    If you grow up in hard times, you will automatically do one of these two things: (1) Trust God more because you have experienced his faithfulness. (2) Worry, think and incessantly talk about the 'what ifs' in life. And there are lots of 'what if's' to think about, because the future rests in God's hands and not yours. It's possible for a thing to seem much bigger to you than it really is. That's the essence of worry. It's like a snowball; it starts small, but as you roll it over and over in your mind, it becomes bigger and bigger until it has the potential to bury you.

    What's the answer? 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding' (Proverbs 3:5 NKJV). Fill your heart with God's word. Then develop the habit of letting what's in your heart be more real to you than what you see, think or feel. You can choose to think about what God can do instead of what you cannot do. If you continue to obsess about the difficulty of your situation, you will end up in despair. In other words, you will feel trapped. When that happens, it's easy to panic and begin to do irrational things that just make the problem worse. Instead, 'Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken' (Psalm 55:22 NIV). The word 'sustain' means to strengthen, support and hold you up. God may not take you out of the situation immediately, but his sustaining grace will bring you through it.

      I traveled to be with my parents because of this cash scarcity. I can't imagine my parents going to cue up at the bank like this.

      I went to the bank with my dad the other day. I went very early to cue up on my dad's behalf and by 6 am I was at the bank premises and names written was 100 + already and my number was 115.
      After writing his name, I quickly went to another bank to secure space for my self. My dad came by 9qm and stood in the cue according to his number. I thought about how long he would stand there plus his health condition. Ah! I couldn't bear the thought. I left where I was to his bank. With the cluster of people at the entrance of the bank, I managed to create way for myself to reach the staff at the entrance who was calling names written in the sheet of paper. I went straight to the staff that was calling names in the list and told him to allow my dad in. I was surprised that nobody challenged me for what I did and my dad was still in the cue when I went to meet the staff. When I told him about my dad he said 'let him come now' ah! I said this is a miracle. I quickly went to call my dad and he was asked to go in. God bless the staff and the other customers that allowed me to chance them. I was saying excuse me, excuse me, excuse me... until I got to the front where the staff is and nobody stopped me. They were all creating space for me to pass like say I get one kind better appointment with the manager. Nobe say i get big body o. No be juju be that?

      My parents can't be going through this process in order to get cash please. How can one be outside the bank for a long time just to get cash?
