DeleteSo yesterday the Jehovah witness people came to my residence to evangelize. I watched them through my window blind as they were knocking at the door of a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the first time I will be seeing them ever since COVID ravaged the world. I think I miss them most especially those Awake magazine I usually read from them.
Though there may be difference in knowledge and perspective about the Bible and Christian faith, but I still find it interesting reading their publications which is often educating.
Few years ago before the COVID began, there's this pretty chubby lady that used to come every Sunday and shared the word with me. If there's one thing about her I think it's her smile, soft spoken and physical appearance(Spec). She scent so good too and dress nicely as well.
I fell in love and in one of her visit, I expressed my feelings to her. She smiled and said she knew about it. Women will always be smarter and ahead of thinking when it comes to things as such. They know when a man start developing that feelings.
There's something about her smile. It's so endearing and create this beautiful look and dimple on her face.
Well, she said she will give a thought about the expression of my love interest to her if truly I'm being sincere about my feelings to her but first she will be glad if I can come study with them this week at their hall.
What won't a man in love do???? 😂😂😂
So that week I went to their study all for the love of her and for the love of God. We exchanged numbers when she had seen I kept to my promise. We started communicating very well but she wanted me to be a full time committed witness.

As a Catholic, I can attend any other denomination on invite but can never leave and become a member of any other denomination.
That was the condition I got from her before we can work on a relationship with marriage in mind. It was a difficult one to me.
When she see I wasn't ready for that, she stopped visiting and after a while my calls weren't picked.
I understand it all and I took a walk oooh. I thought we were all Christians 😭😭😭
What about my relationship with one AkwaIbom lady whom I later found out was a member of the brotherhood, the one you people called Olumba. I will share that experience maybe tomorrow or thereabout.

Paul writes, 'Consider others more important than yourselves. Care about them as much as you care about yourselves and think the same way that Christ Jesus thought' (Philippians 2:3-5 CEV). This goes against our natural instincts, but Jesus shows us how. Hanging on the cross, he took time for the condemned criminal hanging next to him (see Luke 23:39-43). As he was being stoned, Stephen prayed for those killing him, asking God not to lay the sin to their charge (see Acts 7:60). Beaten and wrongly imprisoned, Paul and Silas took time to minister to their jailer. Even after God sent a powerful earthquake that broke their chains and opened their prison doors, they stayed for the sole purpose of ministering to their captor. How tempting it must have been to escape while the opportunity was there. How easy it would have been to look out for themselves and not worry about anybody else. But their act of love moved the jailer to ask how he might be saved and, as a result, he and his entire family were won to Christ (see Acts 16:25-34).
In a world whose philosophy is 'look out for number one', selfishness is an instinct you will need God's help to overcome. And when you do, people will take notice. You will never win others by being just like them, so here is the question you need to answer: how many of your friends and loved ones may come to know Christ if you demonstrate that you genuinely love them instead of ignoring, judging and rejecting them?

ReplyDeleteI had a terrible dream today. In the dream I saw these blood sucking occultic people causing accidents anyhow on the roads. They even used some drivers of these big vehicles to carry out their assignments of which some of the drivers would disappear when the vehicle tumbles while some are paid hugely settle their family as they risk their lives.
I have never had such a dream and my dreams do come to pass.
Can you imagine, I was standing close to a main road when I saw as a luxurious bus carrying passengers tried to hit a vehicle but it missed it's target. Since it missed it's target, it decided to start turning/spinning around in the middle of the road, It kept turning/spinning round until the bus tumbled and the whole passengers died. It was even obvious that this particular driver purposely caused the accident as I saw everything he did on the road. A lot of accidents occured. Please let's not fail to put this in prayers everyday that their plans will not come to pass
