Rivers State Gov Wike Threatens That He Will Help PDP Lose The Presidential Election In 2023

Rivers State Governor Wike has threatened to help the Peoples Democratic Party lose the 2023 presidential election.

The governor issued the threat at the commissioning of the internal road in Omerelu community in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers on Thursday while responding to recent comments by the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu said the chairman is exhibiting arrogance.

He said “Doctor Ayu said we are children. Yes, the children brought you from the gutter to make you chairman.
Now we have seen that you don’t want the party to win election, we will help you.
These children you said we are, that brought you from nothing.

“Ayu, you said you founded this party, but you left the party in 2007. You founded a company, you left the company, people stood and brought out the company to what it is today, you have no moral right to still come and claim that you founded that company, you left with your shares.

“You want to show integrity, you want to show a party to Nigeria that we want to take over, you must convince Nigerians that we have the integrity.

“You are the driver that will drive the vehicle to convey us to go our destination. That is the victory we are looking for.

“If the driver has no integrity and cannot show honesty, how do you convince Nigerians?

“If you tell Nigerians something and cannot do it, is it when you enter into power that you will do it?

“Nigerians have seen how ungrateful some of you can be, and that’s why Nigerians also want to be careful, if we give these people power, are you sure they will also be grateful to Nigerians”.

  3. We will surely miss Wike and those beautiful dance moves when he finally leaves office. Those musical band should be made a state outing performance group😁😁😁😁.

Do you guys really watch those dance moves? I had a good laugh watching him. The way he did it killed it mehn.

I told people and even said it here that Wike was treated badly by PDP and someone said it's not true. Infact let me put this way. It's a slap on the South for the PDP to shuttle for it's presidential candidate from the north after 8years of northern rule. That's where their downfall started. I see an end of an era for PDP after this election.

    2. For the record, PDP did not treat Wike bad. His friends in the PDP did. You say"It's a slap on the South for the PDP to shuttle for it's presidential candidate from the north after 8years of northern rule" but this same Wike caused it when he didnt allow the PDP to micro zone the presidency leaving the door open for the north to contest. Wike has grievances with his friends in the PDP and not the PDP.

    3. Teejay I agree with you today ..Its a Big slap to the South for a Fulani to boldly contest for presidency after 8 years of Buhari ..I feel the south is not taking this big slap serious enough .they are concentrating on Tinubu which is good but still both of aspirants should get the heat from the youths ..can you imagine if a south south man comes to contest immediately after Jonathan what they will do ??

  13. PDP lost the election when they threw the ticket open for everybody and anybody. They were the ones who started the zoning thing and APC continued it. Now that's the turn of the South and the Igbos in particular, PDP chose to cheat the South and go against their own agreement. How can Atiku have the conscience to contest after a Fulani man just finished his 8 years of rule? To make matters worse, you continued with other Northerners in the party to get the ticket. Nah! PDP is a useless party. Wike should send them into oblivion.

  15. A lot of people don’t understand why Wike is angry. The nerve of PDP to field a northerner when another one is about to conclude two terms knowing that the APC failed woefully and Nigerians want a change.Wike feels like this was a golden chance he got outmaneuvered from and he might not get anywhere close anymore.I would be livid with party leadership too if they couldn’t put their house in order to give the ticket to the south.
