IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu’s Younger Brother Suspended Over Alleged Sabotage

Kingsley Kanu, the younger brother of the Indigenous People of Biafra’s (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has been suspended by the group for going against its code of conduct..

Collins Chinedu, the organization’s national coordinator in Germany, signed a statement announcing his suspension, on Monday, January 23.

According to the statement, Kanu engaged in a number of anti-IPOB operations intended to defame the organisation in Germany.

The separatist organisation charged Kanu with disobedience, establishing a second leadership in Germany; and breaking IPOB’s code of conduct.

Stressing that Kingsley Kanu was just an ordinary member of IPOB in Germany; IPOB said the accused was using his affiliation with its leader to gain “unmerited super advantage.”

“The lPOB leadership in Germany unanimously suspends Kingsley indefinitely from the family in Germany led by Nnamdi Kanu with effect from today, the 21st of January 2023,” the statement said.

IPOB specifically accused Kingsley of “Imposing and parading an expelled member; Ogbenna Abraham as the new National Coordinator in Germany; with the sole intent to cause division within the existing structure in Germany”.

The group said Kingsley must understand that the Biafra struggle is beyond anybody’s affiliation with its leader, Kanu.

“Mr Kingsley Kanu must, therefore, be reminded that further violations of the code of conduct will have serious legal consequences,” it warned.

  1. A cousin to Nnamdi Kanu and not a biological brother. IPOB isn't a family business. That was the message passed.

  3. Lol the message passed to me is what is happening in ipob is thesame as in Nigeria. Blacks can put their heads together there’s always a sellout, it’s mostly about self aggrandization and not leadership. Hence why naija is STILL the way it is today. Self sabotaging black people. Tueh
