EkweremaduGATE - Donor Was Already In The UK For Months And Perfected His 'Organ Harvest' Story To Avoid Return To Nigeria...

This is an SDK Blog Story....

After doing some SDK BLOG Investigations, it is important to note that contrary to what most Blogs are posting, the young lad named Ukpo Nwamini David who was supposed to be a donor to the Daughter of former Senate President Ekweremadu did not travel with them to the UK but had already travelled ahead months before and perfected his plans after he may have changed his mind on being a donor to their daughter ...

Also worthy to note is that the Ekweremadu's were not arrested on their way to Turkey but were arrested when they arrived the UK on Tuesday morning of June 21, 2022 from Nigeria via Turkish airline.....

They were not headed to Turkey and had no intention of going there.

SDK Blog asked insider sources why the young lad was not checked in a reputable hospital to make sure he was a match before being taken abroad, the sources said '' Tests were carried out in a reputable hospital in Abuja and he was a perfect match for their daughter Chinonso, I am also shocked that the Hospital in the UK said he was not a match.....Everything probably changed after the boy changed his story and age... He had been there for a while and must have asked around on how to get his story to suit his plans. Those who live abroad will understand perfectly what he did'

The young lad is not homeless or picked from Lagos as has been reported... He lives in Abuja and has an address.

Attached are documents of Ukpo Nwamini David whose date of birth indicates he is over 20 years old (An adult).

Also worthy of note is the details of his BVN. His date of birth is clearly captured as October 12, 2000. It is also important to note that the said BVN registration was done over 3 years ago, on January 31, 2019.

Are Minors allowed to have BVN in Nigeria?

  1. He even has a TikTok account saw a video where he was doing the money making challenge . Some one that has strong face like this . Looking at this person it’s obvious he can never be 15. He looks older than 21 . People like this will make genuine asylum seekers lose face . It’s just so unfortunate .
I hope and pray he is deported and jailed !!
Even if he is not jailed he should be deported .
I don’t car much for Ekweremadu but this guy shld be punished for giving Nigeria a bad name

    1. No need for jail term, deporting is enough so he can be safe and far away from the people that want to use him

    3. I wonder how no one in their family (immediate, extended) even no one from their village was a match; someone that will have their genuine interest at heart. That they had to go as far as getting a boy who sold phones in d mkt....A hustler, WHY? bcos they are used to everythn settlement. You shld know if he taste UK he will NEVER want to come back bcos of the ROT you created....Politicians always using the poor but this one back-fired.

    5. Sdk,the issue at hand is not only about the boys age but the fact that he was paid to donate his organ. That's against WHO and most Western countries code of conduct. it's seen
as exploitation and it's illegal bcos if not frowned upon the rich will continue to prey on the poor and vulnerable. It's indeed a sad situation and i feel
pity for their sick daughter. May God stretch forth his healing hands upon her. I still believe a donor within their nuclear or extended family would have been the best instead of cutting corners.

The story I read here in the UK, is totally unrelated to what Stella posted.
Stella, please do your investigations based on the statement that the crime unit of the Metropolitan police released.

I pray their daughter gets perfectly healed. The news of her parents' arrest cannot be good for her health at this critical time.

Those with access to other countries should face front. I had an experience that was such a close call. Even a plane sheet of paper, I won't deliver on behalf of anyone from Nigeria not to talk of bringing over someone who isn't immediate family after an objective check. The heart of Nigerians who feel left behind is terribly wicked. Most of them cannot even spare a short prayer for the ailing lady. They do far worse to Nigerians who bent over backwards to help them even when those Nigerians cannot be accused of stealing their so called public funds. They are willing to sell their own mothers to step on foreign soil. Choosing to ruin a helper is easy for them.

A section said, he is a family member, he agreed to give his kidney and images flying online showed that he is truly 21 and not 18.

Because of greed of staying abroad, you went as far as tarnishing the image of a prominent citizen. I hope the UK finds the truth and do the needful.

People should stop listening to those giving them advise to do illegality for selfish gains.

They can manufacture all these documents, BVN overnight, to suit their narratives. Why did a reputable News like Arise News air their correspondent's report outside the courts in London saying that they were arrested about to board a flight to Turkey and he had 20k dollars in his pocket? Go to Youtube and listen to her report. She was right there in the court where the prosecutors presented their case.

