TUESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS

  Tuesday Hailings!

IN HOUSE MEMO

I dont have a memo for you... Do you have for me?

+**************************************************

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

Growing up the adults ate more meat, eggs and fish while the kids were made to share or given smaller pieces.

Eating your fish, meat or egg was supposed to be after one had finished their meal, this was considered good manners.

It was the reward for finishing your food. I remember one day in the university I ate my meat halfway through my food and a friend went off on me about how it was bad manners and as a woman it was a double offence because what would I be teaching my kids.

Anyways as a mom now, I have realised that children actually need more protein based diet than adults to have good growth. So I give my kids more meat, fish, eggs than the adults when they want.

Our food has more of carbs and this is the best way to get their protein boost and I don’t have rules for how they choose to eat it, either before or after they finish their food, just eat is my own.

Beans have been proven in recent times to be mainly carbohydrate too with just slightly higher protein content than most carbohydrates, so though I give them a lot of it, I know they need the extra boost.

When growing up if you have two heads eat the protein first and see what my mum or dad would do....LOL

I taught the Bambinos to eat both food and protein together so that none is left.......

PINKYS CORNER
Unforgiving Partner

It is very important we all get to know who we want to be with for the rest of our life(both parties). Some individuals will never forgive you, no matter how small your offense is.

Staying with an unforgiving Partner is so dangerous and can lead to disaster.

People who hold onto hate for so long do so because they want to avoid dealing with their pain. They falsely believe if they forgive they are letting their enemy win. What they don’t understand is hatred can’t be isolated or turned off. It manifests in their health, choices and belief systems. Their values and religious beliefs make adjustments to justify their negative emotions and consequences of not forgiving their partners.

Their spirit slowly becomes corrupt and they make choices that don’t make logical sense to others. Hatred left unaddressed will crash a person’s spirit and can make such individual decide to either commit suicide or murder.

The only thing he or she can do is to reboot, by fixing him or herself, not others. This might require installing a firewall of boundaries or parental controls on their emotions. Regardless of the approach, we are all connected on this "network of life" and each of us is responsible for cleaning up our spiritual registry. When you realize you have offended your partner, you should be able to admit and be remorseful only if you want peace of mind because not doing so might make one partner be determined to revenge by all means.

Tackle all issues as at when due and never leave any stone unturn. Be able to reassure your partner that such will never happen, though it becomes difficult for such partner to trust you again but with time, gift, surprises and sincere change, things will get better. Don't forget that we all are from different background and our temperament differs based on the socio-economic factors, environmental factors, biological factors, cultural practices, societal norms and values that we all represent.

#Love is the greatest#
#no one is perfect but be ready to make positive changes#
#consider your partner before doing anything#

Thanks for this!

READ THIS PLEASE

A Female Islamic scholar was invited for a lecture and the topic she choose to talk about was on polygamy.

She talked on the essence of polygamy, why women should embrace polygamy and support their husbands towards achieving it. Her emphasis was that women should allow their husbands take additional wife without grudges, saying the benefit is enormous.

As she kept emphasizing on this topic, a lady from the audience raised her hand, stood up and introduced herself before speaking.

Lady: Malama, I really appreciate this topic because am relieved of my fear, I never knew you are this simple and understanding. Your message has given me the opportunity to open up to you,
"I have been married to your husband for the past four years , and between us , we have a set of twins "

To the greatest surprise of all in the hall, Malama slumped and was rushed to the hospital. After she was revived, she opened her eyes to see same lady standing by her bedside.

Lady: Malama I have never set my eyes on your husband, I don't know him, I said this to test you and you failed, next time , please preach only what you can do or take !!

They pay after you've shown the party agent you voted for their party, though it's against electoral rule to open your ballot paper after thumb printing but people do this with style for the party agent to confirm they truly voted for them.
If the polling unit is strict, they go the African way like what they did at Ile Ife during the last governorship election; they asked people to swear.

  19. I want to rant abeg. I am a Corper working under the Ogun state government. When I got posted to the primary school, I discovered a lot of these kids cannot read or write. Like they cannot even spell their own names!!! I can't even explain it but it's that serious. I have been trying my best, shouting, engaging them with extra classes without collecting a dime. I just noticed these kids are not ready to work or they always feel reluctant to do anything. Then during my very firts examination with them, I noticed that the teachers write the answers on the board for them. I mean, write answers for these kids. The head of school keeps threatening me to Cooperate and help these kids. I feel so bad and angry at the same time. All my efforts in vain?? No wonder these children cannot even write!! I teach primary 4 and a lot of them cannot write or read A-Z. One of tjem cannot even hold biro or pencil properly. How did we get here??

  40. I read that post on adults begging and honestly I understand a number of things. As adults living on your own, there are basic things you should own, 1 iron, 1 set of cutlery, your own bucket if you don't have a shower or bathtub, clothes, shoes etc. The idea of knocking on people's doors begging for every little thing degrades you. Completely. If your salt finishes and you cook your rice like that, will you die? Must you beg for every little thing. How do people teach contentment to their children, when their hands and mouth are forever open?
