WEDNESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS....

 I salute you all....

IN HOUSE MEMO

*************************************************************

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

I was a weirdo growing up, one of my earliest memories is from my nursery one, I remember leading friends to a deserted corner of the school and showing them a spot, I told them the proprietor buried a juju pot there and we proceeded to dig it out.

I kept digging juju pots all over the school on several occasions, we were never caught and my parents thought all my gist were just from an overactive imagination till I started to tell them things about our church members too. My dad would make sure all the invited deliverance ministers that came to the church conducted several deliverance sessions for me . They all told him nothing was wrong with me, so he let me be.

I just had this strong instinct then, I saw the world different and didn’t hesitate to tell people, this led to several beatings, in one of the school I attended, my friends and I were talking about the little mermaid cartoon and they said it was make believe, mumu me went on to explain how it was not necessarily make believe and how marine spirits exist and how one can access such portals through animal blood sacrifice.

We were just eight years old, the next day my friends parents were in school, shouting at the school owner, wanting to see the witch that told their innocent kids about animal sacrifices. The school owner made sure I was beaten till all my backside was covered in bruises and till I left primary school at ten, no one was allowed to play with me or involve me in things like inter House sport or school dramas.

She would ask teachers to call me out randomly and flog me. I hated my life and has a child I was depressed, I disliked her for so long but now as an adult I understand her. She shouldn’t have battered me, she knew my parents were clergymen and ran deliverance ministries .I was just saying things I heard and picked up from adult conversation and read in deliverance prayer books.

I couldn’t tell my parents about what was going on because I feared they would think I was possessed too. My mom and I weren’t so close at that time. After my tenth birthday an incident involving a neighbour who had been collecting my lunch money for a year, the said neighbour insisted I must start do her chores too. Something in me snapped and I went to my mom and reported myself and all I had been going through.

She was shocked and pained and she helped me put a balance, she taught me the importance of not just blurting out things I saw or heard from adults, she started to watch what I was reading.

Though she and my dad didn’t stop telling me things that would put me in trouble like “ don’t play with Sade, she is highly possessed” then when I see anyone with Sade I repeat the statement, it would go round the kids in the neighbourhood then Sade and her friends would give me small beating and collect my lunch money for months in exchange of their silence.

I suffered no be small, when it comes to my kids, I would like them to know they can tell me anything and they have a friend in me. I would also watch the things I tell them. As much as I want them to share the same religious beliefs, whatever I tell them must be age appropriate. Some knowledge or information are just too much for a child and they don’t have the emotional intelligence to handle it.

Imagine telling a six year old that her favourite aunt is a witch. I don’t want my kids growing up confused like I did.

Hehehehehehhehehehehehhe

Response to Chronicle of 17/01/22

Dear Blog Visitors,

For more than a century, Christianity rode roughshod on the various African Traditional Religions. Schools and Churches serve as programming centres, where as children, we are taught that the medium through which our forebears communed with Chukwu is diabolical. Under this constant barrage, we grew to despise and dissociate ourselves from anything that links us to ịgọ mmụọ.

But, here we are today!

Before I continue, I would like to point out that in this day and age, it amounts to the highest level of naivety, to automatically consider anyone who doesn't identify with your chosen religion, as evil. I mean, we are different races, different tribes, different tongues, why do you expect to have a one true religion?

Stop the prejudice.

Chukwu is Chukwu, no matter the names you prefer to use and how you choose to worship.

Dear Poster,

Your story elicited my deepest sympathies because I've been where you currently are, spiritually. Afraid of letting go of all that I was raised to believe, and even more afraid of delving into Ọdịnaani Igbo. I truly understand and so I'm being fair by saying you're not ready, yet. If you were in the presence of the Dịbia I suspect you (from your description) to have been and you bring your questions here, then you're truly not ready. Perhaps ịfe-uwa drove you there, and you had no time to be logical about things. Mana ụta amarọ gị.

I believe it would serve you well, if you do the ịchụ-aja and other rituals recommended to you. No real Dịbia anywhere in AnaIgbo would ask for human sacrifice. Bear in mind though, as becoming born again doesn't stop all of one's problems, same applies to following Ọdịnaani Igbo. Also, if you're looking for shortcuts to making money or to tie down anybody, I'd advise you to go back to church, because the consequences of doing so in Ọdịnaani are grave, and the judgement swift.

Let me stop here for now.

It is well.... Thank you for replying....

