  2. My disappointments. Idk how but every murky or unsavory situation I’ve ever found myself in ended up being for my own good and benefit, don’t know how to explain it. It made me better, Stronger and more resilient.

    1. How can your children be blessing in disguise? All of you like to rub your kids on our faces, like that's your only achievements. BlehπŸ˜πŸ™„

  6. The day my first ever boyfriend broke up with me. My heart broke in a billion pieces. I was petrified and so mumulized that I ostracized myself from the world for almost a whole day. He woke up the ashawo in me faster than I could remember his name. It was so heart breaking that I refused to admit the breakup into my head and I started dating someone else almost immediately. I was so lucky that I came out without belle. As in blessed. Dude gave 2 girls in our area belle. As in 2 girls!!!!! 2 girls living blocks away from each other. Apparently, I brought out the monster in him. Yimu jare! Dude was dog in disguise. πŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ€

  9. Blessing in disguise? I refused a job most people felt was the "Holy Grail",for example, imagine saying No! to maybe Goldman Sachs or J.P Morgan 🀣🀣that kinda stuff, and you get scolded by all(family and friends). Then months later, you hear they packed up but you are in your own little space happy and living with peace of mind with what you got.

    3. Process;
      1. Call upon Jesus to show you a child you would adopt; e.g. from registered motherless homes (e.g. run by nuns, Red cross)
      2. Get a lawyer to file for you at the child welfare department (You can actually go to child welfare yourself but knowing what Nigeria is and depending on where, you might pay more than you would have paid a lawyer)
      3. Paper work complete in your name as this child's (adoptive) parent
      4. Your baby is home
When she calls me (you) mother, your heart will be filled with great joy and peace.
Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child the way he should go and when she/he grows up, he will not depart from it"

  13. TTC when I was with my ex husband. I thank God everyday that I didn't get pregnant for the 3 years I was with my wicked and abusive ex even though I cried and prayed for a child everyday. When I found my true love, I got pregnant the first time we made love and we have 2 children now. Every dissapointment is indeed a blessing.

  16. The end to my first marriage! I never thought anyone would marry me after that marriage, I thought that is the best I could be, even when the guy was panel beating me day and night. But he ended the marriage by himself after 7 years because I refused to give birth as ogbanje (according to him)......lol. I was still begging the idiot even 1 year after throwing me out. After one year, I told God to take me to where my reward is waiting not where I will suffer again, exactly 2 weeks after that prayer, God sent me a God-ordained young man that has never been married before. We've been 12 years in marriage with 3 lovely boys now and we are doing excellently well!

  17. My daughters.
    Four daughters.
    I thank God I'm a Mom.
I remembered that I cried so much when scan revealed I was having yet another daughter, when I gave birth, I birthed two placentas, the doctor was confused, hmmmmm he had to put his hand inside me to clean the debris of the other baby.
I then remembered a dream I had, sometime back, I was told in that dream that I'm carrying twins, a boy and a girl but I won't be able to give birth to the boy but I will give birth to the girl.
The story is long Sha, because then, I wasn't even pregnant.
Anyway, today my daughter gives me so much joy and happiness, infact all of themπŸ’žπŸ˜˜. Strangers always tell me that my first daughter is a special child. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a mom, it's a priceless feeling.

  18. My HUSBAND'S DEATH.

I Suffered during the marriage carrying family responsibilities plus children needs. we struggled to feed. During his sickness and death life was hell. i was condemned, cursed and mocked.i was laughed at. i almost ran mad. But God held it down for me.

Today how far? i am in a much better place, so are my kids. A friend saw me acknowledging the tremendous growth in my life. she said 'you are waaaay better than when you were married'. if he was alive i doubt you have grown this much. i am happy for you... i smiled.
