Saturday In House Gists - Fake Prophecies...

Some people cannot make any decision in life unless Pastor tells them what to do... Once Pastor tells them what to do, they listen to no one else...

Have You ever been given a Prophecy by any Pastor Before that did not come to Pass? It did not come to pass but you made drastic decisions thinking it would come to pass?

Someone was told by a pastor to call off an engagement cos the other one would not live more than a year, this person called off the engagement and is still single, 20 years on, the other is still alive, married with kids and doing extremely well financially.. the one who called it off lives in regret and has attempted suicide twice....

Please share your experiences!

    3. I travelled to lagos for the first time with my elder sister. We went to her friend's house. There was a prophet who came to see our hosts. The lady introduced us to him and urge him to pray for us. He decided to pray with us individually o. When got to my turn, he said "sister, your star no agree with Okra soup". Hian, okra is my best soup in the whole world. Even when my neighbours are cooking okra, I dey prepare Eba dey wait. Secondly, he said I should not travel by air because the plane will crash. How can I go to kano from lagos na. I was not used to travelling over night. When I was going back to Kano, any rough movement, I will tell myself it's over. My brethren, that was how I got to kano in peace. When the plane door was opened, I almost jumped over everybody coming out make plane no explode on my head abeg.😁😁😁

A friend confess to me of recent while in tears, that her pastor told her her baby daddy is her husband from heaven .
The baby daddy in question is a woman beater, Cheat, drunk and many more. She narrowly escape being killed by him.
I thank God she is now in a better place health wise and all.

  4. John 10:27 My sheep hears my voice, I know them and they follow me.
    -Jesus Christ

Jesus did not say that "his shepherds" (pastors) hear his voice. He said, "my sheep hear my voice"
I go into prayers (and fasting) and I hear from Jesus directly and he leads me. He is the Good Shepherd.
No pastor saved me, and not pastor can deceive me as long as My Savior Jesus, leads me and speaks to me.

  5. Never have I been a fan of pastors or spiritual leaders or all what-not. Never have I been a fan of anyone who uses his or her level of spirituality to determine or undermine or foretell my matta. I went fortune telling with a friend one time and realized that our people are still learning how to prophesy. That one just told my friend so many vague things. The fortune teller was mindful not to be specific in any of the things she foretold. Madam now dumped her boyfriend and has been single since. Boyfriend is now married with 2 little girls and living well. Madam won't stop stalking his social media accounts.
Growing up, someone prophesied to momsy that she was carrying a boy, she gave birth to twins girlsπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… since we got to know that story, all of us secretly decided to live our lives on the "being good" principle and have faith in the gain that comes from it.
Getting married and trying to conceive now now like say I get baby factory, someone prophesied that we will have a baby in our 2nd year if only we could pay tithe of our ages to his church. Ha! He was talking to the wind. πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’
If God really really needs you to know something, don't worry, one way or the other, you'll know. But to waste my time going to see one pastor or one prophet, pls slap me if I do that, I'm not well somewhere.🀭🀭🀭

    1. Ironically, Jesus was not a fan of spiritual leaders either. It's so funny how so many keep calling his name, because if he was around he would denounce the vast majority of them.

  7. Over 10 years I have gone such route since one told me that it is my mother inlaw that is making my matrimonial house unbearable for me and not be able to have a child; I agreed with her oh ha cause I can't even shout. Who has time to disgrace a prophettess of God! I was just agreeing. I went to that Church for something else entirely and she was seeing what is not. Husband, I didn't have, marry I wasn't married nor ever been, pikin I no deh find after I had my son! So where is the prophecy of doom coming from? I was just looking at her like this eenn.

Once they see you are fair in complexion it's either you have spirit husband, ogbanje or mummy water spirit or you have the three altogether. That was how another one told me that he just saw me in a spiritual group and I shall bring 30k for him to do assignment for me so that they can free me from the group and leave me alone or else I won't prosper or marry. So I told him to tell them that they shouldn't bother, I have left the group already cause I won't pay Jack to remove myself. I told him to help me tell them that I am not doing again, it is not by force to be in a group.

  8. I went for a baby-visit(his wife put to birth). They're white garment couple. After I had stayed awhile, given them my little gift, collected the canned drink I was served and put in my bag because I wasn't in the mood to drink yet and in my place you don't reject what you have been offered on a baby-visit, the man said we should pray. It was short but filled with so much shout that didn't go down well with me. I still smiled and thanked them and stood to go. Then bros said while he prayed a vision came to him that I was going to be married before the end of that year. That I should sow a seed of faith and my man would come and I should faithfully set my wedding date and proceed to pick things. Well....I had been married for 17yrs at this time😝😝