    3. I was in church yesterday, the pastor said something, he said our youths of today are reviving the destroyed deities and evil alters, that revival has left the church, indeed I am beginning to believe it, my late grandmother was into Odinaani, she did for over 5 decades, then one day she woke up and this is vanity and my children, there is no light in this, none of you should practice it, she gave her life to Christ before she died, she died at 112yrs old, if my own grandmother can accept Christ after tasting this other side, who am I to resurrect something I didn't see any light in..... John 1:1 has said it all, Joshua said, Choose you this day whom you will serve, as for me and my family, we will serve the one true God.... This is my one cent.... Tankiuuuu

The indestructible life of God is in me; therefore, sickness, disease, lack, and death can’t find a place in my life. The life and nature of God in me make me invincible and superhuman. I’m a product of God’s Word! I believe and therefore declare the Word in faith that all things are mine! I refuse to be sick or sickness-conscious because I’ve been brought into the realm of abundant life.

  4. My Love language is communication and gifts. This new guy gets it very well with the constant checking in and all but I'm still not feeling the Love cos I love gifts. That part isn't him I guess. Last date we had, I specifically asked for roses and chocolates cos I figured he doesn't know how to go about courting a lady... he came with a replica of a rose and bounty chocolate two long ones. I'm used to receiving thoughtful gifts in boxes, packaged and delivered with so much love. But, this uncle's romance never reach that type obviously.

You can do knee to chest exercises about 5-10times as tolerated daily. For now avoid activities that can increase the pain which you will notice in the course of your daily schedule. Sorry, it will pass. See your Orthopedic Dr or Physiotherapist.

Same discussion I was having with my friend the other day, she was quoting Aristotle, Plato, Socrates etc. I pointed out to her that these philosophers lived, some more than 300 BCE (Before Christ's Era). Why is it that when I quote the Bible, the very teachings of Christ, she shushes me up but she quoted people that lived in the Roman and Grecian empires long before Jesus was born? Can we reason like adults here?

  22. Good day Stella, alligator pepper is also used for cleansing. As a lady, if you have anything to do with a man that's not your husband, after s*x, you take a seed, use it on ur head round to your feet and say anything following this man will not follow me, any evil trait from his linage will not affect me, then you throw it away. You can also put alligator pepper in your bag, carry it everywhere, it wades off evil.

Let them blow powder in your face or touch you with jazz, it won't work. Throw them around your house and rooms under the chairs and bed, they Wade off evil, snakes , scorpions , etc

  26. @Mind of a woman going through motherhood, you are right about parents saying things their young kids cannot comprehend at their young age. We had a relative stay with us for a short while, and the heavy talks that comes out from her mouth will leave you shocked. At a point I became scared and started thinking something is wrong somewhere. Another relative came around one time and after a discussion with her said 'this girl is not ordinary' The truth is, her parents say lots of things in her presence. They are the type that like to talk about any and everything. I know because I hear them talk but they probably don't know that kids do not have the mind to comprehend certain things at certain times.

Pls if you assist a friend or relative to advertise on the advert post on SDK or anywhere else, kindly let the person know.

I called a vendor yesterday after seeing the advert post and she was lost. She doesn't know what is SDK blog, told me it is a wrong number I dialed cos she did not advertise on the said platform and doesn't even know what it is. Then she hung up on me.
I don't blame her, with the rate of ritual killings and kidnapping of vendors in their bid to make money, one has to be careful with business calls from strangers who claim to pick one's number online.

I haven't even met the said wife but my cousin usually posts his wife's business on whatsapp status and I chose to help spread publicity since I do not run a business.

    1. LIFE LESSONS FROM THE ATM MACHINE

Yesterday I was at the ATM to get some cash because I needed money. As I started to transact, the ATM showed me a message; ‘Please insert your card.’

      I did.

Then another message popped up, ‘Please enter your pin code.’

      I did.

And then another message came, ‘…select the amount.’

      I did that too.

After I had done all these, the ATM showed me a message in BOLD letters:
YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED, PLEASE WAIT!

Allow me to say, when you have done all the things you can – you have prayed, you have fasted, you have even asked others to pray with you and for you; but it seems as if nothing is happening in your life, wait patiently don’t give up. Don’t move because your request is being processed.

      WAIT!

What made me wait was because my card was already in the ATM; I had already entered my pin code. If I give up now and walk away, the next person would be the one to receive all that I had requested.

It’s not that your messages aren’t heard; it’s not that your prayers are irrelevant; it’s not that your fasting is meaningless, you are having to wait because YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED.

Wait and murmur not. Do not think you were born to suffer. Your prayers are being processed, so wait upon the Lord.

I Know it’s not easy, but I encourage you… WAIT!

As the Bible says in Isaiah 40vs31: But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

YOUR TRANSACTION IS BEING PROCESSED. PLEASE WAIT.
