I cant share her number or her email but i will send her the link of yesterday and todays in house news so that she can read it in her spare time...

She says to tell you all that she misses you guys in the comment section.

Please send in your chronicles because the folder remain small make empty...

I am still testing different BVs for the post of a PA and it has been quite interesting to note that some people don't know what an entertainment story entails. I want to choose someone whose life i will change for the next one year...I will be the best thing that ever happened to you....

That anonymous who always makes a comment always trying to put me in a bad light, please i hope by next year, you will stop commenting here? Or are you addicted to this blog but you are a hater?

Waju can you collate names for the data giveaway? it will even be easier.. if this is OK by you then i will do a post on this tomorrow for BVs to contact you for data and tell you how many to select.....

What else? In this life, don't ever think that someone can not do without you cos when you walk away, the show gets better... Stay humble #noshades

For the face of in house news competition, we will rest it for now until further notice and move on to something more intellectual. let me prick your brains....

We will be addressing various issues and would title it as MY VIEW..... The ones with best write up and best response will win a prize of 20k...I will only take 3 entries per column per month.. it will start running in 2023... writeup must be devoid of swear/cuss words and not defaming or maligning the subject of discussion..... Libel free content.

Have a nice day........Those about to eat Jollof rice with plantain and chicken stew today, make una fear God oh...LOL

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN/MAN GOING THROUGH PARENTHOOD.

This column is now open to everyone who is a mother or father or has tried to parent kids...
Send in different topics for us to read and discuss.....like the former writer used to do.. She says she needs a break to attend to some personal issues and i really liked that column cos it discusses kids and how to cope so i will go ahead and try to change the format to include everyone.....Men also.

It is no longer a one person column and i will also throw in my own.... If you send in we will include your BV ID if you want to show its you..... Chike you are a new dad, how does it feel? Open the floor of the new column for us...send in what's going on in your mind and the changes to your life with your son...
Lets go!

WISDOM NUGGETS

from the 24th chapter of the book of Proverbs.

- You should have a goal to build a happier life, not just a fulfilled life. To do this, you will need wisdom because it won't happen on its own. To be WISER, you need to be a student. It takes much digging for you to know what makes you happy.

- Intelligence and wisdom outranks muscle any day. Learn to manage your egos because egos bigger than countries usually leads to war. To win in marriage, business, and life in general, you need a lot of good counsel.

- Peace time is not the only indicator of a wise person. Infact, a wise person is detected more when they are in conflict. When you are in conflict, that is when your wisdom shows. So what are you made of? How do you respond to conflict? Remember that wisdom says when you fall to pieces in a conflict, perhaps, there was wasn't much to you in the first place.

- Do not allow wisdom become a chore to you. Catch yourself when you want to take the short cut to knowledge. Allow wisdom to become like a delicacy that melts in your mouth. Remember that attention is dependent on interest. So what are you interested in?

- Do not think that as a God-loyal person, you are exempted from being beaten-down. NO. What you are exempted from is staying down. In 2023, life will come with its ups and downs, learn to always pick yourself up and move on. This the mark of a wise person.

  2. Divine Health Confessions!!

In Christ, I have authority over the elements of this world and I exercise dominion over my body. I declare that my body is the Lord’s temple and sickness is not allowed in or around it. Any sick person who comes to me recovers because I carry God’s healing power.

  5. Public Holidays
Public holidays are work-free days set apart to mark an event of significance in the history of a nation, a people, or the world.
In Nigeria, we mark public holidays by staying off work. One cannot deny the fact that citizens are stressed by the economic and political activities in the country. It is therefore believed that a public holiday should provide an opportunity for relaxation, and staying away from the hustle-bustle of everyday life.

But The Guardian stated that things are different in our environment:

"The public holiday carries a burden with it. It simply shuts down business and prevents certain important actions from taking place.
Any day government shuts its door to business a lot of things suffer. Discussions are stalled. Payments are stalled. Money does not flow. It is sad but that is the reality of our situation."

It has been reported that Nigeria loses billions of naira as a result of multiple public holidays declared in a year.

Here is how Hope Eghagha summed it up in her article:

"Our national economy requires a state of emergency declaration. Millions of people who otherwise have no business with Government are compelled to depend on the whims and caprices of the ruling government. I should make it clear that all over the world Government spending is crucial to the survival of the economy. The point is that the government should rise above the level of frivolity in declaring public holidays and how they should be marked. In sum, no work day should be declared a public holiday if the original date falls on a weekend. We did it before and we can do it again as part of the desired change in our country!"

In conclusion, extension of public holidays impacts our economy negatively.

  21. A woman in modest dress, accompanied by her husband, dressed in a comfortable but cheap suit, got off a train at Boston Station and went to the Harvard University principal's office. They did not make an appointment.
"We'd like to meet with the school principal," the man said in a silenced voice.
"He'll be busy all day," the front desk officer answered. "We'll wait," the woman said.

The staff ignored the visitors for several hours hoping that at some point they would be disappointed and leave on their own. However, when they made sure that they wouldn't go anywhere themselves, she decided to harass the director and inform about their visit.
"Maybe if you accept them for a minute, then they'd rather leave? " she asked the director.

The director sighed angrily and agreed. As important as he is, he certainly does not have time to accept people dressed so modestly.
When the visitors entered, the director immediately measured them with his stern and arrogant gaze. The woman turned to him: "We had a son, he studied at your university for a year. He loved this place and was very happy here but sadly passed away a year ago unexpectedly. My husband and I would therefore like to leave some memory of him on the territory of this university."

The director was not happy about it at all, but on the contrary he was very irritated." Lady!" he replied impudently," we can't build monuments to everyone who studied at Harvard and died. If we did, it would soon be a cemetery."
" No, I didn't mean so", the woman quickly objected, "we don't want to build a monument, nor a statue, we want to build a new building for Harvard."

The director looked at the faded checkered dress and a cheap suit and exclaimed, "God, do you people have any idea how much such a building costs? All Harvard buildings are worth over seven million dollars together!"

The wife hasn’t said anything in a minute. The director had an ominous smile of joy. So they will see her out of here after all! But rather the woman turned to her husband and said quietly:
"Is it so cheap to build a new university? So why don't we build our own university?"
The man gave a nod in agreement. Harvard director faded and looked confused.

The Stanford spouses got up and left the office without further ado. In Palo Alto, California, they established a university that bears his name - Stanford University - in memory of their beloved son.

(Stanford University was founded by a train tycoon, US Senator Leland Stanford and his wife Jane Stanford. The university is named after their only late son, Leland.) ~ Wikipedia.

Leland Stanford, Sr. told his wife, "From now on, all the children in California will be like our own children".
