DIARY OF A PREGNANT MOM

Some days ago, I woke up quiet early and decided to snuggle back in bed for some minutes and then I felt the first kick and I was startled and as I was still trying to make sense of the whole thing, I felt it distinctly three more times.

I was shocked!
It was my baby kicking, it was hard to believe I would experience that quite early but I know what I felt.

Immediately I felt it, this strong wave of love filled my heart and that moment every crankiness, grumpiness and negative emotions just melted away.

My baby went from “it” to “baby” to me. I am so in love with the new life growing inside me.
I have started enjoying my pregnancy and I have become excited about this whole process.
Even the bad days don’t look bad anymore, I am so looking forward to my next scan so I can take a peek at my little cutie.

I am even more excited than my first pregnancy. I checked online to see if it was possible to feel baby kicks that early and there are a lot of reported cases.

Baby boom to all those waiting on the Lord to carry their own babies too.

WOW.. congrats... so you passed the butterfly in the stomach stage? The first time i felt that one eh, i nearly fainted oh, I was so shocked....
My first Bambino used to kick in my tummy so hard, kai...
I wish everyone here baby dust.....

PINKYS CORNER

Is the wife stingy, wicked or what do you think?

We were discussing an issue yesterday about women and their ways of life. We all know that, some women are self-centred, no matter how much you care for them but I believe every woman has her mumu button.

A man was complaining bitterly about his wife having over 200k in her bank account which he never knew about(this said man is a generator repairer and is good at what he does). He said, their refrigerator at home was faulty and they needed just 40k to repair but he was koboless because he just paid his childrens school fees for 3rd term in advance because he hates to see his kids sent home for inability as a father to pay their school fees(3 pikins ooo).

So, he said, he went back home on Monday around 12pm to pick something his wife would had already gone to her shop, on getting home, he saw the wife's phone ringing right on the table and he was surprised and thought she was still home not knowing she forgot the phone at home, then he called someone at her shop in order to speak to his wife. The wife told him, she had misplaced her phone , then baba said he hung up and picked her phone up, while he was going through all the missed calls, he saw a message from the bank , showing her account balance was in green but she keeps saying she had nothing with her.

The man said and I quote "shishi mi o ni fun mo" because she has never helped him pay for rent , feeding of the kids or their school fees, down to her shop, he was the one who footed the bills , I felt so bad but what can I say, I just kept mute to allow the ones who are old enough in marriage to talk. Then a man said, if he was the one, from that moment, everything in that house will be 50/50 . So, all through the discussion, I kept mute and was listening and learning at the same time. He also said, since then, his wife has been trying to impress him but nothing can be done again because he is so surprised at that attitude.

My question is, why do some women act like that? is it wickedness or what? I'm so confused because I had wanted to bring up the issue when I got home in order to know her stand on this but I later felt it's not important, so as not to make her feel some how because I know she is not the kind of person.

My wife prefers to go hungry because of me but thank God reverse is the case now..She was there all through hmmmmm

Its not a matter of women, some people have stinginess in their genes..What about the men that have money hidden but allow their wives carry all the load at home financially?

    Glad your family is fine.
Pinky, until you hear the wife, don't run into conclusion.
Why I said this is because she is a business person.
Most people that do buy and sell, buy on credit and remit as they sell off.
Sometimes, they collect soft loans from family and friends and pay back within stipulated period.
Except for big scale biz, Small scale biz can't have 200k just chilling in the account.
There are always goods to buy and sell or buy and store.
So until you hear from her, you can not conclude.
Tell the man to have a talk with his wife about it.

That man that said 50:50... People that go about destroying marriages meanwhile in their homes, they can't say pim

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But is it not 200k? I dunno sha. What if she's been saving the money for rainy days? I don't know any woman that doesn't have any money saved somewhere. Most times when things are really hard at home, it's the women that save the whole family. Some don't tell their husbands cos they will insist on spending it. Some men🀦
If I know how I struggled to gather 200k, I'm not using any 40k to repair fridge o. All of us will drink ordinary water. What if the man doesn't give her money and she struggled to save it with her small business?
      Na dem sabi abeg

      Delete
    2. Exactly HF. The man has ran to outsiders for advice and most have encouraged him on what will hurt his marriage. He knows his wife but chose to be deaf and blind.

Most men once you start something to support them it becomes your task to do, they completely wash off their hands from that responsibility.

Men learn to have a financial discussion with your wife monthly. You both will plan and act accordingly. Understanding breeds support and trust in a union

      Delete
    3. How much is 200k that a small business owner cannot have in her account? You don't know if she wants to use it to restock. Do you even know how much a provision shop owner spends when they go to the market to restock, Let alone seller of shoes, bags, clothes and other bigger stuff?
Pinky did not say what she sells and how big the shop is but 200k is not a big money for a shop owner. It can be for someone that does dropshipping or small business that runs from home or a small kiosk and petty traders on the roadside.

      Delete
    4. 200k that three customers can transfer for buying of stuff?

      Delete
    5. True Fidel.

      Anon 16:04 and 16:54
My point is, the money might be meant for something and not shear refusal to support her husband or the home front.
Moreover, much of her money might be going into supplementing feeding cost and many other petty expense which the man might not have considered.
So him drawing conclusions from seeing 200k in her acct dosen't make sense.
The money might be for her biz

  14. Good day beautiful people. Morayo, thanks for answering my question. As a local girl that's experienced and seen lots about life, it's 'usually' not easy for 'some' women to leave an abusive relationship.

I have a friend who's in an abusive marriage, she's enduring and has refused to let anyone talk her out of the marriage. I stopped disturbing her the day she told me her husband smokes codely, people don't know.

Back then in the area, some babes will be panelbeated by their boyfriends, yet they'll stay put because their d game Is topnotch

Why do 'some' married women leave their good husband for area boys. Sometimes you'll wonder if they're jazzed. Nobody jazzed them, it's the d

Them say people wey dey take h*rd drugs or smoke are the best in bedmatics and womb shifting, their women hardly leave.

  38. Pinky , concerning that your story. How can a Nigerian living in Nigeria in this period see his wife's account balance and conclude that all the money in it belongs to her and can be used for the home? Somebody that owns a shop? That money may be her business funds sent to her by customers for payment. We all know that most people now pay via transfer as a result of limited cash flow in the country.
