How is it that some Pastors grow big and others do not? What is the secret?
According to him
"I'm tired, you people should allow me pass away, I am tired, allow me to die. Since I opened my ministry, no members I have been serving God since 2000, I opened my ministry no members oh..

Only 15 members. God you called me I have served, prayed and fasted. I have done everything to make sure that my church grows, I have done evangelism, morning calls and night vigils to make sure that my church grows. 15 members..
Ask my wife, there's nothing we have not done to make sure that the church grows, it's as if I'm facing frustration. All my colleagues that we went to Bible school together, some are traveling abroad doing well , their churches have grown.
I will host crusade, after that I won't even see money to pay the guitarist and everybody. God you called me in this ministry there's nothing I have not done I cannot even pay my house rent, allow me pass away."
I thought it was a skit when i saw it o
ReplyDeleteGo and get a job!..
Delete🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
ReplyDeleteEyah
ReplyDeleteI feel for him. It's frustrating. Now I see why these Pastors do jazz and all sorts in order to blow
I concur TOTALLY 13:12
DeleteRomans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

DeleteThis people just b bringing shame on Gods name, it’s obvious he wanted fast money, travel out n live large, did Jesus travel out ....
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts too
Deleteyes, jesus travelled out. read your bible very well.
Deleteyes jesus travelled out. read your bible very well.
DeleteHahahahahahaha 😀🤣😂. You should be a comedian biko. Did Jesus travel out? Lmao 🤣
DeleteBut Hello Pastor, one quick question, what can you do for your members that they can't do for themselves? Like do you have any super powers? No, so why expect human beings like you to bankroll your life and church? Please go find a job ok. Emancipate yourself from the thought of getting rich through others Please.
It's tiring.
DeletePhilippians 3:19. ..Their god is their stomach and their glory is in their shame!
ReplyDeleteNice to read that you "opened your ministry. . ." It is your own, not his own.
Else, you should have understood that taking those 15 souls to heaven is better than
a fully packed cathedral of 100 000 without a heaven bound soul.
🤔🤔🤔
Amen. All I kept thinking was what is wrong with having 15 members.
DeleteFind a daytime job and minister to the 15 on the weekends. Who says a pastor can't have a regular 9-5.
His is not about saving souls it's about earthly glory. Even one prophet in the Bible only got one convert all his years of preaching. This pastor done do better with 15.
Stop watching ppl and what they have as a measure of your worth. Look how many pastors do diabolical things and serve dark masters, yet you wishing for what they have. All you are guaranteed as a servant of God is the peace that surpasses all understanding. Satan always promises earthly glory and wealth, but can never give peace.
I love your comment! @ anon 13:3.
DeleteThis pastor's actions may look right from human point of view but his motives are not. And what God looks at is the motive. He sees the heart and He alone understands why we do what we do.
To people, it will appear he is doing it all in the Name of God but the God who sees the heart and weighs the motives and intents of a man's heart knows he was doing it for himself...for what he will benefit...for his glory and personal enjoyment.
To such people, church is merely a business venture. More people, more money, more fame, more influence, more power. God is not even in the picture.
Satan is beckoning him to hellfire fast and he wanted to answer? Everything in Nigeria, including soul winning has become transactional?
ReplyDeleteO my Jesus my Savior, how did we get here?!
Can you believe it?
DeleteIt's quite appalling and this is why we must be steadfast.
DeleteEnjoy this gift called life and not stress your soul with unnecessary targets and goals.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy life.
Try your best at every given venture but know that what will be will be after all that is done.
Just move on from there.
Naked you came into this world naked you will depart from it.
Else depression is coming to claim you too.
Missed call
ReplyDeleteStop eet🤣🤣🤣
Delete🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Delete😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteWas he called though? Is he truly walking in obedience? Is he preaching the gospel or condemnation? One or these or all and more could be a factor?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm,it's frustrating, tho d vision tarries,it must surely come to pass,u have need of patience pastor
ReplyDeleteAda ohafia
Many are called...few are chosen.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the purpose of being a pastor/priest/clergyman to win more souls for God? If out of the 15 members, you have been able to win over 10...then you're in a better position that a pastor who has 100,000 members, yet has only won 10 souls!
ReplyDeleteHis reasoning for becoming a pastor is/was clearly flawed. He wanted the fame, and material/financial benefits!
Eyaaa... I feel for him and I understand. One thing he should know is all that glitters is not gold... Oga continue to preach and win more souls for heaven, work forGod and for get about the people you know and went to bible school with howor they travelled out and drive flashy cars. When your time comes God will surely reward you
ReplyDelete15 members and you're complaining when my neighbor's only members are his wife and 4 kids and they drum and disturb the compound
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣
Delete😂😂
Delete🤣😅😂
DeleteHahahahahahahaha
DeleteFor doing this now, the 15 members he has been managing will reduce. Some pastors are even looking for the 15.