Reports say they had been in the UK for up to 10days and Ekweremadu received an award from the Nigerian community within those day. The boy has been in the UK since February and the Doctor refused to harvest him stating he wasn’t aware of the gravity of the action he was about to undertake.

    9. Stella, this is the same question I asked Chike yesterday. Is the UK infallible? Didn't we see or read cases where people where wrongly accused, convicted and sent to jail but later it was found they were innocent and compensation was later awarded to them. We shouldn't just say, oh cos it's the UK, he's guilty. Let's wait for the proceedings to know what really happened.

Only God is infallible. Let the court serve justice on this case and bring the culprit to book.

These are popular people. If you say they are using you as a slave, the case wil be investigated
Keep in mind, the investigation started because he supposedly ran away from them after they allegedly maltreated him for refusing the procedure. He ran away and then reported them
The hospital did not report initially so this talk about him being a minor originated from him

  8. I’ll wait for the court hearing so as to see the evidence the UK police have against them. I know those people hardly make arrests without at least one strong evidence strong enough to hang their suspects.

The UK police knows this is strong allegation and maybe lead to a strong sue for compensation by the plaintiffs if they are wrong or have no credible evidence to back this case up.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not all persons arrested by the police or prosecuted are convicted. Right?

All over the world, the police is trained to act on allegation, and to act further on prima facie (face value) evidence. It is the prosecutor who needs strong evidence to prosecute criminal cases most times and, in the other times, prima facie evidence to prosecute some special cases. The crimes alleged here are special in nature. So, prima facie evidence is good enough to act on. But prima facie evidence is the weakest form of evidence for prosecuting crime.

Arraignment and prosection of persons serve different purposes. And conviction may sometime not be the main aim.

The case has already achieved one purpose - the UK will not accept the alleged conduct. A
point has also been made to all Nigerian rulers: stay away from the UK if you have this kind of plan.

But it is hoped that Nigerian Rulers would learn from the reaction to this case how their refusal to be humane in rulership has breed so much ill will towards them and their families. That Nigerians believed the allegations even before the court verdict is telling. For as someone said, rulers who hid donated Covid-19 palliatives from their citizens can do anything any one of their citizens. Will they learn?

      Delete
  9. So if he was twenty years, how does that change the fact that he was not a willing donor? How do they prove that they told him what his mission to UK was all about? Did they sign pacts in Nigeria too?

You think a kidney transplant is like spontaneous delivery or lysing a boil? When you hear harvest, do you think it is like what obtains in the farm?

The doctor discussed himself a fortune in legal fees one the documentation they had on their records changed. If you verbally refuse consent on your way to be sedated for surgery, it's hands off. You are signing another form and it just may be in another hospital.

I see a sacrificial lamb biting their asses.
You're talking about an advanced country that's sentimental towards the less privileged, even if the boy cooperated comprehensively, it could easily be known if hes a minor, regardless of what his passport DOB says. The teeth are the most accurate age indicators, you think the UK government wouldnt recognise a minor if they see one???

      Delete
    3. You are right, B&R, it is called dispossession. The boy will be seen not to have willingly agreed to donate, and the Ekweremmadu's will go for it.

      Delete
    4. George Michael practically bought a new pair of lungs but the thing is that was outside the UK. He was way down the list and was losing time. I feel for this family but as long as it's not someone close to them, no matter who donates, it looks bad because of their socioeconomic class.

      Delete
  11. To be fair to both sides, a document can be backdated in Nigeria just to cover up. BVN or not there's a politician involved and can do anything. This is Africa, a birth certificate can be redone several times to reflect change of information so is any document.

However, looking at that boy's picture, he' looks above 20 years to me. He's not a minor, I think he scammed them through the way to relocate. Not caring if this couple go to jail or not, nor if their daughter they are trying to save die in the process.
It's wicked to say the least but this is the country they the politicians created through corruption and greed. People will do anything just to survive because the national resources have been shared among the privileged few, leaving the masses in abject poverty. A hungry man is an angry man they say...

Organ donation is a huge undertaking and can affect the donor's own health in the longterm. All these donor stories only ever show the good outcome for the recipient, nobody never talks about the bad outcome for the donor. And I understand why, but full disclosure in everything is necessary.

