Fraudsters Nabbed In Front Of A Bank While Waiting For Their Victim To Withdraw Cash

On Friday November 18, 2022, a bank cashier noticed that a 64-year old customer was fidgety, receiving repeated calls and was in a hurry to withdraw N600,000. The cashier asked what the problem was and the woman said she would die if she talked.

Police officers from Ogudu Division were quickly contacted and it was discovered that three fraudsters waited outside for the woman and had been collecting money from her. Of the three fraudsters waiting outside, Uche Awaize 'm' aged 45 and Osadebe Aigbe 'm' aged 35 were arrested. The third suspect bolted.

It was revealed that the suspects had first collected N90,000 from the woman.

The third gang member has been declared wanted by the Police....

    1. I was a victim of this some years back. The silly cashier did not even notice jack, despite i was emptying my account and constantly checking the window area and staircase leading to the doorway. The customer that bumped into me on the stairs asked if I'm ok?! I almost spoke but couldnt. Since that time, i have learnt how to observe. People may be crying for help without words.