ReplyDeleteLmaaaoooooo lord have mercy oooo, this isn't funny,it means you weren't called man of God
ReplyDeleteBv areiella
He shouldn't have quickly ran to open up his own church..
ReplyDeleteHe would have stayed under someone for sometime and grow from there..
Why the rush bro?
True
Deletechurch is not business where you learn a trade and go set up your own shop later..
DeleteFirst did God Almighty call you? Did you seek for direction? Did you follow Christ's teaching? Its not just about being a pastor, doing what pleases you or what pleases people and then hoping for the glamorous lifestyle of wealth, respect, cars, travel and power, its more than that. Pastor press the reset button, go back to the drawing board, ask yourself while you choose this path, probe whether you were really called like you said and then focus on the real job of winning souls without thinking of the worldly reward. Again, God might just be testing your patient and trust in Him with the few members.
ReplyDeleteDid God actually called you?
ReplyDeleteSome of these men should stop deceiving themselves, your business is not growing you want to die, change business bro.
Pastor/Apostle/Prophet etc are not jobs. Paul and Peter were not paid but rather raised money to feed widows and poor Christians. No instrumentalist or choir members in the early church was paid. You did crusade to steal sheeple in town that will be cutting you the monthly ten percent that Jesus did not collect or demand but didn't go to Gombe or Borno to meet those who have never heard the gospel abi, Mr Sakamanje?
ReplyDeleteVineyard work is done in pure service to God. Neither Steven nor Naomi were paid. The anomaly of people paying to keep able bodied men and women in their weekly motivational concerts is not biblical or godly. GO AND WORK. See them saying a man who robbed Peter to do a display of giving to two Paul's yesterday is a giver even when someone was asking about the whereabouts of an innocent child. Wicked lot.
Paul left a promising career to make tents so as to fund himself and his missionary travels. Peter's big harvests as a fisherman after Jesus appeared to him helped him stay off work for a longer time, sustaining himself modestly. It is African Christianity's error to misinterpret that as quiting a job. He went part time so as to be able to minister. God blessed the works of his had first, then commissioned him. Jesus worked as a carpenter till he was 30 then preached for 3 years. When he ran out of money, he did not attempt suicide or levy followers. Rather, he performed the miracle of gutting money from a fish to pay the government tax unlike the 419 of miracle money some jokers are now doing where a whole angel will be going to POS to transfer $415 in a world where transfers can be easily traced and verified. So you expect Manhattan Chase bank to have a branch in heaven? And they will be paying taxes to God there in which currency?
You people worship money. Peter who God used to win 3,000 souls in one day did not get a golden chariot as a reward. Paul made it clear that the heavenly crown is the reward of the faithful servant.
If you want to travel out or drive Rolls-Royce, enter market or carry gun. Stop making noise.
Heard it's a comedy skit.
ReplyDeleteI keep saying it Nigerian pastors are hustlers. They may know the Bible from genesis to revelations but they don’t know God because the devil is working very hard
ReplyDeletehow many Nigerian pastors do you know? some of you just sit in your little corners and make ignorant blanket statements.
DeleteWondering if the story is true!
ReplyDeleteIf the man is called, I doubt he would ask God why his ministry remained stagnant. There is a process to every genuine call to ministry.
Transformation into the likeness of Christ is the first in the process, followed by discovery of purpose, then location and timing.
God will not approve for exploits and endue with power one whose heart has not been tested and perfected for divine purpose.
Preacher man should lock himself up and get details of his purpose from God.
In the interim, the man should stay away from preaching to avoid messing up the souls in his care.
Pastoral work is hard, I empthazie with him.
Go back to God and ask why He withholds approval for service.
The strongman factor in his bloodline may also be responsible for lack of growth.
you are contradicting yourself...asking why your ministry is stagnant in itself does not make a pastor fake...one or two of the big names we hear today have asked that question and God gave them the answer. that you are in Gods will does not mean challenges will not come. there are so many reasons why a church can be stagnant and even our individual lives but you have to go back to the place of prayer..
DeleteI want to understand something abeg.
ReplyDeleteDoes being a pastor mean one cannot work?
I know pastors that still work na so why is this pastor lamenting that he can't pay his rent?
The key goal is winning souls for God; other things are secondary.
there is no law that says you cannot work, but sometimes God can ask you to pastor full time. you now have to trust him for your needs. There are pastors who pastor full time and still have businesses on the side too.
DeleteHaha. Deputy Jesus people, come see person wey you go carry money give unto giving to God. Small small truth go dey come out. Pastor want hammer but him village people no gree
ReplyDeleteIol...make i laugh first. except this is a comedy skit then you were never called....my church, my this, my members, ogbeni the church is not your personal church. God calls you to draw men to him so if you are doing everything and church is not growing something is wrong and you must go back to who called you.. suicide because you have 15 members and others dey travel? only God grows a ministry and if you have a genuine spiritual mentor they will tell you how theirs grew. as Christians we all go through our wilderness experience sometimes when you feel God is not with you, but if you keep on in fellowship with him he makes a way of escape.