  9. Let me share this story here. During my undergraduate years,we were 5 friends, 3 girls and 2 guys, we were all really close, so all of a sudden one of the girls started getting close to the guy,and they started dating, the rest of us were not really happy with the development, cos we think they're breaking the group,as the 2 of them started doing things together without the rest of us,maybe we were just jealous of the 2πŸ˜‚, so along the line ,we were trying to break the relationship, the girl confided in me and the other girl that a prophet told her that the guy will be very rich, so she can't leave him ,but last last they parted ways just before we left school, the shocking things is ,the 3rd girl in our circle got pregnant just as we were about rounding up,we all thought it was for the boyfriend we all know, the boyfriend wasn't in our school, until later we got to know the pregnancy is for the guy the other girl was dating,we all fell betrayed, but then we are already going for service year, she later told me that it was because the first girl he was dating said he will be rich ,that's why she hook him o,now she's regretting, 15 years later, the guy is still hustling with almost nothing to show for it, our friend is frustrated, they have 3 kids now,but they're yet to formalize their union, infact my friend now lives in their family house, with plenty family wahala, I always pity her anytime we speak on phone, cos she's passing through a lot, the guy she was dating then is is now in uk, she told me she regretted leaving him,cos the guy wasn't in school then, he was just doing one job in Lagos then, and he's always sending m9ney to her then, but she hear prophecy change base, because the other guy is very brilliant ,infact all of us in the group rely on him for tutorial,so she think the future with him is brighter.

One friend carry her go white garment church to check which of her sultors be the "right one"..so,the prophet picked one, asked her to bring his picture and 7 20naira notes that he LL marry her ASAP.mind you this said man is doing extremely well,so they got married almost immediately and after seven months he came down to zero. They started feeding from hand to mouth,it was so bad that his mom started to Waka for son and the whole thing was unfolded.its 9yrs from one deliverance to another but I thank God at least people are supporting them financially.

  12. A course mate visited a prophetess who told her, the day she would meet her husband, he would be wearing a yellow t-shirt. Finding out the young lady had never been outside her state of residence and the state where our school is located, she told her, it was also this husband, who would take her to Lagos. Young lady kept waiting for the "knight in yellow armour" to show up. She got a lecturing job outside her state of residence, she refused to take the job, cos, she kept insisting her husband would be the one to take her to Lagos. We lost contact though but the last time we were in touch, this beautiful lady was still waiting for the "Yellow shirt man". Don't know about now.

  14. I think people fall for these false prophets/prophecies because they do not read or better still STUDY the word of God. When they do, you find out that, the Bible has answers to so many things. They will also be able to check/confirm what any "man of God", in any guise, has told them with what is written in the word.

Again, when one hasn't built a relationship with God, how can he/she hear from God or know how God speaks to him/her? It's just like walking up to a random person and asking him/her to give you, say, a million naira, when he/she knows you not. So, when there's no relationship with God, they tend to find answers elsewhere. And they always want, "sharp sharp answers", forgetting God is not a magician. When these "prophet/ess", see or should I say, smell, their desperation, they just concot and keep concoting one story or the other, while milking the victim.

Another thing is, some people feel, these prophets, prophetess and pastors are their "links" to God. Like, "since I can't see God or hear Him", let this man do so for me. Thus, they begin to worship these men/women and put God aside.

If only they know, how beautiful a Father to/and child relationship with God can be. If only they know that God speaks to us on a daily but many are too busy to hear Him. If only they know that, just like the father of the prodigal son, must have been patiently waiting and watching out for his son's return, is how God is towards us. If only they know that, they are entitled to eat from the table and not crumbs that fall from it, they will arise and return to the father, rather than wanting to "fill their stomachs with the pods fed to swines".

    My two cents.

  19. This happened some 5yrs ago, from one of Stella's single and mingle post that year to the first male cousin of mine I dragged to this blog to partake in that edition.
After a while he told us that he has found a wife and was willing to introduce her to family, two months down the line the excitement in him had changed. What happened my Oga? He said the babe told him that the mom went to check and found out that he was in a settled relationship that the marriage was coming up soon and the said lady is pregnant too. Meanwhile, Bibi no get time for woman at that time and completely single. Na so babe ghosted him. Luckily he got married 2yrs later and they have two children now. Meanwhile the babe is still single o.

Sadly you'll see people carry their big Bible to church on Sundays but never bother bothered to study it on their own, except when the are asked to open a verse in churce services.

  20. One told me during service that as he was praying,he saw blood speaking against me,and he asked me if I have aborted a child before,I was still a virgin and had no boyfriend then, this was many years back o,so I said no I have never done such before, then he came closer and whispered to me that I can confide in him if I have done it before πŸ˜‚he just wanted me to agree in presence of the congregation.I still insisted and spoke my truth.since then I never went to that branch of Redeem church again,
    lie lie pastor.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
Then another one told me my ex was my husband, another prophet said I should leave my ex that he wasn’t my husband, see confusion πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚I just tire.I kept on trying to patch the relationship and overlooking how I was wrongly treated by my ex,cos I felt he was my husband.
Last last one day I had to use my head and think for myself,I sat myself down and told myself the truth.if I am bin treated so badly in a relationship, what wlll be my fate in marriage.Omo I told him one day that I was done and he didn’t believe his eyes till today.he has begged, cried and promised to change, proposed marriage,I returned his ring to him and faced my life.
When the time is right I’ll be happy again.Use ur head and don’t follow everything a prophet says blindly.

  24. A bank manager was at war with his elder brother who was in US about 20 years ago. When he was failing JAMB in those years, a pastor convinced him that education was not his future but trading. He asked his brother for a financial assistance to start a business but the brother refused. He threatened and even fought his brother when he came back to Nigeria bc he believed that he hated him.
Today, we both laugh at the case. His brother has forgiven him. But he learned his lesson. Those pastors and babalawos are there to make bad situations worse. Only idiots will listen to them. Sadly idiots are not in short supply in Nigeria
