DeleteIn the old testament I read God was not hot tempered, he was slow to anger. The people were the issue, if you read across the old testament you would see that human sacrifice was a common practice. People gave their children to Baal, Molech and ashteroth.
DeleteHomosexuality, rape and incest were rampant . Example Sodom and Gomorrah. All forms of idolatry were the order of the day.
So many times God would give them a second chance and send several of his prophets to warn them before he acts. Example he sent Jonah to Nineveh and they repented there by averting his anger.
God is not an angry bird looking for who to destroy. He is a loving father looking out to restore mankind to himself hence the gift of Jesus Christ.

So I just read yesterday's bleachy bleachy chronicle.
ReplyDeleteI must let you all know that bleaching is different from lightening your skin, a tone or two tones lighter. Bleaching is done with harsh products, lightening is done with mild products, bleaching leaves green veins and patches on your body if not done well, lightening doesn't do that, the worst is you will have dark knuckles if not done well.
So I was a dark little girl, grew up and started toning my skin in higher institution, now I'm two shades lighter than my childhood days and no side effects cos I did it with mild products over several years. I was beautiful but I'm very beautiful now.
It's ten years now since I finished from Uni, married with kids. Beautiful light skinned kids and no, I did not use any product on them, I ate the right foods and took the right drugs before and during pregnancy.
Leave those ones jare. We see their comments here everyday asking for what to use to "brighten" their skin. Do what gives you joy, if a lighter skin would give you joy, lighten itπ€Έ

How can I overcome fear when sitting behind the wheels trying to drive
ReplyDeleteIf you're a lady, draw inspiration from other ladies that drive. Tell yourself if they can do it, you can too. That they don't have two or more heads. It's normal to have fear, yes, every driver had that initial fear. Keep telling yourself that if A did it, you can as well. Do not want to do so much at a time. Driving is the real meaning of practice makes perfect as in your hand being stronger with each drive and new day. Good luck.
