We have read stories like this so many times and every time it leaves one in shock...
The Tweet says....
''Ok! So this woman in my area just discovered that her husband for years is a spirit!! They’ve got 3kids yo!!! Jesus Christ!
She said she got pregnant for him while they were dating. Then they moved to my area. He bought a land and built a house. His neighbors said he doesn’t
speak to anyone except his family. And he always walk alone.
So now after 3kids, she started demanding aggressively to see his family. He said they were in the village that he will take her there. He then gave her lots of money to go to the market to buy things they would take home to his family.
He would always get in. And when she asks, he will say the door was not locked. She opened his wardrobe and it was filled with money. She took the money and left with the kids. And put the house up for sale.
Oh I guess I mistakenly deleted a tweet, were I tweeted that when she got back from the market, she met a note he wrote apologizing for his absence and his address in the village. She traveled to the east with the kids, located his house and explained who she was but…
They said it wasn’t possible cos he died 2yrs before she gave birth to their first child. And they showed her his grave. I donno how I missed this part. I swear I tweeted it.
Spirits can't impregnate or really begin to do things like humans naaaau. That's what movies teach. It's not true. So the children are half spirit and half human? The story is not clear. Spirits can't live in this physical world like humans. They need d human flesh to exist''

ReplyDeleteThis same story was in The Punch Newspaper many years ago na. A news reporter covered the story. Two or three pages of the story sef. With a picture of the woman and her kids. I can never forget that story.

So there's this church (name withheld like pinky) I and one of my friend then use to attend the week day deliverance and miracle service once in awhile as we no kuku dey go Sunday church service.. so you know now, after prayers people do come and give testimonies..
Yea, sometimes I have doubts and try to look deep into these people to see if they're lying or not, lol.. even though I keep seeing these testimonies and I know must of them to be true cos back in secondary school, my elder sis best friend who was Sickle cell became AA in a gospel church (name withheld 🙄) too, but you know nah, the flesh go still dey doubt,. However, I don't say these doubts out..
But you see this my friend, lol.. na werey.. when we were leaving from the church one day, in the car, he was telling me that next time we attend, we'll trace one of these people that came out to make a shocking testimony, (like the one walking with crutches and stopped using it in the service),. That we'll trace them to wherever they are living and ask people around where they stay to confirm if truly this person has always been walking with crutches before now..
We agreed we'll do it when we have the time, only for this boy to start believing in miracles before the next week program oh, he was even the one calling to remind me about it so we'll attend, na so I ask my guy wetin dey sup, him say the two things wey him ask God for that day don become reality and that there was no way the two things could have happened so easily like that.. lol,. After a while he wanted to say abi it's just coincidence, the kind eye wey I take look am ehn.. lol..
So, my Gee,. Mysterious things happen.. the world itself is a mystery

Lol. I don't know if spirits can impregnate or not. But I have been touched by a ghost and it feels exactly like a human touch, so there is that.
ReplyDeleteWe were taught that Mary got pregnant through the Holy spirit, who knows if the unholy spirit can also impregnate. The only thing satan supposedly isn't permitted to do is take life. We also learned that angels had relations with earth women causing giants to be born. Angels do not have genders or penises, they are not human, so how those children were conceived. As bizarre as this story is, we accept other bizarre stories as facts because they happened ages ago. Perhaps a women truly does not need sperm to conceive a child. Maybe conception can be self induced or spirutually intiated from the other realms.

What you have stated may all be true, but the main point is women have been getting pregnant since time immemorial without the need for sperm or a man, and the children are taking on human form. So life is far beyond what we know it to be.

ReplyDeleteI think this is called Akudaya in Yoruba. In Islam, it is called jinn. That is, an evil spirit or demon that dwelled in the late person will take on the physical form of its host after death.
ReplyDeleteMy mum left home one day to the market. She came home with joy,gisting us on how she met a long time friend that she had not seen in a long time. She said the odd thing about the encounter was that the lady refused to exchange numbers and address. She assumed it was cuz she was in a hurry and in a public space. Not long after that,she ran into the lady's sister and demanded for the number and address of her friend. The lady's sister looked at my mum like she was mad. She told my mum her sister had died two years ago. My mum laughed and said it's a lie cuz she saw her just two weeks before and they even hugged each other. The sister showed my mum pictures of her burial and burial poster on her phone. My mum said she felt like her head was about to swell up and burst. She came home and went into serious fasting and prayers for touching and talking to a spirit. This incident happened in Cele Market, Lagos.
Well, from what some ppl have stated non-religiously. There are a vast amount of spirits and they are all around us, with all different personalities and temperaments. The spirit world is larger than the human world they have said, an uncountable number. Who knows
