  1. For me feminism is women doing what works for them. Women should never feel pressured to give up anything for family and at the same time, women that have decided to stay home to raise their families should never be castigated. True empowerment is for women to make their own decisions and be supported in whatever they decide to do.

    1. So many men coerce women in their lives to give up their dreams. They do not support the women in their lives and end up stabbing them in the back. Please make sure that you don’t give up your dreams for anyone. Love your self enough to pursue your dreams because you will look back and regret ever giving up your dreams where your partner is a selfish bastard.

  8. Honestly, I would love to be a loved, spoilt and happy housewife to a sweet, rich older man. But life had its own design on me, I work in a man's job, own my small businesses and hustle for my money.
Not my desire but am ok with it. So, do you Mrs RMD. Good for you.

  9. When I had my first child, I and my husband reached agreement to quit my job so as to take good care of our child and others to come. But after 8months,my husband started using me as an example of lazy wife. How l cried. I one day I dusted my certificates for job hunting only to find out the next day that I am pregnant again. I stay, born my baby, swallow all the humiliation. Immediately my daughter was 3months, I went on family planning. Two years later, off to the street looking for a job without my husband knowledge cos he will kill my spirit if I told him. With prayer,God answered me and gave me my dream job. When I told my husband about the offer,he tried to discourage me but I have made up my mind. He called family meeting but he was surprised that all supported me cos they all saw the insults he melted on me. Now we are now one happy family with everyone with his or her money lol

  10. Claps for you dear. That is what I call Self Empowerment. There is no honour without responsibility. You have taken a responsibility, the honour and respect will flow naturally. Congrats again for your determination.

  11. What sort of intrusive questions were those? Everything is not about coercion.

Melinda Gates quiting her job left her husband astonished. She made the decision and just informed him. Many others like that exist.
RMD's didn't even give up working. She only moved to a different career.

The level of wokenesses among Nigerians is becoming annoying and equally irritating.
