Lagos Governor Sanwo Olu Versus CSP And His Men Who Refused To Vacate Magodo Estate..

An unnamed Chief Superintendent of Police on Tuesday openly defied the order of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to vacate the Magodo Phase 2 Estate area of the state.

The CSP told the governor that he and his armed colleagues were at the estate on the orders of the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba; as well as the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

  1. Should he have confronted the CAP?

Absolutely not necessary in my thinking.

  2. Should the governor have gone to the estate in the first place? Why degrade the esteem office!
I really do not see the point. Though the magodo issue is with the state givernment and not necessarily with the land owners.
This is a big lesson and eye opener to those of us who have bought into the various estates in Lagos.

    1. You people can never be pleased!!!
If he sat at his office and gave order, you will say that’s all he does. He cannot stand up to fight. ( Like you all said at the Lekki bridge)
Now he has left his office to defend his people yet he is disrespecting his office. Nawa!!

    1. Not just protecting his ogas, his associates are involved too.
Chief Rotimi Agunsoye representing Kosofe Local Govt as an Hon has 3 duplexes inside Magodo phase 2 there.
they're not backing down anytime soon.

  6. I trust Nyesom Wike, even CP dares not speak to Wike in such manner not to talk of CSP, that very minute he is leaving the state. What impetus and disrespect to a chief security of a state.

  10. Will you people stop it! Can't you see how they are running Nigeria's constitution to the ground using federal might!

You see why there is need for State Police and total devolution of power from the centre!

What right does the IGP and AGF have sending in NPF without consulting the governor as the Chief Security Officer of the State?!
What effrontery from the CSP! How could he not call his boss on the orders of the governor?!

Anyway, it serves Tinubu right for playing selfish politics and foisting Buhari on the country. See who he appointed as AGF! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

  11. Nigerians hen! During endSARS and the Lagos state govt denied any involvement/knowledgeof who ordered the Lekki shootings, you all said it is not possible that the governor wouldn't know about it. Here you are faced with the truth that the governor cannot control a CSP, yet you are still bashing the governor. What exactly is wrong with us in this country?
