    1. Even many people in Nigeria don't know Nigeria don't practice the jury by trial system, was it not here some were still talking about signing of divorce papers this morning abi was it yesterday sef.. do they sign divorce papers here?

Most people learn from the foreign movies they see.. we all get the point he is trying to make, face it, criticize it and leave the messanger alone

    2. Alot of Nigerians talk like illiterates or perhaps many have never worked in proper Organizations before to know this is standard practise. If you are under investigation for many crimes especially such as Rape(a minor). It is standard practise to be put on suspension during investigation and trial of the case. You are not sacked but put on suspension....if you are innocent, u resume ur job. It is same for any body/org withn the job u may belong to. Its that simple ; excuse typos

    3. Exactly! Rape is a serious crime. So he's meant to be suspended

    4. Bed and Roses thank you.
That you were suspended doesn't mean you are guilty..
      Emeka, rest!!!

  2. Hmmm. There are innocent men who have had their lives destroyed over false rape allegations. It's important he's judged as guilty first.

  3. I support Prince Eke stance, this has always been my position, let the court pronounce him guilty first before you kill his career..

Many innocent men have lost all because of false allegations, and it's simp men that be doing the most.. this is what Jonny deep went through only to find out later that he was innocent, but his career is dead, and I lost my pirates of the Carribbean series

    1. There's something called "stepping aside".

    2. You will support. Same IQ

    3. I know what stepping aside is..
The law is made for man not the other way round, if it's yielding negative results, then it should be changed.

Any small allegations, people are already clamouring for endorsement companies to end contract and all, not minding if it's true or false, is that not witchcraft..

Let the court give it's it's judgement first before we move to the next phase

    4. Many men have also used the corrupt Nigerian system to silence their victims.

    5. Cases of them being innocent is rare, very rare. Guys will no longer rest, using JD as a case in point

Rare? Are you for real? How many false rape accusations have we not seen on social media or do you just talk without thinking first?

Let's even imagine you're right, does that now mean the innocent ones too should suffer? It's like saying we should no longer believe rape and domestic violence accusations because most women use it as a weapon to fight men they're not on good terms with

    7. You will categorically do anything to defend your gender which doesn't make sense, and is demeaning for victims. But with you Dante that's not surprising. Besides I doubt Depp's career is over now he has been exonerated. Most of his supporters were women. Let me not mention his lawyer who did a great job. If they had the linear thinking like you, they would have supported Amber and called for his head. You are mostly subjective in your reasoning.

  4. Idiot, talking from both sides of his mouth because he does not want to seen as supporting rape. Yes,you have daughters, but can you trust your daughters around an ALLEGED rapist. He was suspended not expelled pending full investigation. If found innocent, he will be fine and the girl and her sponsors will be sued but if found guilt ,he should be dealt with. Let's not normalise crimes because we are Nigerians

    1. Thank you. I guess he also feels he has to support his gender like some people we know. πŸ˜’

  5. An issue as SENSITIVE as rape of a child its always better you stay on the fence and stay quiet bcos this right here looks like you are defending him. They are suspending him while investigation is on-going and its normal, they didnt expel him from the guild....
In a lot of industries.... if someone has an ongoing rape case i assume u will be put on suspection pending investigation and trial is done. If u are innocent, u resume ur job.

  6. This is why it’s a suspension and not an outright dismissal. He is being accused of rape. If he is found guilty, the suspension changes to dismissal and if innocent, he is reinstated. This is how it is done in any sane environment

  7. I support what he is saying because I have seen where a girl was shouting rape! rape!! When the person around when everything happened shared her own story, it was different from the girls own.

  8. Yes you can, rape is a serious allegation and if he is innocent, he can be reinstated.
AGN made the right call, because 98% of the times the allegations are always true

  9. Suspension is standard and acceptable practice in cases of allegation(s) [especially serious allegation(s)] against a member of a group.

In work place suspension cited, the employee gets full entitlement for the period of suspension if the employee is cleared of the allegation(s). Some suspension is required to be done only on half pay and required to be only for a limited period within which investigation and disciplinary procedures MUST be completed. In our side here, a rape case can take years to be decided.

So IF the allegation is later CLEARLY proved to be false and seen even by the girl's family to be FALSE, can they repair any proven loss arising from the suspension?

If the Guild acted in accordance with its rules that any person accused of ... shall be suspended, then it acted fully right.

Whether to sanction before or after determination of an allegation is always a tricky issue. And one person always lose somehow some how.

  10. Its a serious allegation esp when its involve a public figure. I don't think Emeka will just suspend him without finding Out or hearing from both sides.
