  1. The new 200 naira note looks like the current 500 naira note.

Hope some people that are unable to deposit the old 500 note won't start doing some wicked things with it.

You want to redecorate, you can't even be innovative about it.
Money that will soon be smelling ogiri ogiri when the cashier gives you from bank.

    2. We really don't listen do we?

The changes announced are in the higher denominations because those are the notes that were being hoarded.

    3. No need to redesign N100 note because people did not hoard it inside soakaway and coffins. Can N100 even buy anything again? I just tire for this country. I don't know why God did not answer my relocation prayers.

    1. I see most people have seen the not so funny tie and dye viral messages. Unfortunately, that is where most people get their gists, and run with it.

      No clarifications, no reasoning, nothing.

Redesigning by even the slightest shade is for a purpose. They needed those that had stacked billions to push them out.

They are trying to drive inflation down.

And they needed it to happen before the elections.

I'm worried for, and about us.

    2. Thank you 14:34. It just seems like Nigerians can’t be done right. We are so used to harsh conditions that even when it is made easy, we will grumble and make caricature of it. The saddest part is, people who have little or no knowledge on the situation starts the public propaganda and the public rubs with it. Including the intelligent and smart ones amongst us.

    3. 15:15,

      I'm exhausted.

Someone in the comments section spewed something about the currencies Snelling in no time, I responded, and someone that's clearly still wet in banking typed a reply to that.

I didn't have the energy to give a detailed analysis.

Hopefully, one day, we will look at issues analytically.

    4. So you that is dry in banking @15:56 what is the intelligent analysis you have propounded? Instead of focusing on the comments of people you and your fellow 'intelligent' lot think are intellectually inferior, how about you join in the conversation with your riveting takes and intelligent spell binding analysis?
