ReplyDeleteThis is a man who was trolled and called all manner when he spoke out.
The “online inlaws association of Nigeria” came after him.
The backlash was terrible, most especially from the “brethren”.
I know that somehow and somewhere along the line,
Depression, shame, and anxiety crept in which can trigger all manner of ailments.
Mental health is real.
Slowly it creeps in, gradually and gently ravaging a being till it brings the person down completely.
He's gone !
Now everyone speaks good of him, (generation of pretenders), Tueh!.
Asides the word of God,
The Church and in the midst of your brethren should be where you find succor and draw strength from but sadly,
“Genuine love has gone cold in the body of christ”.
Who do we blame?
The same way I feel for Yul Edochie and pray he doesn't fall into Depression due to the backlash he's getting from world people simply because he made a mistake which he owned up to.
Meanwhile, the same world people do abominable things but have been able to conceal them from people to see.
What do I even know?

ReplyDeleteadaoluchi what is the business of the church here? did you not read where sammie himself said he needed to stay away to work things through? some of us who have know sammie long knows he has always had issues with stuff like that...if you are a minister of the gospel in authority over people you have to deal with certain issues in your life or they will bring disgrace to you. if that lady had not come out maybe he might not have retraced his steps and work out his life with God.. as christians we cannot continue to cover sins and allow it to fester...if you become born again, begin to deal with your weaknesses and ask God to help you..the people who dragged sammie was social media not the church...i know that incident made sammie really do an appraisal of his life and he made things right with God...he has been doing some ministrations before sickness took a hold of him.
ReplyDeleteas for yul he behaved wrong and as expected must be called out. it is sad that social media especially in the hands of these new generation of people have no boundaries and have resorted to bullying in the name of correction. i pray people will learn that when you are in the lime light you must be careful how you carry yourself and what you do.
