  1. One of the funniest things I have heard Nigerians tell people when they are robbed, is, "No worry. The thieves don steal all your problems..". 😂😂😂
Sorry o, My phone, car, electronics, cash or anything else, are not a problem to me abeg. If they are stolen, the thief stole something very useful to me.

    2. My neighbors bag of groceries was stolen on Saturday, the woman was almost going insane. In this buhari economy. That was how we were consoling her, telling her that the thief has taken all her problems.

  2. He Was Judged For All Men!!
    Romans 8:1.

    Excerpts!!

"According to Romans 8:1, man doesn't have to face the second judgement. He can obtain God's righteousness by accepting the truth that Jesus was judged for him on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus became the sacrifice for our sin and paid the penalty by His death"

"Today, anyone who believes in Him is justified from every sin - severed from judgement. What He accomplished for us is much more than the remission of sins. He ushered us into a new life; we now have a new nature"

"That's why He sent us to tell the world that the price has been paid for their salvation"

    Prayer!!

Righteous Father, what joy it is to know that Jesus became the sacrifice for the sins of the world and paid the penalty by His death, in full! Now, I have obtained your righteousness by accepting the truth that Jesus was judged for me on the cross. I'm far removed from the destruction or judgement that works in this present world of darkness, because I belong and live in the Kingdom of God's dear Son. Amen.

  6. KNOW WHO BELONGS IN YOUR LIFE

'A friend loves at all times.' Proverbs 17:17 NIV

Wherever you live and whatever your profession, 'butcher, baker, or candlestick maker', you will have to deal with these three kinds of people:
    (1) The critic. Let's face it, most people are comfortable with the status quo. They not only fear change but will often attack it. So if you dare to be different, prepare to sail through some rough seas. The apostle Paul's critics referred to him as a madman, a fool and a babbler. So why would you expect the same crowd to treat you any better?
    (2) The cautious. These people won't point an accusing finger, but neither will they extend a helping hand. When you get into trouble, they will distance themselves from you, fearing they may be tainted by your perceived liabilities. Basically, they will wait to see if you make it through the tunnel and come out the other side. Then they will wait to see who else accepts you and if you can be of benefit to them. Then they may reconnect with you. These people are users. They are not bad; they're just self-serving. So love them, but don't lean on them.
    (3) The committed. 'A friend loves at all times, and is born, as is a brother, for adversity' (Proverbs 17:17 NIV). Even when they hear the worst about you, the committed still believe the best about you. They value you for your strengths and show grace in handling your weaknesses. These people are priceless because they will love you 'at all times'. So when God puts such a person into your life, protect and nurture your relationship with them.

  8. Singing in the Darkness
We all experience darkness. I, personally, lost my eyesight when I was three because of optic atrophy and several degenerative eye conditions.

Perhaps your darkness has come in the form of a painful loss, a chronic or terminal illness, deep loneliness, addiction, or perpetual anxiety and sadness. Whether you resonate with one of these categories or not, because you’re a human being, you know what it is to do battle with darkness.

There’s the darkness that keeps us from clearly seeing the path ahead, the haze of uncertainty as we make our way through the world. And there’s the darkness that keeps us from face-to-face encounters with God this side of heaven, calling us to rely on faith (1 Cor. 13:12). But in any darkness we face, I am certain we can learn to sing of hope. True, deep, unshakable hope that comes from knowing that God broke into our darkness, conquering it once and for all.

This reading plan is about more than just warbling a song—it’s about creating and practicing a mindset, one that I am convinced is the only way to walk through this life with joy in every circumstance.

We all long for wholeness. For perfection. So we do our best to avoid the brokenness within and around us. We block it out, or we turn up the noise of our busy lives to distract ourselves. We pretend the darkness doesn’t exist. We choose not to sing.

But what if we did? What if we sang songs of hope in our darkness? Of lament in our pain and brokenness but also of the coming wholeness? What if we sang of both our suffering and our coming glory? What if we sang of the eternal joy that will outlast and ultimately triumph over our sorrow? Wouldn’t such songs give us the hope and joy to overcome the darkness now?

Ignoring the darkness doesn’t make it light. Avoiding brokenness doesn’t bring redemption. But singing in the dark can heal us and change us. When our songs are directed toward God, the giver of song and healing, they ultimately bring us hope and joy. It takes courage to sing in the dark, especially in moments when our stories don’t make sense to us. When confusion and doubt overwhelm us. But this courage, it seems to me, grows as we sing.

