Dear Annie, you picked your heart and that’s okay but don’t make it seem like you dint know what you were getting into. You chose what you knew because you were to scared to pick yourself, he was all you knew so you settled.
Some married women also behave this way, they get married and not try to grow themselves outside that, they hold on to that title so bad, forgetting people can change.

I cannot imagine the constant manipulation and emotional torture she makes him endure for all she thinks she went through! She definitely pretended very well before marriage. ReplyDeleteI heard when they started dating Annie was 15 and Tuface was 24. If that's true, then Tuface is a predator and if he were abroad he'd have to register as a sex offender. Sadly laws don't work in Africa.
Can you blame Annie for centering her life around him? He's all she's ever known! He GROOMED her! And when a person is groomed by another, they have Stockholm Syndrome. They are conditioned to think they can't do better, no matter how much said person hurts them. That's how come in the US, a 30+ year old teacher had an affair with her 12 year old student and the poor boy kept defending her and even married her despite the fact that she abused him and stole his childhood. Because she preyed on him and groomed him.
That's what Tuface did to Annie, but because he's Tubaba, nobody will say it. It will take a lot of psychotherapy for Annie to heal from this and to find herself. She's a very broken person. Yet African women who don't know any better will be hailing her as a strong woman.
The truth is that Pero is not the bad guy in this mess. Annie is also not the bad guy in this mess. Both Annie and Pero are victims of a manipulative and predatory narcissist named Innocent Idibia.
The saddest part was when her daughter asked her in the first episode,'mummy are you happy? Are you sure you're happy or are you pretending to be happy?

Happily married women don't break down in tears every time they talk about their husbands. My husband and I watched the show together and he was cringing throughout and kept saying this woman needs therapy, she is broken. After watching I went to follow her on instagr because there's so much pain in her heart, she needs healthy love and its sad that she's ready to spend 10 more years in this unhealthy love. She was even saying her husband's spec is dark skinned girls with slim physique. Like really? Seemed to me like someone who will bring her husbands spec in the home for him so they can have threesomes together to keep him from cheating. It's crazy. Annie please if you ever read this blog, you need to get therapy, this love has damaged you. You have to love yourself first before you can receive healthy love. Don't let your daughters think its okay for a man to disrespect them with infidelity. They clearly know daddy cheats on you and it's not okay for them to think its normal.
