Actress and Movie maker Funke Akindele has moved on after losing her deputy gubernatorial ambition at the polls on Saturday March 18, 2023.....

She has deleted all political materials from her Instagram account and is set to focus on her movie making business...

    I just don't think she was as committed as her principal. It would have been more effective to put in more elbow grease and really sell her ticket but it's good that those of us who enjoy her work will have her baack on the screen.

    PDP godfathers (Bode George) sabotaged and dumped Jandor/Funke for GRV who was in PDP. They threw their weight & resources behind GRV & left Jandor in the cold. A lot of youths who thought Lp was “not PDP/APC) were very naive, not realizing they were voting indirectly for PDP.
