ReplyDeleteI always crave for my wife's food. Na why I usually close from work fast to come home and consumes her food. She is smart, intelligent, and also hardworking too. For the fact that she cooks my meal, our love dey enter pro.
I love this. A good woman is a good woman. Keep loving her and always be there for her.

You fail to know that there are different realities existing in this same Earth we are on..There are men who have wives that don't slave in kitchen yet they love the wife denu l. My uncle is a perfect example of that. He even cleans more than his wife sef n I used to doubt that was possible but that's why it is good to travel n explore the world so u know that not only your own way is fact. They both work n the husband knows his wife doesn't like to strssherself standing too long in kitchen often so he takes it on himself happily when he comes home n sees she hasn't cooked due to exhaustion from work N

My aunt is like that sha..although she n husband dey abroad where u are too busy too find side chic. Maybe na why she dey flex.she works from home n the husband can come back from work n be asking what is there to eat..na so she go dey look her husband

E shock me at 1st but the thing is going good for them..n theh have grown kids in their teen years. That means the man is ok with that situation. The wife is ok pitching in financially so really it's not like she doesn't do anything I'm just shocked cus una go dey see some naij wives still work hard, be breadwinners n still come home to do chores as well. It was such a contrast

One funny reality is that, a good number of women who always chant onlne cooking doesn't keep a home are actually cooking for their husband and will do anything to protect their home. But you see that young single lady that will buy into that idea will be deceived and will learn the hard way.
Great, loving and caring women cooks for their husbands.

DeleteIf cooking doesn't keep a home, not cooking sure doesn't either. But data is more in favour of cooking especially in these trying times. Go figure! I guess she will be comfortable feeding her family with prepackaged food or food prepared with ingredients by those with questionable hygiene.

ReplyDeleteCooking can be a chore or a joy, it depends on the family dynamics. Growing up, I knew my mom got joy out of cooking for me, it was an expression of her love and I feel the same cooking for those I care about.
DeleteNow if the marriage is toxic and you are treated like a slave cooking will just be another act of servitude expected from a woman. It's not the cooking per se, but the entire energy of the relationship and the household. Good love makes cooking a joy.
Cooking is a life skill that helps one to manage both self and family. Being identified as a good cook increases your value in the union, because, so many differences will be settled at the dining table through the course of the relationship. When you relegate such important skill, as unimportant as it seems, that part will always be missing in the home ..There are many factors that makes a marital union sweet, and giving your loved ones good food is definitely one.
