  1. Your Exalted Place In Him!!
    Colossians 1:13.

    Excerpts!!

"Oftentimes, some Christians describe their encounters with demons and how they’re often oppressed by the powers of darkness. To such folks, the question that often comes to my mind is, “Who is Jesus? Didn’t He give us power over devils?”

"Here’s something I did many years ago that I recommend you do for yourself: get your notepad or diary and write as a title, “Why I have power over devils.” Then, get into the Bible and write out every scripture you can find about Jesus, who He is, and who you are in Him! You’d be amazed and inspired by what you’d discover about Jesus Christ, the power He’s given you, and your exalted place in Him. You’re in Him; inseparably one with Him."

"The most enthralling part of it all is that you’re in Him, gloriously enthroned with Him and exalted, far above every ruler, authority, government and realm of power in existence. Blessed be God!"

    Confession!!

I live in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son; that’s the realm into which I was born; a realm of glory, beyond time and space; the realm of the miraculous. I refuse to condescend to the earthly level of life or reasoning. I rule over demons and circumstances, dominating this physical world with the principles of our heavenly Kingdom. Hallelujah!

  5. GOD IS CONCERNED FOR YOU

'Give all your worries and cares to God.' 1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Doug Coldiron writes: 'I'm a trucker, and my Jack Russell Terrier, Dee Dee, rides shotgun on my road trips. We were playing fetch outside Atlanta when something caught her eye and she shot into the woods. I paced the perimeter calling her name. I alerted other truckers and searched until it was pitch black. Nothing. Eventually the others left; some said, "I'll pray for you." I wasn't so sure God was listening. I'd already been praying for hours. Next morning, I had to get on the road, and when I opened my laptop and pulled up my Facebook page, it was filled with postings: "We're praying for you." "Hang in there." "Trust God." I felt comforted; someone besides me was worried about my dog. If only I could get back to Atlanta soon! I thought about praying, "Lord, get me an assignment in Atlanta...NOW!" I knew that could take weeks, but when I clicked on my company website to check the destination for my next job...it was Atlanta! Could prayer be working? Next morning my cell phone woke me. It was Russ, the maintenance supervisor. "I saw your dog on my way to work."...I had to get to Atlanta! From the truck centre, Russ drove me to where he had seen Dee Dee. After searching for hours, I glanced over my shoulder...and there she sat on the doorstep of a house. She bolted over, and as I picked her up, I prayed, "Thank you, God."'

The Bible says, 'Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you' (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). Coldiron adds, 'Who knows what goes on in a dog's mind? One thing I know is we're never alone. God always answers prayer.'

    1. As a graduate, to the best of my abilities, I ensure that I get to work on time every single day, even on days when it rains in this Lagos and there are no buses and there are floods everywhere, I still get to work before 8;00am do my work diligently and dedicate my time to work.
Sometimes,I don't go for breaks because I need to cover up on some areas,I leave office sometimes 7pm with a migrain and swollen feet.
Yet what did we get last year October, the company had to close down our branch due to some issues they were facing .They paid us salaries in October and November but in December they paid us like quarter salary . Till now no information from them, they have not held any form of meeting with us to address the issue neither have they given us termination letters.

Most of us haven't gotten jobs till now. Is this how they terminate workers appointments without addressing them virtually or physically? Even if a company is closed down, are workers not entitled to 3 or 6 months salaries?
In this Buhari regime,am so tired and frustrated and discouraged right now, don't know how to survive in this situation or a system in a country like this.
I don't know if there is a Commission that treats this kind of issue in Lagos State .

    2. True. Especially private school teachers. Miss one day at work and miss 1000 from your less than 30k salary even if that is the first time you would be absent in more than a year. Appreciate that dedicated staff today. It is not easy to be consistently showing up on time for work especially if the salary is not even worth it. Chai!

NB: you can mobilize other trusted staff and you all can stage a protest, talk about them on social media, etc. You may have a headway but you can't do it alone.

There is fee drive in my school this morning. I wonder how many learners will be left for us to teach because up to 70% of them are owing. Some are still owing last term's fees. It is well.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Things are difficult no doubt but I will say a good number of people aren't intentional in life. You don't wait till there's a school fees drive before you pay your children fees. I know a family their children for once haven't been sent home. The parents pays the children fees even before the term starts. They made provisions already.

When you're intentional about a thing, you prioritise it and draw a plan for it.

      Delete
    2. Same with my kids school but we had already made part payment. I pleaded with the proprietress cos they said anyone that did not pay up to 70% will be sent home. God will help us.

      Delete
    3. Teejay you are right to some extent. Some parents don't plan for their kids fees.
For instance, last December, they bought Christmas clothes, shoes, etc, bought chicken and cooked delicious meals, travelled to another location, visited fun places, shared money to relatives, etc but forgot about children's school fees. We are not saying you should not enjoy but enjoy with sense, prioritise school fees above some frivolities.
Some will even buy aso ebi for party and leave school fees unpaid.

    4. My girls school started last week and I think its too early as parents are yet to collect January salary.I can't be them because they have to pay teachers salary too. It is well

I'm so relieved that deadline for the deposit of old naira notes have been extended by ten days.
Friday and Saturday, I was sad, business was so cold, wholesalers refused to sell to me in the market and Network was so bad to make transfers. POS people too said they have old notes for the normal charges, new notes were practically sold to customers. My customers too kept coming with old notes, the few that could make transfers, poor Network. The queue for ATM withdrawal in the few banks here were too long and some were not even dispensing.

Two days were like 100days. Ah God!

I pray the whole wahala stops this time.

That poster must be the annoying man with plenty "!!??" He was even saying they should buy s#x toys if they need intimacy as if marriage is all about s#x.