If you’ve been singing your life’s songs in the darkness of sadness, physical suffering, self-doubt, or isolation, or if you simply want to learn to sing hope, no matter your circumstances, I invite you to join me as I share my story and we study the songs of Scripture. Together, we’ll embark on a journey that I pray and believe will help you experience the infinite hope and endless joy we’ve been promised in Christ.

Reflection: A “song” doesn’t have to have literal music. It is whatever is on repeat in your heart and mind. What “song,” good or bad, is playing over and over in your head? Ask God to teach you to sing His song of love and truth.

  10. Obidients: Vote Peter Obi if you want a better future for your kids.

Me: Anambra that voted him as two-term governor, how are they doing now?
Using the capital Awka as a case study.

Are you really asking us to vote for someone who failed woefully as the governor of Anambra? Someone that you can't show any of his lagacy or capital projects in Anambra for 8 years?

The only reason why you want to force him down our throats is because you feel it's the turn of Igbos to rule. Nothing more. Not competency.

    2. Eesah, please rest. I will rather waste my vote on 'useless' Peter Obi than give it to your Fulani brother Atiku or shaky shaky daddy Tinubu. If you want to be truthful to yourself, you will agree that it's the Igbos' turn to rule. Go and knack your head if you no wan gree.

As for Peter's achievements, I can vouch for one. Anyone who used to travel to Anambra or oasis through it back then in the early 2000s,will remember how scary Upper Iweka was. Peter Obi actually cleared that den and made that place very safe. He introduced community vigilante and security in Anambra was at its all time high. Obiano spoilt that legacy.

  16. WCW:. I am celebrating all women today including my able mum..love you all.

Also, parents should be careful of the information their children pass across to them. Do not allow your child makes you punish the wrong person.

I am not saying you shouldn't take action but find out the truth before over-reacting towards any issue.

A girl of 18years has just come out to say the truth, that she lied on a man who was sentenced to twenty years in prison with hard labour over rape.

She was 10years of age then..can you imagine the trauma..

We parents also should be careful and teach our wards to make sincerity their watchword.

My question is, if you are the one, how is will it be for you to forgive such family?

  18. The most frausturating times in most people's life is waiting:
Imagine waiting an hour at the bustop for a taxi.
Waiting for a friend at a garden for hours.
Waiting for a promised alert that will change your life.
Waiting to get married to your soulmate.
Waiting to concieve and give birth to that lovely baby.
    Waiting to get a job.
    Waiting for a divine healing.
Generally, waiting especially when the expected result seems to have delayed for a little while. You feel pain, uneasy and sometimes depressed. The good news is that when the desires turn to reality, all the pain and agony of waiting turns to joy.
May everything we are waiting for which seems to have delayed be delivered into our hands speedily so that our joy will be full in Jesus name.

You were asked why and you said no money as an okada man and your wife just gave birth. Someone requested you go to a government school to know how much it will take for her to be enrolled. Two weeks gone without feedback. The person went without informing you and got the exact amount and requirements which is less than N13k. You came last night to say you have found out and everything is 60k. It is obvious you don't want that girl to go.to school. Why are we like this for Christ sake?.. It's well.

I mean uniforms, notebooks, registration which cost a sum, if in Lagos they even require affidavit, socks and sandals plus school bag, water bottle because that child wouldn't be given "break money" so they need at least, to take water from home.

    2. One logical reason I can suggest would be, the siblings have similar genetic makeup, eat almost the same diet and are exposed to the same environment and vectors, that is, disease carrying organisms.
so the likelihood that they fall sick around same period is high.

  61. Good morning Stella and beautiful people. Yesterday was tough in my workplace. A teacher was suspended.
What happened is that a parent came to report her. She has the habit of looking at the pupils' food and commenting on them. That was how she 'miscommented' on Monday.
She told this particular girl to tell her mum that she should not give her burnt omelette (fried eggs) again, she said her mum is always over-frying the eggs and they get burnt, that it is not nutritious that way. That was how the angry mama stormed the school yesterday.
Meanwhile, other parents had lodged different complaints about this teacher with the school management, ranging from beating the pupils to insulting them in class.
As a teacher, especially in private a school, advice yourself biko.
Belated birthday to you Teacher NK.

    1. Well deserved suspension. Imagine! What is her business with the type of food that a parent gives her child?

I celebrate my mum today! It's her birthday and she just survived a major life threatening surgery. Gall bladder stone. Liver surgery. God be praised for her life. May she live long to reap the fruits of her labour in Jesus name, Amen!