It is this kind of wicked mindset that brought forward the politicians that are in power today. They were chosen by wicked and greedy people with no thought for tomorrow. People who choose to sell their future for urgent 2k or less have no business complaining about those in power. Our less educated, exposed or advantaged forebears didn't do that in numbers so high.

    6. But the young man was tested and found not to be a match, so he couldn't do the surgery even if he wanted to. How is he a crook? He showed up to the hospital and submitted himself for the very painful testing process. He did not walk away from anything. The law of the UK prohibits personal organ donors, all must use the list. It is the senator's camp in their desperation who did not do their due diligence in more ways than one.

I doubt it is the young man who filed any charges, likely he was asked some questions and did not answer well and the hospital alerted the police. How many street hawkers in a strange foreign country facing authority is going to have the presence of mind to answer with eloquence. That young person was boxed in and spilled all he knew through nervousness. Was he exploited? Possibly.

It would have been better for the senator and his wife to plead on the mercy of a doctor or nurse who is on the organ donor board at the hospital and could push their daughter's case forward. Sometimes the board has to decide who gets that lone organ that comes up, patients need someone to advocate on their behalf in those closed door meetings.

I posted my thoughts immediately this story broke. But understandably, people are very angry with politicians in general, especially one who supposedly spoke ill of the political rave of the moment (I say this because knowing my country people, they will change tunes when they see that it takes more than....."let's leave that story for another day")

Since this happened, I saw the anger, viciousness, lies brandished as inside sources, and jubilation over someone else's travails, and I knew that we, as a people have become so debased.

I understand. I hope the senator will learn from this when he eventually comes out if this mess to know that they have failed and created monsters that will watch others go to jail gleefully to satisfy their own needs. After all, that's also what the senator and his family were trying to do.

This should serve as a lesson to our politicians, fix the country, If our healthcare was good with excellent facilities, I am sure the Ekeremadus will not be facing all these ridicule and embarrassment. YOUR WEALTH WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK FOR YOU., FIX NIGERIA.

    5. Why would you bring someone from Nigeria when there are Nigerians and others you can hire over there unless you were trying to exploit the person by paying them peanuts or even in naira? I don't pity people that get in trouble for exploiting others because labour is cheap in Nigeria. Even while in Nigeria, I couldn't understand why someone will employ a kid as young as 8 years old to care for a baby when they can employ people above 18 years.

I wanted someone I knew from back home and I had someone in my mind. She was someone well know to the family, a 30 year old lady. I will not even hire a 21 year old to stay with my baby let alone 18.I prefer very mature people with experience.

This relative went to tell the government she was traffiked and slavery issues etc. This case eventually killed the woman after spending so many years in prison.

It's illegal and modern day slavery. All that is wrong is wrong abeg. It's immoral to take advantage of naive, vulnerable, poor individuals who lack the mental capacity to make informed decisions

    3. God bless you anon 14:11 This is what they do and try to justify it when reported. Even if the person isn't maltreated, the person has to be paid the minimum wage by law. You can draw up a contract to deduct the accomodation and feeding from the amount or have them pay you for these but don't pay them 50k naira per month and think you are doing them a favor by bringing them over. With the current conversion rate, that money will seem so small when the help reports you to the police that the person will be charged with slavery.

    1. What he did is wrong but I don't know if it is 'desperately wicked'. To me a 21year old lacks the mental capacity to make such life changing decision. Especially a poor, low class, lowly educated 21 year old. He most likely doesn't know the medical and physical implications of such invasive surgery. And he has the rights to pull out of any former consent before the procedure. I believe if he was well to do, he would definitely not agree to be a donor.

On the other hand, it is immoral to take advantage of one's naivety, vulnerability, poverty and mental capacity. It is really obscene and immoral. That people do it doesn't make it right.

However I must state that I understand Nigerians who are on either side of this story. Ive been both 'poor' and 'rich' so I understand. The poor masses can relate with the boy cos they know he is one of them. It could easily have been them. Making a poor decision because of promised monetary gains, choosing to sell a part of your body as hustle even at the detrimentof your life. The middle class and rich will relate with the Ekweremadus cos it could easily have been them.. bringing someone abroad and they betray you, using money as an advantage to solve your life problems. Either way, I hope justice is served cos that is the most fair action.

    3. You can donate as early as 21 years old by law. Secondly, being poor doesn't mean that one is stupid. If a 21 year old armed robber broke into your house or drives away with your car, all this rationalizing wouldn't be entertained. It is just because it has happened to someone you love to hate.

