  1. Prove Your Love By Winning Souls!!
    2 Corinthians 5:19.

    Excerpts!!

"Our evangelical responsibility is something that all of heaven takes seriously. Sadly, many don't understand how serious this really is"

"The proof of your love for Jesus is keeping His commandments - His Word (John 14:15). His Word says,... Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). So you keep that word by being a soul winner"

"Make pupils of those in your world, teach them about God and the Kingdom - life, establish His Kingdom in the earth. Your love and commitment to the Lord must reflect in your dedication to the preaching of the Gospel"

    Prayer!!

I love you Lord, and I boldly and openly proclaim the mysteries of the Gospel as an effective witness, and impact my world with your righteousness. Thank you for empowering me by your Spirit to be an effective witness, transforming my world and beyond with the news of your saving power, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  2. The images she was drawing looks really scary oo. Mental health no be your mate. She has been obviously battling for a log time. She has been dropping crypted and obvious signs. We were not just looking deeply because we almost don't take it serious here. We dump it on religion and become spiritual and ofcourse people called her proud and alot of names. She was even dr*agged recently for not attending her colleague Rita Dominic wedding. Smh.
Because she has always been a private individual, it was easy to call her names

And when Gistlover decided to put it on our face, see how they went about it. Even drag lesbi*anism into it. To what end? I ha*te that blog with all my being atimes πŸ˜’

I truly love Genny. Reading the story since yesterday affected me oo I no go lie. God pls heal her mind. Give her peace and make her whole. She needs you right now God. Let this sickness of the mind pass swiftly
I am so glad she is where professionals can help her get through. With the right kind of help and the love of family and friends she will pull through. Let's keep praying. May it work for her. She is a strong one. This too will pass.

Pls lets try to check on our friends and reach out to them irrespective. Let it just be there you checked. And make we dey talk oo. When you have dem0ns messing with your mind find people to just talk to. Atimes talking helps. I know some people are town crier. You tell them something and it is everywhere, it is why most people prefer to d!e in silence but the truth is TALK abeg. Free your mind. Let their consciences judge them if they use your story to trend. But atleast you talk.
Mental health is a huge deal. Talk and seek professional help when needed. Let them call you ma*d. Be ma*d and be whole. It is treatable if help is seeked on time.

God hear our heartfelt prayers pls. Our Genny will come back and testify to your grace and mercy. Amen πŸ™

  4. Ok I want to have this conversation because I have seen so many posts on this. And while I agree with the posts to some extent, I'd like people to look at it from this angle.

Before i continue, SPOILER ALERT. IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN BLOOD SISTERS, DISEMBARK!

It's about Blade; the hired assassin in Blood Sisters. I already know how people have been critiquing the character and his attempt at killing Kola but let me say something.

I think the character Blade is perfect. I think he was DELIBERATELY meant to portray an incompetent and unprofessional criminal and that's what he did.

    1. According to the police, Blade is a career criminal. He is NOT a professional assassin. This means he's an armed robber, snatches phones, steals cars, etc.

He is just like that notorious boy in your hood that snatches phones, steals stuff and has muscles and tattoos. He may have killed people BUT he's NOT A PROFESSIONAL killer. It takes more than knowing how to shoot a gun to be a professional assassin.

Did you see his little dingy empty room in the slums? Which professional killer lives that way?

So I wonder why you people were expecting him to be a mixture of Jason Statham and Tom Cruise.
If you hire an agbero living in Okokomaiko to kill someone, that's exactly how it would go.

    2. His dressing was absolutely ok to me. Mind you, like I said, this is not a professional hitman. He's just a career criminal. So "fitting in" isn't his top priority. You expect an agbero to sew asoebi just so he can "fit in"? Where dem do that one? Even professional assassins don't dress to "fit in" just to kill.

The assassins that invaded a church at Ozubulu, did they dress like priests or parishioners? The assassins that went shooting at a certain wedding that year, did they dress to "fit in"? When did it become compulsory for hitmen to dress a certain way just to kill?

    3. THE WEDDING TOOK PLACE IN A HOTEL. I think a lot of forgot this. It didn't happen in the bride or groom's private residence. It didn't even happen at an event centre. It happened inside a hotel. With hotel guests trooping in and out. So Blade didn't need to fit in or dress like a wedding guest. Anyone who sees him walking up and down wouldn't think he is out of place. They would think he is a guest staying at the hotel.

    4. Blade not knowing how to fight, not being discreet, following the groom into a kitchen, getting so angry when the groom taunted him and winked at him, pushing people away as he ran upstairs to fight him, etc are all in line with his character as a common criminal who was way over his head trying to be a killer.

This is exactly how any random lout you give 2M to kill someone will act.
He lacked finesse because he was supposed to lack finesse. He screwed up stuff BECAUSE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO!
Oga couldn't even fight. This is not your regular Dwayne Johnson, guys. He is a common thief out his depth.

    *****

Ultimately, I believe the Blade character was used to portray how inept Femi (Gabriel Afolayan's character) was. So inept that he couldn't even hire a proper professional assassin. He went with the first bad boy he could find.

Remember Femi was so inept he couldn't run the company when he had the chance. So inept he couldn't kill Blade without his wife stepping in. So inept he couldn't even handle his sister. His wife said he couldn't even hit right.
Kate Henshaw even said it that Femi was so pa. thetic he couldn't hire a proper killer to kill his brother.

