Nigerian Man Reportedly Missing After Encounter With IPOB Militants That Left His Friend Dead

This is a sad story!

''Dear friends and fellow Rotarians,

It is no longer news that PP Steady Onome Idisi is still missing. What's certain is that he checked out of his hotel in Asaba on Sunday, the 20th of February, 2022 in the company of his friend.

On their way to Port Harcourt, they had an encounter with the IPOB militants at Ihiala, unfortunately his friend was shot dead during the encounter.

The death of his friend had since been confirmed by the Police command in Awka, Anambra State and his body deposited at the Nnamdi Azikiwe teaching hospital, Nnewi.

Lots of efforts has been chanelled to locate Rtn Steady Idisi, but to no avail. Yesterday, we had a lead that necessitated our visit to the morgue at Nnewi where the bodies of other victims are kept.

After close examinations, including checking for hand bracelet, we can safely conclude that he is not one of the victims at the morgue.

However, we are still uncertain of his whereabouts.

Should anyone have any leads, please do not hesitate to contact us, as we spontaneously act on every lead given the nature of the incident.

You will be updated as events unfold, but let's continue to pray and hope for the best.

Shalom.

Eyone Andy Uwejeyan
District Governor 2021-22.

    5. I used to support Igbos because I thought they were being oppressed in Nigeria but after seeing their rally for Trump, their support for Putin and the way they are massacring their own people in the east, I have decided to mind my business. God who sees the heart of people is the One who rewards them in the open.

  7. It's heartbreaking. South Easterners are messing their territory up by themselves and politicians in the South East kept quiet. This menace will consume any one supporting this evil and the politicians as well.
Are you sure the missing person is still alive self.
These guys are deadly. They have no regard for human life at all.

    1. Very aggressive set of people. They are even more wicked than the Boko boys. God punish IPOB and all their supporters for taking innocent lives

    2. They are not more wicked than Boko boys. 10:59. Boko is more wicked, they are not fighting for any cause. Boko will behead an innocent man and video it, then send the videos to social media. they will enter villages and burn both houses and humans/animals

    3. They aren't as wicked as boko boys but they are close .

    4. Anon 11.31, there is no difference btw Ipob and Boko, let us not deceive ourselves. What has this guy and his friend done? Why kill them? Are they politicians? Are they the reason Nnamdi is in prison? Are they close to the corridors of power? Are they the reason Biafra is yet to be actualized? What exactly is their offence?

Help me understand how you kidnap or shoot people who have done you no wrong? Senseless killings. Bunch of brutes and animals who should live with wild animals.

  25. Everyone that has ever supported these animals (don't care if you've changed your mind now), is extremely wicked and belongs to misery all the days of their lives.
So you supported them killing security personnel at will and is only withdrawing because they're killing others too. Chineke Nna nyeghachi unu ka unu si cheere ndi ozo. You will never know peace because there's no peace for the wicked.

  26. Teejay and others who supported these beasts, I hope you are loving the current situation. Una go chop breakfast belle full. Shey na Buhari and Aisha dey suffer now... Meanwhile, polithieftians like Abaribe who supported them are quiet while these animals wreck havoc on ordinary citizens who dare move around in or transit through the east. We warned you but your skulls were too thick for you to understand.

  27. Ihiala axis is the boundary of Imo/Anambra and it is a very hot zone. When Soludo comes in, he needs to chase those Hope Uzodinma killers back to Imo State. Gov Obianp refused going to Enugu meeting (a coward) because he said that he couldn't sit and discuss with someone like Hope Uzodinma who is causing the mayhem. Hope knows his people afterall he is an ex-convict for robbery in Benin before he joined 419 in Lagos.
