UK To Remove All Countries From Its COVID Redlist Today

The United Kingdom (UK) will remove all 11 countries from its Covid-19 travel red list from Wednesday December 15,2021 British Health Secretary, Sajid Javid told parliament

The countries on its Red list due to the COVID 19 Omicron variant are Nigeria , Angola, Botswana, Eswantini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Javid said the countries will be removed from 4am on Wednesday, adding that passengers from the countries will no longer have to isolate in a government-approved quarantine hotel for two weeks at the cost of £2,285.

“Now that there is community transmission of Omicron in the UK and Omicron has spread so widely across the world, the travel red list is now less effective in slowing the incursion of Omicron from abroad.

“Whilst we will maintain our temporary testing measures for international travel we will be removing all 11 countries from the travel red list effective from 4am tomorrow morning”, Javi said.

He added that the temporary testing measures for everyone arriving in the UK from overseas will remain for now.

He also asked for “urgent advice” whether people currently in hotel quarantine can be released.

  2. THE HAND OF GOD

'Who works all things according to the counsel of his will.' Ephesians 1:11 NKJV

God can make the wrong decisions of the people around you work in your favour. So instead of looking for someone to blame, try to see the hand of God at work in your situation.
    Joseph discovered three things:
    (1) When God wants you in a palace, nobody can keep you in a prison.
    (2) Your future isn't in the hands of others; it's in the hands of God.
    (3) Your God-given assignment in life doesn't call for the cooperation or approval of everyone, but it does require the cooperation of one person - you. Joseph's brothers made a wrong decision by resenting him. Potiphar's wife made a wrong decision by falsely accusing him. And the butler made a wrong decision by turning his back on him. But God did the right thing by him! He arranged every step Joseph took, all the way to the throne. After years apart, Joseph stood face-to-face with those who had treated him so badly, and said, 'You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good' (Genesis 50:20 NIV).
Try to understand this: the purposes of God will eventually overcome the plans of men. No one can prevent God from using you, blessing you and giving you success, except you. So keep your heart and your attitude right! Paul's words will encourage us: 'We are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan' (Ephesians 1:11-12 NLT). So, look for the hand of God in 'everything'.

    2. It was explained clearly that their findings show that the community transmission of the variant can't be reversed.

  6. I saw a video where only 2 people were allegedly the only passengers on a Virgin Atlantic flight.

In my opinion, they have everything to lose if they had continued with their baseless stance of putting Nigeria especially on their red list. We have the population and we are heavy spenders. Even Dubai sef don bow
