    1. This is insulting of the person elected. He is reported to have done grassroots campaign too. And has he failed?

Such a person if he knows what is good for his political career can turn out to be better in sharing with the electorate.

    2. Stop making uninformed comments based on comments you read online. The person that won campaigned and solicited for support at the grassroot level. He did not sit at home and fold his hands waiting for it to drop on his laps. Even the governorship candidate has been active campaigning for Labour, visiting radio stations, YouTube content creators etc. If he wins tomorrow, you'll say it's Re:Banky

    3. What the hell do you mean
Must banky win because he is a celeb
Have you researched the person who won the position or the work he has done?
You will just open your mouth …waaa… and say rubbish.
We need to end godfatherism in Nigeria or we won’t get forward, you people never learn, he may be a good man but he can’t work when his hands are tied, dint we learn anything from osibanjo?

  5. That is it. Everyone is tired of their tactics. Stop romancing people only when you need their help. The moment you get what you want, you are no longer approachable. Shior.

    3. Anon 15:59, he/she will believe it o. They will go and vote based on tribe and line up to collect giveaway from givers and bloggers that are not from their tribe. They won't remember tribe when it comes to free data or giveaway or help. To say that the candidate is not Yoruba because his mother is Igbo, even though his father is Yoruba and the city hall in Lagos was even built on their family land, is the most stupid things to have come up during this election. Even FKK that started the rumor married an Igbo wife. Are his sons then Igbo? If yes, why did Snow-white have to drag him for years to see her Non-yoruba sons?

    4. You are a racist and a tribalist. FYI, I am Yoruba and my entire immediate family are Obedient. Come Saturday, we are voting GRV. Is Sanwo-Olu even a Lagosian?

    5. Keep voting based on tribal sentiments, when there are issues we will all suffer it, no one will ask you your tribe before you are giving better treatment in the hospital Incase of emergencies.
Vote whoever you want but vote because that’s who you believe I’m not because of your tribe or you feel someone isn’t Yoruba enough.

  8. Lagosians: Talk to the ✋!

He will be "reinstalled" like an antivirus though. His principal and Lagos louts would rather die than have any other party rule Lagos. The good thing about this Nigeria election 2023 is that APC and PDP mind no go touch ground for 4 years. They will keep looking over their shoulders for fear of being sacked by the courts. As far as I'm concerned, there is no single absolutely honest politician in the entire world but the youths have chosen Elluuupeee just to make a strong statement.

Who noticed that politicians didn't fry akara by the road side, hawk ipekere and walnut on the road or even beat chest on top assurances from godfathers and spiritualists this year? Everybody dey panic, dey beg, dey really "work". Interesting!

Yesterday I was stepping out and bumped into my landlord, we went to his office after gist he gave me Apc souvenirs face caps, handfans etc. When I was about leaving I pretended like I forgot the items he still called me back ‘madam come carry your things’ ha!! Is it by force??

On my way out I made sure I shared it for his staff etc till I was left with just one hand fan.
I’ve never seen his influence in 4 years as much as these few days ha!

    Funny meme.
Campaigning has NEVER been this intense.
It is not only in Lagos state, it cut across the states.
Even the one that is called chukwuma soludo has been barking to its citizens ndi Anambra that they better vote in apga as members state house of assembly or he won't be able to 'work', and deliver dividends of democracy.

  11. If Lagos state is a very poor state, no one will ever call it a no man's land, but because of the Economic prosperity everyone is claiming that no one owns Lagos state.

    1. The Lagosians know themselves. The current caucus that has head and distributed power for the last 20 years are not lagosians. Sanwo is from Ogun state, likewise Jagaban from Osun..
They are the real oppressors. We just want to help lagosians reclaim their birthright by voting Gbadebo.

Secondly, where is the wealth of Lagos State?
When you talk about economic prosperity, please leave out Lagos.
They have nothing. Everything they have is taxes and fees from the teaming population and strategic positioning from Govt.
      They have NO WEALTH.
Wealth is for states like Rivers, Delta and AkwaIbom, where even if they pursue all migrants, they will get richer. Lagos will Get poorer if they pursue migrants.

    2. Please read history.

Lagos State was directly built on federal money. Where does federal money come from in Nigeria?

The much acclaimed IGR of today's Lagos is mainly tax (payee tax, fees and levies). Who pay the taxes, fees and levies. Are they not mainly Lagos residents?

Please tell, who are the tax payers in Lagos State? Only the indigenes of Lagos State?

If you pay the kind of taxes some people pay you will understand the assertion that Lagos is home for all.

Since 1999, how many indigenes of Lagos State have been Governor's of Lagos State? Can you name?

Lagos as home for everyone is rooted in facts, history and economics.

    3. You’re too wise olive. The real lagosians have been brain washed into the current situation. Lagos is called no man’s land because just like the entire south west is now claiming lagos as their own. One day , a neighboring non Yoruba state will also claim it.
When last did a non osun indigene rule osun?. Etc.
the real lagosians don’t seem to have enough political muscle or sense. They’ve used monthly payments and agberoism settle them. In their own state they’re waiting for handouts

  14. The man has a good public persona. Apparently, his goodness in thinking that adults should know the right things to do was exploited by some.

He also underestimated the simmering discontent since 2015 and relied on arrogance of patronage.

Now, he is said to be moving from Estate to Estate, radio/tv network to network, church to church.

Obi has taught them all a lesson.

Hope he learns and stay by the people if he wins.

    Let God will prevail.
