, It's like pursuing a dream.

It's always tough, at some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together, you can scale through the trying time by being focus and committed.

The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together.

    Be emotionally strong!

    Be self disciplined.

Sticking to one person is not natural, you must develop yourself to do that.
It works great and perfect with people of like minds, people of the same believes, people that share the same school of thought.

  53. Good morning everyone.
I had a dream early this morning and it's thus; l walked into a gathering of cultists and heard a glimpse of their discussion, when they noticed, they shot me at the back saying l'll go and expose them. Fearing that l'll die, l called my younger brother and last born whom l love so much assuring him of my love. I was still walking around with the wound up to the point that my brother had to suck out blood from my back while my attackers were around. When l woke up, l had to flash back to about 20 years ago( still very young) I was shot by an unknown person at the same back, this time, l was scared of dieing, l was running and crying that l don't want to die.
I have committed the both dreams to God, l shall not DIE in Jesus name πŸ™
Please, BVs don't pass this comment without saying a word of prayer for me. God bless you all

  54. How much of the past do you reveal to a future partner? I did some things I am not proud of when I was younger. It was after I found Christ I discovered some foundational patterns in both sides of my family.I am glad God delivered me but there is still an inner voice that makes me feel guilty whenever I am praying. I am well educated, beautiful, on the reserved side and doing well for myself. Looking at me, you will never think I have ever had an abortion. I just keep wondering if I am deserving of any man based on my past

    1. Yes you are deserving of good things poster, once u have realized your sins and begged God for forgiveness with a sincere heart ur sins are forgiven, the bible says tho ur sins be as crimson they shall be white as snow.whom the son of man has made free is free indeed, don’t let the devil guilt trip you, those are mistakes made as a sinner and God has forgiven you and wiped them away. The lord will not reward you according to ur sins.whenever the devil tries to guilt trip you ,rebuke the devil..God will give u a good man cos everyone has made mistakes in the past.in ur quiet time u can read the book of psalm(David’s cry for mercy)use it to pray that ur mistakes do not stand in the way of ur prayers and heart desires.
The lord will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favour her, Yes, the set time, has come. Oh Lord, arise and show me mercy, for it is time for me to experience your favour in name of Jesus..cheers!!