You are this senator and his family for those poorer than youv are. Be careful about the vices you make excuses for.

    3. *A Lesson to Learn from Ike Ekweremadu Kidney Matter!*

      By Nick Agule

Ike Ekweremadu is obviously a powerful man. Spending his 20th year in the Senate of which 12 were as Deputy Senate President.

He could have used the time to get Nigeria a world-class kidney hospital but no! He didn't need kidney treatment so it was his least bother.

Things happen and his own child needed kidney treatment. As it is with President Buhari and everyone who has held office in Nigeria, Ekweremadu shamelessly took his daughter to the UK for treatment where he was going to be attended to by Nigerian nurses and doctors whom Ekweremadu and gang chased away with total neglect of the health sector.

But Ekweremadu did not go with his child alone, he took along a boy who was suffering hardship and pains from a Nigeria Ekweremadu helped to damage. Ekweremadu wanted to harvest this boy's kidney to save his own child. As fate will have it, tests performed on the boy showed his kidney was not a match for Ekweremadu's daughter.

Ekweremadu began to make arrangements to return the boy to Nigeria and obviously take another one to the UK. But the boy tasted and enjoyed the good life in the UK something Ekweremadu and his band of bad and failed leaders deprived him of in Nigeria.

The boy saw electricity 24/7 (powered by gas from Nigeria), he did not need to start 'I better pass you generator' or he sleeps in darkness to the joy of mosquitoes.

He saw how clean and beautiful the hospitals were different from the mortuaries we call hospitals in Nigeria, and absolutely for free.

He saw how efficient the Metropolitan Police were securing the neighbourhood and not the Nigerian police starved of funds by Ekweremadu and gang! The boy enjoyed rides on clean and efficient public transportation (buses, trams, light rail, underground tube, trains, boats etc) and not the Okada, Keke and endless trekking in Nigeria.

The boy was awed by the beautiful landscaped, trash free and green environment and not the filth he is used to in Nigeria. The boy saw food everywhere. He saw beautiful schools from nursery to reception to primary to secondary all the way to high school absolutely free. He saw that his dream of university education will be realised even if he has no money for fees, and ASUU will not truncate his dream in the UK.

The boy saw unemployed people paid benefits by Govt. The boy saw, enjoyed and liked the UK better than Ekweremadu's Nigeria!
The boy decided he was not going back to Nigeria damaged by Ekweremadu and gang!

The boy ran to seek refuge from the metropolitan police. In Ekweremadu's Nigeria, the police would have arrested the boy and dropped him in Kuje prison where for the next 10yrs he will still be on 'awaiting trial' roll. If the boy tried to talk he will be summarily executed and his body paraded as an armed robber gunned down by the 'gallant' police. Ekweremadu and his gang are above the law in a lawless Nigeria they have created.

Unfortunately for Ekweremadu, the UK is not Nigeria. He has exchanged his posh mansion in a highbrow neighbourhood in London for a police cell where he is being schooled in the act of rule of law something he is obviously lacking in his nearly 20yrs as a law maker.
Ekweremadu will have his day in court.

His victim will now enjoy life in the UK because it's easy to prove that if he returns to Nigeria Ekweremadu and his goons will go after him!
If Ekweremadu had done his bit to fix Nigeria, all this drama would not happen!

Ekweremadu and those like him who think they can do well when Nigeria is sick have just found out the bitter truth - no one will prosper better than Nigeria. If Nigeria fails, we fail with it!

In 2023 we have a unique opportunity to elect leaders who understand that our fate is tied to Nigeria's fate. We rise or fall together!
      Go get your PVC today!

We wish Ekweremadu's child a quick recovery hoping that now his case is public, a donor will soon be found for her.

    4. There are nannies abroad to hire. You don't need to get someone from naija to come and work for peanuts or no money. You subscribe to the website for a fee and go through profiles of available nannies and schedule interviews with those you think may be a right fit for your family based on their profile. My first nanny from middle East was ekwensu. I couldn't wait to let her go after a month. The best I've had so far is of Ethiopian heritage. It's the same trial and error we do in 9ja until you find the right one but be ready to pay for the service. If you can't afford a nanny, there are daycares and day homes to explore as well.

