    3. Which Nigeria? She shld rephrase and say "Nigerian Entertainment Industry". Because Every Saturday im seeing beautiful women without big yansh getting married; im also seeing beautiful career women without big yansh getting promoted at work.

    4. Bnr are u minding her and people that think like her? It's a lie jor. She wants to do bbl but wants to use people seeing small yansh as a disability as an excuse. Noone sees small yansh as a disability madam Tolani. If u wan do bbl go do and stop covering ur insecurity and low self esteem. Own it with ur chest n be accountable

    1. Yes, as an influencer physical appearance is a big deal and you have to look a certain way. It's the selling point most of the time.

    2. Don't mind her. Her inferiority complex is on another level. The other time she was shading her ex housemates that are light skinned for bagging deals

    3. She should speak for herself. A bad workman blames his tools. I never noticed I didn't have big yansh until ppl started pointing it out n still that never stopped me from attaining any relationship or job position I wanted. I move and think like I deserve to get anything I want n I still do! Tolani should check herself and her low self worth. U can't blame ur lack of success on things outside u all the time. Yesterday was ur skin color, today it Is ur yansh size, tomorrow will be ur lip size or ur nose size. Get a backbone n stop letting the world define ur worth n stop being a fuggin victim!

    3. I'm telling u. Big ass that most of them go n do n it only turns them into sex and fukboybmagnets but not wifey material. Khloe and Toke that did their own yansh, ask them how far? They're still online everyday crying about being single. When will these ladies realize that the sexiest and most attractive thing about a woman is her confidence and self love ? I don't blame Tolani for what she is saying. When u work in an industry surrounded by vain air heads with low self esteem that reduce their self worth to yansh n breast, u will feel the same way.

I used to feel same as a naive girl in uni with friends that would mock me everyday because they happened to be endowed Kenyan girls. They were older than me n I was yet to be fully developed so their mockery has ended in silence after all these years. Til today they r still jumping from one failed relationship to the other because their self worth has been built on yansh

  6. There's a bit of truth in what she has said no matter how much of an airhead you might take her for.

These days, shallow people and some people you thought are learned(men and women alike) seems to see women who doesn't have big boobs and butt as disabled. My sister's neighbor vibes with my sis and myself anytime I go visiting. She told my sister sometime ago that her boss wanted to introduce her to her elder brother(her boss' elder bro) who's a workaholic and hardly have time to socialize. She said that the boss told her that the only reason she can't introduce her is cos she doesn't have big butts and her boss said that she's wondering what her bro would be playing with even though her boss appreciates that she's a nice and cool headed person with an amazing character. Her boss even suggested she go get BBL or do liposuction.

Imagine where people are judged by their physical features that they didn't have a hand in. No one created him or herself. I understand where Tbaj is coming from and no matter how much we ignore it, most of us are guilty of it and it really needs to stop.

    1. Sorry to break it to u but most men looking for yansh n endowment b4 they start relationship with a lady are not good n faithful husband material. They are just into knacks and still have the maturity of a 15 yr old boy. U find that most of them treat those ladies like trash. Their marriage and relationship no dey last also because that criteria makes them attract women that mostly have yansh to offer. See burna boy, see Drake. Going for big yansh women but playing all of them like ludo

    2. Her boss' brother never ready to marry na. He is looking for a gf not a wife. When he is ready to marry u will see what he will go for. Breast n yansh don't raise children

      Delete
    3. There's no truth anywhere. Ur one experience with ur boss does not categorise the whole naija population. Many things are going bad in Nigeria that are way more important than yansh biko.

