''Please I need help. Stella please post, i need urgent advise. There's this woman that has promised me a job. She has failed me before but when you have no one, you still run back to the person.

She is a big woman in the state. She ask for my details, which I don't really trust her, so I want to keep bothering her and not relax cos she has ask for details

Please, I can't call her but can only text, how long interval should I text her? And what should I be saying. Asking or bothering people is not easy for me, but I'm over desperate.

Should I text her daily? Or every two days? Should I only be praying for her. Or keep telling her to remember me? Abeg make una help me, country hard. I can't miss this''

No please, do not send her messages every day, it can really be irritating.... Dont send prayers, thats not proper.... Just do her a reminder like once a week and let God do the rest..... Also do not hope on her alone, also send your CV to other places...

    How are we?
I'm here on the ATM queue to collect 5k that my sister sent to my mum. I pray money doesn't finish before my turn(no 103). I wanted to use POS, they charge 1000 for 5k. That 1000 will buy bread and tea for both of us. I don't know what our people are like this. I heard that they now give them the money free of charge inside the bulk room of the banks since they started arresting bankers that sell money.

They are not buying the money anymore yet some greedy ones are still charging exorbitant charges. It's God that will judge them.

    5. Teemah g, POS agents are still buying cash here. They don't get enough cash in the banks. Those who cannot buy will not make much, they only do transfers which doesn't pay much.
Even at that, the profit they put on the cash they buy is too much. They buy 100k for 5000, that means 10k for 500
why can't they sell 10k for 1k at most, they can sell 1000 for 100 and make 5000 on the 100k but no, greediness will not allow them.

  26. No matter how people try to blame the masses, I will still put the blame on govt for trying to go ‘cashless’ without making sure everything is in place for such a policy.

Some days ago, my younger brother called me to help him transfer 1k to someone he bought food from since his own bank wasn’t going through and I use a different bank. I tried too and my own app sef refused to work. I started panicking because of fear of what they may do to my brother for eating and not paying. Thankfully it wasn’t cooked food but raw spaghetti. He just returned it and went on his way.

This same brother of mine was stranded in Ajah where he went to work on his music production stuff and could not go home because there was just no place to get money to go home. He had to wait till Monday to try the bank. Ofcourse, that was also unsuccessful. He ended up using N600 to buy 2k just to get home.

Over the weekend, I bought some cement and iron rods which they had delivered and I spent hours desperately trying to transfer the money to my brother unsuccessfully. Thankfully it was from someone in our street that was willing to wait.

I saw that post from Kelvin Edo Boi and I just shook my head. No matter how y’all paint it, Nigeria hasn’t put the necessary tools in place for a cashless society.

Y’all scream that other sane countries are doing it but dyu know everything is in place for this? We don’t operate a danfo system here but there’s only govt recognized buses with cards for prepaid payment.

Would have kept citing examples but I don tire Abeg.

My parents are no longer lamenting that they do not have money but now they have money but they don’t have access to it.

After several years of looking for job and something to do, my brother finally started a POS business that was starting to do well, only for Emefiewere and his lunatic master Buhari to start to ruin that again.

Posterity will definitely judge these ppl for this immense hardship and also judge those still going to vote this same party that has caused untold hardship to the citizens.

    2. @ Joy , you are the only reasonable person on this matter! This government did not create jobs for Nigerians! This POS business has helped a lot of jobless people, but my dear I call him Goatmefiele! The guy is a goat! And Buhari is an evil pharaoh that God will punish , if he is really Buhari sef. I will let you know that is the global elites that is using Bill Gates to advice countries to go cashless! This is so shameful, as they have destroyed small businesses, same thing they use Covid to accomplish in western county.I don’t keep my money in the bank! Because what they will do next is they will crash the global banking system and everyone will lose their money, then they will start issuing digital currency! They will tell you how much you can collect! If you have lump sum in the bank, once things regularize just go use your money to buy assets! It is well! I am even scared of going back to the US right now! The Ohio chemical explosion was deliberate! The Turkiye and Syria earth quake was not natural! NATO countries told their ambassadors to leave Turkey 2 days before the earthquake! A lot is going on right now! We pray everything goes to normal by Monday In Nigeria and there is no revolution. Now they will buy votes with 500 naira because people are hungry! It is well!!! They actually did this to strangulate the masses before election! Because the thieving politicians still have access to their bankers! God will punish Buhari and Emefiele up to their 10th generation and Tinubu and Atiku will not smell that seat in Jesus Mighty Name!!! Amen

  27. The POS people in my area are just too stupid for my liking..the charges is too much I swear.

See people running to me to ask if I have cash. They are angry over me collect normal charges. I only had 70k today and I gave 5k each to every customers and charged #200 for 5k.

It's annoying seeing people suffer cuz of their money..I didn't buy the money so why will I make excess gain from the 70k. This was what I explained to someone who asked me why I'm not charging excessively like other POS operators.

No business tomorrow cuz I no see money collect since I finished the 70k with me...

  28. Hello everyone. How has your week been going? E ku imura election o.

Since the beginning of this cash wahala and low sales, I am constantly looking for new things to try in order to cut cost. In my customer's shop last month, I saw cocoyam powder packaged neatly in small nylons and I bought two for trial as soup thickener.
It came out very fine as if I actually boiled and mashed cocoyam to thicken my soups. I use it for egusi, ogbono, okro, white soup, etc.
I just take half of the content in the nylon , mix with water into a paste and pour it in my pot of soup. The soup increases by almost half๐Ÿ˜†.

I now bought one dozen for resell and started pushing it to my customers to buy. They tried it and came back for more. Now I sell it well together with egusi and ogbono. It's so cheap, just #200 per pack.
We shall all survive this Nigeria any which way.

  29. You guys would not believe what I saw today.
So I went to eat at a kilimanjaro branch.
I saw their food counter still full at COB which was quite strange.
I got to the counter and the first thing I heard before I could speak was:
    "We only accept cash."
    Ahn ahn!!
    "What happened to your POS?"
    They said not working.
I said can I transfer to your official bank account number?
    They said not working.
    "The second bank account number?"
That one too is not working
They said when people transfer they don't recieve it on time, so they were not accepting transfers too.
These people preferred to turn people away and allow their food remain unsold than to recieve money transferred late.๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
That's how they were turning people back one after the other.
Anyway I had a bit of cash so I bought my food.
Through out that time I was there, there was only one other person inside eating.
On the way out I asked "What happens to all this food here, it's so much."
The lady serving behind the counter shrugged๐Ÿคฆ‍♀️.
The most painful thing? Most of the food that they don't sell, most of the eateries THROW IT AWAY, they don't even give it to their staff.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The reason why some of these eateries insist on cash is so they can sell the cash to POS agents. The woman doing POS on my street buys cash from eateries. She buys 100k for 5k

      Delete
    2. Fuel stations, big wholesale stores, pharmacies , etc also sell cash to POS agents