Blade's "badness" was very intentional and very realistic. I think the writing and acting on his part was ok. It is not an avenue to mock the movie. It gave what it was supposed to give just that people didn't get it.

An inept person hired a petty criminal who doesn't know much about being a professional assassin to to kill someone and he bungled it up.
Simple. E no too deep like that. It's not a Nollywood epic fail moment.

PS: I'm not saying the movie is perfect. There might be other bad moments for you in the

  5. BE FAITHFUL

'You were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.' Matthew 25:21 NKJV

In Scripture, to be faithful means to be steady, stable, dependable and consistent. Is this you? Faithfulness pays big dividends with God. 'A faithful man will abound with blessings' (Proverbs 28:20 NKJV). Jesus said, 'Many are called, but few chosen' (Matthew 20:16 NKJV). Why is that? Because talent may open the door and get you the job, but character and faithfulness will keep you there.
When it comes to faithfulness, God tests in two ways:
    (1) Your faithfulness in someone else's vision. 'If you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own' (Luke 16:12 NKJV)? If you're critical, caustic, complaining, competitive or compare yourself with others, you will be disqualified for what God has in mind for you. Faithfulness calls for serving with love and humility.
    (2) Your faithfulness in small things. 'His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things...For to everyone who has, more will be given...but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away"' (Matthew 25:23, 29 NKJV).
God wants to know he can trust you. You prove that by how well you serve others and by your faithfulness in small things. These are proven biblical principles that work in spiritual matters, and in everyday life. Today, prayerfully ask yourself the question, 'Am I faithful?' When you are, God will bless you.

  16. I find it funny that in this Stephanie/Suleiman story, the moral lesson people (read men) are grabbing from it is "when you cheat on your wife, cheat with someone who has something to lose".

    Not:

Do not threaten to kill your side chick
Do not forcefully abort your side chick's baby
Do not poison your side chick

Some of us followed this story from 2016/17 when it started and we know every single detail.
From the grooming of Stephanie as a teen
to the gifts given to her and her family in order to silence them
to dumping the church's offerings on her laps
    to getting her pregnant
to forcefully terminating it by giving her a drink and leaving her to bleed to death in a hotel
to having her arrested when she came into Nigeria to shoot her music video and branding her a terrorist
    to threatening to kill her.

It was after the arrest and threats to kill her that she finally spoke up. She said if anything were to happen to her, it is because this man she had an affair with (an affair that started cos he groomed her as a teen who was brought to him for "deliverance and counselling) wants to kill her and had threatened to end her.
She even instituted a $5M suit against him all the way from Canada.

I'm very sure the only reason that lady is still living today is cos she spoke up. If she had kept quiet, she for don die since.

A year later he lured her back to Nigeria and forced her to recant under duress. But the thing is, before that happened, Stephanie made a video saying they were asking her to recant and say "Nigerian politicians" made her say those things against him. She made a video and mentioned the date and said if she ever does recant, this video would be her witness.

So when she did recant, everyone knew it was out of duress. Plus then it had been established that suleiman was dating Daniella Okeke.

This girl spoke up not because she was razz, had nothing to lose or was clout-chasing.
But because of the death threats. Because he made her life a living hell. Because each time she came into Nigeria, he had her picked up for being a "terrorist". Because she nearly bled to death when he gave a "spiritual drink" which was a concoction aimed at terminating her pregnancy. He left her in the hotel to die. Yet when she lived, he wouldn't still let her be.

Men, instead of telling your fellow men to cheat with women who have something to lose, how about you don't try to kill your side chicks after cheating?
How about you don't forcefully have her abort your child and leave her hoping she'd bleed to death?
How about you don't use the resources within your disposal to make her life a living hell?

    Wait.

How about you don't cheat at all?

    Too much to ask for?
    I thought as much.

    4. After life is more important than all these banters.
Sheybe the ma doesn’t remove anything from your body but if it does remove the “ma”.
Why should you stop greeting your neighbor? If your neighbor was white, would it matter? Stop making issues where there’s non. She’s your neighbor and that’s the neighborly thing to do, you don’t even know when that person will be helpful to you.
However, if the entire greeting takes money from your account by all means stop.

  28. Sometimes in 2020, I heard a tiny still voice asking me to wake up in the middle of the night and pray that my step-grandmother was in the room. Now, the only person I had sleeping next to me was my mum. While I had never met the woman, I had heard stories about her atrocities as a powerful witch, most of her children and grandchildren didn't live long and I was told each time she heard of their demise, she always acted unbothered and a lot of bright and promising destinies were cut short. For instance, she told an aunt that her series of failed marriages was because she broke her plate as a baby. My parents, although not staunch religious people tried their best to keep us away from her. I was sleepy that night, but I kept saying God have mercies on me and left it at that. The following week, I felt severely depressed about how stagnant things were in my life, I shared my ordeals with my pastor, and he advised me to fast and pray for 3 days with Psalm 24, and I did and observed all my prayer hours, overnight of the third of my fast, my parents received a call to inform them that this woman had died. After her death, doors and mouth opening miracles began happening in my life. This is someone who had ruined many Lives and destinies in the family, an adult aunt that wets the bed, my uncles and aunts battled with near success syndrome and marital failure, and untimely death. There are certain battles the Lord fights for us. I want to implore us to trust in God and draw nearer to him. What my relations ran from one spirituality to the other for fortification was resolved by my God through prayers and fasting. The terror in our lives died.