      Delete
    4. If she does that bbl or yansh just for that man, I am very sorry for her. I am 100 percent sure that they guy isn't worth it at all. His sister sef is trash n bringing down another woman's looks to satisfy her own ego. Everybody get agenda. Maybe she is jealous of the ladys looks sef and used the fact she doesn't have yansh to bring her down. Life is deep o. If women had a single shred of the confidence n audacity that men had, most of u would not be in the miserable relationships ur in now where the man is smiling everyday n the woman is crying n suffering. I suggest she hits the gym instead of bbl. The kind confidence that comes from exercise cannot be described

    6. Sometimes when people don't see how to put u down, they will start looking 4 what is not important to use and put u down. So her boss saw she has good character yet she still wants to make her feel incomplete by using yansh n saying she needs bbl. Are u not seeing that she is jealous of sth the girl has n wants her to feel inferior? Why even mention that at all. Is she her brother? Men wey no dey get spec. If ur attracted to someone ur attracted to them. The guy may have liked her without yansh but his sister has just cockblocked him. She didn't even need to bring that up about getting a bbl for real. Unfortunately it seems the neighbour girl stupidly fell 4 it

    7. So because she managed to be someone's boss that qualifies her as learned.? Lmaoo a lot of u still have very far to go In terms of learning about the world n human nature. And just cus she is her boss does not mean she is above trying to make her subordinate feel inferior out of envy. Try n read about human psychology n how to not take things people say at face value.

      Delete
    8. Your sister's neighbour needs to address the vulnerabilities that makes her think not being involved with that family is a loss.

The lady who made that statement was simply looking to bring her down psychologically after other attempts had failed. Why would you want anything to do with a man whose sister is the one who would be the third wheel in your home? If this lady wasn't the man's spec, why did the sister not focus on going after what her brother likes instead of informing those she feels are not qualified?

Never take advice from people who are envious of you. Don't believe their put downs.

Genevieve is the queen of Nollywood, not Lilian Bach or all the other women who went to bathe in bleach so that Bayowa films can cast them. How much hips does Buhari's daughter in law have?
Take a look at all the women who have achieved anything worthwhile in Nigeria in and outside entertainment: how big are their backsides? Why didn't Lateef Adedimeji marry one of the girls who have doctored their complexion or bodies but went for a dark girl with a belly? It is in this same Nigeria that Bukunmi Olowoshina became a darling of movie watchers and I don't think she ever needed to put on a bra.

As a woman, you are the prize, the good thing God promised. Never see relationship as a job interview.

Let your sister's neighbour's hater go and look for a fool to mentally imprison and frustrate with tales of a man who isn't ready to head a family.

  7. People have preferences, I know that.
Her boss’s elder brother wants a woman with boobs he can play with and ass, then he should go look for one.
There are also people who do not even care wether you have butt or boobs, all they are after is good upbringing.
This is one of the reasons some marriages/relationships are crashing.
We grow old by the minute and our bodies are changing. What happens when your boobs and butt sag?
Butt and boobs does not guarantee a happy life neither is it a ticket to heaven.
Appreciate your body and if anyone says you don’t have the physical qualities they desire, please let them be.
Giving yourself headache and doing all sorts to get money to get fake boobs and ass, all to please one man who may not even be worth it.

    1. I'm sorry that that is a reality FOR YOU where pretty face is not enough. Maybe una no know how 2 carry una selves with the body u were given by God, that's why u think not having yansh is a determinant of success or relationship bliss

14:53 you struggling doesn't mean everyone in Nigeria is struggling, I go out every day and I see how men drool over ladies with protruding backs. haven't you noticed how men turn their heads to take another look after they've passed a lady with nice derriere? try to exist in your environ and be observant of certain social behaviours .

  13. Tolani has low self esteem. Before it was because she was dark skinned now its because of small bum. We gave a lot of dark skinned people making it . She started bleaching small small later now she will come out with big butt and say its food and exercise. Be comfortable in what nature gave you.. There are people who can't walk and in wheelchairs. Thank God you can walk.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And someone like her with low self esteem will always look for sth to complain about.. she complained about dark skin yet women with dark skin are making it. She saw that one no follow, she now started complaining about yansh. When she has done yansh n noy satisfied she will look 4 sth else to be insecure about, maybe her lips or her nose shape. Body shape is a trend, with time yansh will stop trending. Already the Kardashians have done yansh reduction.

