  1. Rooted for Senegal so bad! They deserved this trophy. If you followed the games you will realise Egypt have not be spectacular. Their game in the final was simple: Draw the game out and head to the penalties because they know their keeper is that good but it was not to be. Congrats Mendy! What a year it has been for him and to their coach Cisse for history made🎉🎉

  4. Yeah, I was team Senegal from day 1! I'm so proud of Mendy. 5yrs ago, he was jobless, now he's both African best goalie and world best! Such an inspiration!

    1. Yes!! True Fidel. I read his story and it's such an inspiration to those aspiring for a better tomorrow. Congrats to Mendy. And y'all know I will rub it in that he's Chelsea's goal keeper right? Winks.

  5. I so happy for Senegalese, Egyptians have been hoping on penalty because that's what took them to the finals but Senegalese scattered it to emerge the African champions, congratulations to them

  7. For me, I was so impressed by Sadio Mane's attitude (mature, humble, good sportsmanship), unlike those arrogant Egyptians whom God humbled.

  8. Congratulations to Senegal. Loved that they won. With a black coach and they have never won it before. They came ready and prepared. If they did not win it now that they are at their best; it may take a loooong time for them again. I do not think Egypt deserve it sincerely.

  9. I was rooting for Senegal like it was my country. I think that was because of Mendy. Very well deserved win. It would have hurt me if Egypt had won after playing low level bullshit all through
