INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD




A while ago, I went to visit a friend and on my way out I noticed her child looked sick and I mentioned it to her and she told me not to worry and mentioned casually that her daughter had chicken pox.

I was so angry, here I was with my kids and she said nothing before I came around. I had called to inform her earlier that I was coming with my brood, she should have told me about her sick child and I would have stayed back.

Less than a week later my child was down with chicken pox too. The way we treat certain issues that concerns kids with such triviality in Nigeria can be annoying.

I remember when a friend of mine gave birth and I refused to go because one of my sons was down with measles despite having been immunized. I refused to visit her and some people felt I was being dramatic.

I didn’t and still don’t understand why a sane person should expose a new born whose immune system is weak like that.

Some kids came to visit recently and I noticed one of them had measles despite being immunized. I noticed when they were leaving.

I know nothing will happen to my kids by God’s grace but we can do better as parents.





Na wah oh....... What kind of behavior is this? Why must they visit when their kids are sick? Maybe you should ask if their kids are OK before they visit. There is no need keeping quiet and having your kids go through sickness they didnt bargain for.......Monkey pox and chicken pox any difference?

SAVE AND SERVE

The above is not a topic but a particular place at Ibadan (Ologuneru, off Ido Road). There is a bridge constructed at this particular place but was not constructed properly due to a big house owned by one political figure (name withheld), they don't want to destroy the building,BUT they had to just make the bridge narrow and it's to high for trailers to drive through.

This morning, I went to drop something for a friend of mine, on our way getting to Save and Serve, there was a trailer in front of us and the Micra I was in, was behind a particular COROLLA . The trailer was coming from Ologuneru while we were going(meaning, he is coming down from the bridge while we are negotiating the bridge.

I was busy pressing my phone when the trailer hooted, I looked up and I noticed the trailer was having issues with his brake because he was just coming so fast towards us, I quickly asked the driver to park, he was adamant and dashed out through the Micra window (koju ma ribi, gbogbo Ara logun e). The driver then pulled over but the Corolla in front of us was so foolish, he continued moving towards the trailer.

Within a twinkle of an eye, the trailer collided with the Corolla and 3 people died instantly and the car was written off..So painful but what can we do. I couldn't wait to see or snap the corpses because it was devastating to me. I am still in shock but glory be to God. 

Please and please, always caution your driver or your rider at all time because it doesn't take time before accident occurs.

RIP to the dead ones.

NEW HOUSE GIST


Good afternoon Jeweluchi and my village people, how are we?  Sunday was so hilarious and I laughed a lot...

 Immediately after church, I decided to visit my elder sister and her family, so when they took light, we came out to the balcony and soon we heard this noise from the opposite building...

There's this guy that stays with his new wife and his mom, so the wife travelled and was supposed to come back on Tuesday evening because of the Monday sit-at-home, so Oga quickly used the opportunity to change soup.

He brought home his girlfriend and took her in through the parlour door cos it's a 3bedroom flat, so time come reach for the action film, the girl kept screaming, the guy tried covering her mouth but sweety-body no let am hold body, so mama ran to the room and caught them red-handed, Mama now told the guy to send the girl out but Oga refused that Mama cannot tell him what to do in his own house ( I wish he listened)

While they were there yelling and arguing, the wife walked into the house and met her MIL at the door, with her bags packed and about to leave because Mama said her eyes cannot behold iniquity, na so fuel take pour enter fire:

 Madam of the house now pounced on the girl to beat her but Mama stopped her and told her that the girl didn't bring herself, that the real enemy is her son (such a rare MIL), so the girl was then allowed to pick her clothes and run:

These two women come begin beat this man, I laughed eeeh, he ran off with only boxers, he got downstairs and met his girlfriend still downstairs, ''Ahhhh what are you still doing here'' she did not have transport fare to leave and Oga too no wear clothe come down, not even a phone to do transfer, na so them two start quarrel ooo, how can you visit somebody without money in your pocket, what if I were not around when you came.

It was one of the neighbors that threw 1k to the girl and she walked outside shamefully cos everywhere was full of people, some men are so shameless i swear....

WHAT!!!.... he brought his girlfriend home and took her to his matrimonial bed? God abeg what kind of man is this? I pity the wife he married, if he had the mind to being in another woman, he wont stop.

Na wah oh, this your new environment is not bad for someone who has an eye and ear for amebo but please the secret to a peaceful life is NEVER to chook mouth is what is none of your business, your ears and ears can do the looking and listening...
