A man who was abandoned by his friends and family when he was nothing can never be moved again by such act.
Someone you tend or trusted with ur heart can break such act and when it happens, you feel so sad but at the long run, you get used to it and will never want such to happen to you again by putting in place all necessary tools to curb and ward off such happenings.

Before the missionaries came to Africa, before the introduction of the Bible, before even we could read and write as a race, Africans have had the tradition of circumcision. We have always circumcised the male child on the 8th day. Who taught us to do that?
According to the Bible, Abraham was first told to do so by God. So if we Africans, already circumcised our male children on the 8th day, without ever meeting the missionaries or knowing what a Bible is or even being able to read about Abraham's encounter with God, where then, did we Africans, learn to circumcise our male children on the 8th day?

Alright, I think it's gross irresponsibility and a lack of acumen for one to get a BUSINESS GIVEAWAY, and just within three months you are moaning over lack of money to even commute to church. The funds was made available to help you grow your businesses, the give away does not mean "throw away", goddammit! No investor or financier would be happy reading what you wrote up there, now imagine you were asked to make return on investments every 3 months, what will you have to say?? Let's say you gotta grant from Tony Elumelu Foundation or any other known investor or financier and you come up with this jargon?? The Angel who gave out the business giveaway is not asking for return on investment, rather they gave out to help. I told myself I won't be diplomatic about this write up, this just shows some of you who got this grant used it for personal issues! And that is a stupid thing to do! @Buxomebony, this is not about you, but for every other person who feels they can come up with non-existent business plans or ideas to swoon Stella cos she has a good and kind heart. The abuse of funds, meant strictly for business shows a lack of discipline!
DeleteMoving forward Stella, I suggest that as financiers of businesses make provision to assist, you should also make the beneficiaries give you a progress report every month, they don't need to make it public, just you knowing how the seed you planted is blooming or withering. Please it's important to monitor these folks, I know you might not have the time,but try. No one wants to give out money to a slothful person who would come back after gross squandermania to appeal to people's emotions with tales of not affording transport to church! Making money is not easy, then you find someone dole out a lump sum to help you and you squander it under 3-4 months??? I don't fucking care the tales you have cooked up! Please Stella, let people be accountable for monies you give them, it's not enough to just dole out cash ma, please. Let them keep you abreast every month on how the funds is being utilized. We pray for growth for those who really used their funds for business, and to those who "flexed" theirs, I pray Stella learns from this. I repeat, the financiers would be appalled reading that someone who got a giveaway under 3-4 months can not get transport to move around. Fellow BVs, if it was your money, how would you feel?? You did not ask for returns, but someone somewhere who got not less than 100k after writing a good business plan is coming to say no transport of say 500 naira to and fro?? Let's first be human, even when we choose to be stupid!!

Delete@Mor it's really not easy I had angina due to grief,I had to make a decision to stay afloat I reminded myself that death is inevitable though hurtful but we must carryon, I reminded myself of the good times I shared with my departed loved ones and it has helped me ,its over a year for my dad and almost a year of losing my sister but the pain feels fresh .
These things don't go away easily it's how we carry on that is the problem and I'd keep praying for strength for everyone going through grief .
