    1. I need all your prayers for God’s strength because I have been depressed for many years and I feel like giving it up. With the death of my mother, losing billions to scammers and no family that cares and the Shame of being in debt with no one to turn to is just too much for me to handle and wish to just end it all to avoid the shame of being broke

    3. My dear
There’s no shame on being broke, if anyone makes fun of your situation then those are are haters right there
I want to send you a passage in the Bible for depression if you do not mind. I came across it myself psalm 27.
We all have to keep holding on, it’s not easy right now but God will definitely come through.
I remember warripikin saying she was in debt and even attempted killing herself, but look at where she is today.
God will show up and I will pray for you

      Push up (original)

Bunch of hypocrites

    2. You see this mental health issue it's very serious. But Nigerians are ashamed to seek help and even the psychologist, most will now start asking you to pray and fast. Many people are supposed to be on nti depressant pills.

    3. Jesus! Why ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ hmmmm may his soul rest in peace

    4. 18:23, do u know how many ppl praying and fasting have brought out of their own depression?

What even gives u ppl the impression that prayer and fasting aren't efficacious?

Ppl will be busy wallowing in their rotten lives then complain that prayer and fasting aren't working.

      Delete
    5. Well… does prayer and fasting really help? The truth is once depressed always depressed there is a thin line, it’s a fight to keep your sanity but the Bible says in the presence of God there is fullness thereof and at His right hands there r pleasures evermore… staying in Christ is a better deal

    6. Even prayer alone has worked for me. Put ur faith in God AND live Godly (seeking His grace to do so) then u will see 'ask and you shall recieve' in action. Peace.

    2. it might be spiritual yes but you must know the facts of a matter to say so...my uncle had a land problem and he was told korokoro by one of the 5 people who planned it that he was going to kill himself with his own hands. he became sick and just like that woke up one day and went to the back of his house and hung himself. he had told his daughter all names of those involved which is how we knew...suicide could be spiritual. some hear voices telling them to kill themselves and some are just clinical depression. in this case i dont know the guy personallyt so we cannot say

    3. Worked in psych in Nigeria. There are so many professional and committed medical personnel to open up to and talk with. The developed countries of the world are recruiting then fast. Don't just assume in ignorance. Reach out and get help. You can even walk into a and e or to your family doctor and ask to be referred.

  26. The news about the suicide has been refuted. It was said he had an accident at a mall in Lekki, was rushed to the hospital but didn't make it.

      You got it wrong sir/ma'am.

The comment was a response to an assertion and a simple request for more information of the assertion.

Correct news is important always. It dispels speculations. It helps people focus on the real issue. Correct news enables appropriate action. If the man's death is depression induced, it would help any reader take that challenge serious whenever another person talks about depression. Also knowing what caused depression in a man to induce suicide is also a teaching/learning point. If the death was an accident, mall/public place managers would learn it could and do the needful.

The ears did not tingle for gossip, but for information which dispels dem say dem say over a very serious matter.

  28. I see people commenting about business doing well.

How do we really judge a business as doing well. By new branches? By staff being paid? By good services? All these may be happening, yet a busines may be losing money or running on loans being paid on the last due dates. Yet some staff will be stealing from the business or the government people may be harrasing with undue red tapes just to get settled. Then add the demands of family and friends.

    1. I was just laughing, most of the people commenting don't even have good jobs and don't even have an idea what business entails. As long as AC dey and food dey hot, dey says business is 'doing well'.

  29. The only thing that would make a man like this to commit suicide is gbese!..
Most rich businesses owners are surviving on loan..
rich people in Nigeria are owning banks to run their business and if you dont meet up paying up and your business is not moving well, depression will set in..
    Next is suicide!!

    4. Don’t say most rich people just to make your miserable self feel better! That’s absolutely not true. Some might take out loans at initial stage but with profit and good balance, they’re able to pay off the loan on time and business stands. Work on yourself this woman!