    6. @Roy, I disagree only on one thing. If Nigeria was ‘fixed’ and had good healthcare and all other things you listed, this still remains a crime, and Ekweremadu is still wrong paying for body parts. The country doesn’t change that fact, just that he may have gotten away with it if this happened in Nigeria.

    8. Thank you @Roy & @Nick the writer of this article. Those defending the guy forming rich with poorly paid exploited maids are so ignorant & self loathing it’s gut wrenching! How can you enslave another person (exploiting the poor with sub-living wage is slavery) in any way shape or form? He was a lawmaker for 20 years but they never needed a transplant in his family so he probably overlooked the endless fundraisers for poor victims of serious diseases.

It costs about $50m+ to get a 200 bed decent hospital with equipment & 2 transplant surgeons & staff that can do such procedures set up in Nigeria. Do they have those in many of their looted personal accounts? Yes. They distribute pittances from banks & bullion vans during elections thinking they will always travel to their ill-gotten mansions in the west to use the facilities when they fall sick! Newsflash, if you aren’t permanently resident here even if your kid is an anchor baby passport holder, you still need to fix Nigeria where you live! I can get an ambulance in 5 mins to get to a world class hospital but Buhari needs to fly for 6 hours to get to the exact same world class facility in Europe so what is so difficult for these mor*ns in power to get into their skulls? They need to fix UCH, LUTH, UNTH, UBTH etc and give them to healthcare investors & managers to handle so the masses also have access to at least one or 2 world class hospitals! It is selfish of these government officials to steal money allocated to healthcare & education just because their families can use the same paid for by taxpayers abroad. See how they ruined public universities out of the same selfishness! UI was a campus of the university of London! The oldest universities produced a lot of the professionals of Nigerian descent in the US & some of Europe but these band of looters have closed colleges for 8 months! In doing so they are not only victimizing Nigerians but taxpayers in the countries they escape to as we are taxed heavily for these services.

  28. Is he above 18? Does he have permanent address? Irrelevant! My grouse is: Why would they even consider returning him to Nigeria after sending him to UK for the purpose of organ donation? The Ekweremadus have no iota of human feelings in them. They treated the boy/man like a piece of rag. This is exploitation that must be condemned. Most people in his shoes would do exactly what the boy did not to be returned to the crazy country. It wouldn't have hurt the Ekweremadus in any way to have set him up for life.

The poor who they didn't do crap for when they had the opportunity.

If ppl cannot find compassion or care for them ask why. Big house, big food, great educcation and luxury vacations are of no help to the sick and dying now. Running up and down looking for solutions to matters you thought wealth would protect you from is the reality. And common sense has not bestowed its discernment to even enlighten the mind of appropriate conduct.

  36. Stellz, I decided not to form any opinion on this matter because there are too many versions out there, we are not abreast with the actual facts, besides, the matter is sub judice. The less we speculate on the facts, the better. The court will decide.

However, after reading some comments, I will like to draw our attention to the Human Organ Transplants Act 1989, CAP 31, Acts of Great Britain. It prohibits commercial dealings in human organs either from a live donor or a dead donor. Any form of compensation for any organ is a criminal offence in the UK. As a matter of fact the only persons allowed to donate any organ are blood relative. It is clearly stated in this Act. It even names the type of blood relationship, e.g parents, siblings, nephews, nieces etc. The only way a patient can get an organ from a non-relative is if the patient finds a match from the donors' list.

Like Bed and Roses stated, Great Britain has very strict rules when it comes to organ Transplants and other medical issues. So, as it stands, even if the donor is a healthy 35 year old, who isn't a blood relative, he cannot donate his kidney to a specific person. If you are feeling generous and decide to give up one of your kidneys, you cannot determine who gets it. It will be cross-matched with those on the transplant list. Unlike the U.K, some States in America will allow you donate a kidney to a patient of your choice as long as due diligence is done and there's no form of commercialization. Other States in America are also as strict as the UK. when it comes to organ donations. The issue of consent is irrelevant.

The issue of a minor comes under the Modern Slavery Regulation in May 2022. This is different from the regulation on organ donation. So even if they beat the slavery charge, the organ transplant charge will be hard to contend with. If they plead guilty, the court will show leniency because on summary conviction, the sentence is 3 months and a fine but if they go on to a full trial, it will come with a harsher penalty.
