Crooner Seun Kuti Body Shames Nigeria's 1st Lady Aisha Buhari And Dares Her To Arrest Him...

Hmmmm.....Seun Kuti seems to be angry with everything wrong in Nigeria but this so wrong to be insulting the First Lady like this and BODY SHAMING HER, it is wrong!

A woman can suddenly get fat for various reasons!

Before calling people names, take a look in the mirror to guide you..

  1. Well, not a fan. Body shaming her won't alleviate the bad economy. Even fat ones, pot bellied, crooked legs, bulky arms, are supporting seun. It's safe to body shame you all too .

    2. She didn't arrest him because he called her fat. The charges were for libel but because he stated that she grew fat on Nigeria's money.
Except anyone can prove it(even if it is true, it is impossible to prove, since technically, logically and legally speaking, you can't gain weight by eating paper), it is defamation and it's is a chargeable offense.

    3. Rest, does that mean what she did was right?

  2. The moment that woman, una first lady arrested and tortures that boy based on such flimsy excuse, she started deserving whatever that comes her way.

Most people did not even know about that tweet until her Lord her majesty decided to abuse someone because she has the power.

Now she's being ridiculed everywhere. Serves the boy right and also serves her right.

    1. God bless you.
Personally I wouldn’t have noticed her weight gain if not for the arrest of that young man. When did people start arresting others because they were referred to as fat ? That’s an abuse of power.
In as much as God decided to teach that boy a lesson for supporting evil, let’s no forget that Aisha action was uncalled for. Besides she’s truly fat. Make we dey talk true

    2. If you don't know anything, don't come out to embarrass yourself..

Seun has no achievement to his name? You must be kidding..

You must think music ends with just only hip hop and RnB.. start with researching on the few Nigerians that have been nominated for the Grammies..

Many of you don't know music, as Una never attend real music shows, where music instruments are played live, you're all used to the DJ playing the song with the artistes lip singing LOL..

The day you'll attend a real music show, you'll be so mad with yourself for making this comment

    3. Did I hear that baba Fela is a gentle man?. It's ok

  4. Well...he didn't lie but she started it by arresting a boy who called her fat instead of facing the numerous atrocities caused by her nepotic husband and illiterate govt.

Went to Dubai for months on end for NO REASON at the expense of the taxes of honest Nigerians. Celebrated her birthday with the shameless gov's wives who BTW travelled to Dubai with taxpayers money as well.
But Let's forget all that and focus on the fact that's she is being bodyshamed...that's the problem. 🙄😒

  8. She should just be wise and try not to go after this one. Some people are so angry with the bastardised economy that they are ready to go prison. If she arrest him more insults might crop up

  9. Well she deserves whatever is thrown at her.
A social media comment made her throw a boy in jail, she is power drunk.
If that boy was otedola's son would she dare?
    F**k naija politicians!

  10. But for real how did she get so humongous?? She’s now super morbidly obese, she should better proceed to go on a weight loss journey bc being this huge would definitely come with a plethora of health issues.

And if I were the one with access to all that wealth, I’d have a nutritionist, dietician, chef and personal trainer with a fully equipped home gym on deck. I’d only eat the best and most nutritious foods, have a strict work out regimen and just be looking my best. But these people once they jam small money, it’s to be hosting constant parties, be eating like gluttonous pigs everyday and swelling like chia seeds that they know. Sad

    1. On whose expenses?? I guess we Nigerians will pay for the gym, personal trainer, dietist and nutritionist! Nigeria is finished.

    2. Why don't you ask if that is a healthy fat? Do you not think she is on some medications? I was once placed on morphine and all sort of pain killers and I put on a lot of weight. I just started loosing the weight now. I'm not a fan of any yeye nigetian politician and their family but let's try to educate ourselves a bit.

    3. Her weight gain could be health related, not all people are fat because of what they eat.

  11. Omo me I don't understand the over sensitivity and giving a name to everything of this present generation..

    Some slim is called slim
    Someone short is called short
Someone with pot belle is called pot bellied
What's now the body shaming in calling a FAT woman Fat?

Is Fatness a disability? Is its blindness, deafness, being crippled etc etc that's different.. but wetin be this one again

    Abeg abeg

  12. she may have a medical issue so its not funny insulting her like that ...I dont care for her person but lets try and stop distracting ourselves with all this rubbish ..as someone who struggles with weight I find this offensive

  14. Weight gain happens a lot with medication, menopause and hormonal imbalances for women her age. The body shaming is wrong. I would venture to say she is not suddenly gorging herself with food that she has always had access to. Her face says something is off and her condition is not due to overeating.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wow...I'm really disappointed by the comments justifying body-shaming.

Obviously, those justifying it haven't experienced it before. I have been experiencing it on a daily basis in the last few weeks and it isn't even funny.

While I am not excusing what the first Lady did, is it right for someone to sit behind a keypad and insult his elders? What proof does he have that she gained weight as a result of her privileged position? If Aisha Buhari wasn't First Lady or a popular figure, would we also criticize her for arresting someone who not only body-shammed her but also accused her of 'embezzlement'?

Please let's ignore the fact that the boy wrote some 'flimsy' things about her and reflect on what we would do if we are in the same position.

PS: This post isn't only because I understand what body-shaming does to people. It is also because I am totally against people using SM as an excuse to loose their sense of decorum. If you can't insult someone to their face, then you shouldn't do it online, whether the person is a politician or not.

  18. A guy with a dead music career wants to be relevant. You will be neglected, you are a nobody. For the idiots supporting this know that your freedom doesn't give you the rights to be insulting people. Aisha is a Nigerian with rights too. Your freedom is not absolute. This fool's father was arrested severally and his house burnt nothing happened. Someday he mess with the wrong person

    1. Always so aggressive and insultive.
One would think that as an elderly person, your speech would be seasoned with grace and wisdom, but no, always so uncouth, crass and abusive.
You can't even convey your thoughts in a mature, logical fashion. Shameful.
The person you are insulting so violently at least has made far more impact socially than you.