N why is Tolani n making sweeping judgements about the WHOLe of naija n its entertainment industry forgetting that she is only hanging with a small percentage of people. Only a small percentage of people think like tht. Her small circle within Lagos is not the entire naija entertainment industry. Some people here agreeing with her are making the same mistake. Ur sex crazed boss's brother is not the whole naija Male population. Myopic albeit learned naija people are not the whole of naija. I know of a guy who talks about liking big yansh but he toasted slender skinny women. Most of these guys just like to talk to follow trends n say what they think other guys will find cool but at the end of the day they marry their real preference. Like to show off big yansh gf to their friends as a trophy but it ends there

  18. Hmmmm😳. I thought leadership was Nigeria’s only problem. In 2022 when women-run nations are building submarines & complex technological machinery! Naija has serious issues! Is there any statistical evidence to back up the generalizations on women’s need to have a certain body shape/size? SM is just for entertainment & entertainers whether in Hollywood or Nollywood do not represent a broad spectrum of the society, know this for a fact. Former German Chancellor Merkel, leaders of Sweden, Finland, New Zealand, USVP Harris, Fortune 500 women CEOs, regular Women professionals, US Secretaries of State Susan & Condi Rice, Speaker Pelosi, Funke Opeke, Bisi Boyle, Chimamanda Adichie, Ngozi Okonjo among others should be highlighted more than these shallow thinking women for the sake of the coming generations. Do you have any idea how many women are in research labs in some of the biggest corporations on earth from Boeing to Pfizer? You think the innovations that gave you the Siemens, GE or Phillips machines used during those surgeries were by women scientists with big butts? At the age of these shallow ladies some were already with global corporations with flat bum & sound intellect. My God given intellect & career flew me business class since my twenties, not a man, my flat butt/b**bs or even my own money! Who did this to Naija? Chrisland scandal didn’t happen in a vacuum if these are the women girls see as “role models”

Check all of them out in 10 to 15 years time. Even without external pressure on hips, many women need hip replacement surgery as they grow older from normal wear & tear. You can claim 20 even at 50 years old with photoshopping & airbrushing on SM but your body will expose your birth date when the time comes. Set apart money for maintenance as you reap what you sow. You don’t need bbl to marry a good man that loves you if marriage is your goal, may even be a negative in pregnancy & raising kids. These girls want it because their help (money) comes from their male “gods” & competition is doing it so to “sell market”, they do it. It is pathetic to spend your entire life & brain trying to look attractive to the opposite gender or the world. In the words of proverbs, “Beauty is vain…but a woman (or man) that fears God shall be praised”

    ReplyDelete
  19. Here is one for the low self esteem BBL bandwagon about an Indianapolis woman who died after the butt surgery. “Shacare Terry, a young mother and business owner from Indianapolis, died after getting two cosmetic procedures —a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) and tummy tuck. She left behind loving family and friends, as well as a daycare she built from the ground up called Minnie Blessings In Paradise”……copied from Yahoo News .

  20. A lot of these things are like bleaching...ppl condemn and condemn, yet virtually everyone in public eye these days is fair in complexion, with hourglass figure and sophisticated style. Who is decieving who?

Abeg, leave the girl to say it as she sees it. What u can argue is that women who have brains, money, clout, talent and such other advantages going for them don't need to rely on beauty to get by; but to push the narrative that here in Africa, ppl (men and women alike) don't put a premium on fair skin and voluptuous figures is sheer FALLACY.

Just go back on this blog and check comments over the years, if u need a little mind jogging. Then u'll understand where this sort of notion, many of u here are in denial of, comes from.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Exodus 23:2 “ Thou shall not follow a multitude to do wrong” is in the Bible. That many are doing it doesn’t mean everyone should join in doing it. I beg to disagree that Nigerian men prefer fair skinned ladies or that everyone in the public eye is fair skinned. Yes you have the bleaching crowd. Let’s watch them in 15 years time but you have the Joke Silva, Beverly Naya, Beverly Osu, Yvonne Jegede, Kate Henshaw etc among the Nollywood and entertainment crowd and many more in the professions who are not bleached! Some tell themselves that lie to justify bleaching their own skin. FYI the scarce forex used to pay for these bbl surgeries abroad are mostly from Nigeria’s looted funds which means their Zaddies are stealing your money for “big yansh” instead of converting Nigeria to Dubai with the same oil money.
