  1. Yesterday, one of my Facebook friends asked a question about the ideal way to dispose placenta after childbirth....
I found 2 of the comments disturbing....
One said, she usually boils hers to eat. (Yuck!).
The other said, she buries hers in her compound, then plants plantain on it. (She didn't specify why. But my guess is, its got something to do with a ridiculous belief).
Nothing wey pesin nor go hear for dis Naija sha...Na wa!!

    1. We have lot of ways to dispose placenta.. All depends on your belief, cultural practices, Religion etc

    2. My goodness! You mean someone would boil a baby's placenta and eat it? This one get as e be oo.

    3. Placenta is life, if is not properly handled that child will die. That is why they will always give it to the husband to take it and buried it either at the burial ground or in a bush where dogs cannot find it. It's not also good for human being to see placenta that has been buried.

The one that eat it I hope she is not into any bloody group? The one that plant on it since is her compound maybe planting on it will not let dog dig it out.

  2. A Divine Parentage!!
    1 John 4:4.

    Excerpts!!

"Being born again means you're God's offspring; you're a divine being. You're not an ordinary person, because you have in you the same life that God has."

"This is how you must think, talk, and live. Be conscious of your divine origin. You hail from God. Your true parentage is divine."

"Let you consciousness of who you are in Christ - the consciousness of your divinity - control everything you say and do. Let it control everything about your life."

    Confession!!

I walk in dominion over the elements of this world and over demons, disease and death, because I'm born of God! The life of Christ is manifested in me, from glory to glory, and I walk in the consciousness of my divine origin, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

  4. CARE FOR THE NEEDY

'Widows were...overlooked in the daily distribution of food.' Acts 6:1 NIV

In New Testament times, the church took on the responsibility of caring for widows and orphans. Unfortunately, bias raised its ugly head and Jewish widows and orphans were given preferential treatment over Gentile widows and orphans. How did the first church leaders respond?

First, they called a meeting to resolve the problem (see Acts 6:2). They let every member know that their church took poverty seriously, and they were each personally responsible before God to do something about it. The Scripture doesn't endorse forced communism, but it clearly teaches Spirit-led volunteerism. Second, they assigned the problem to their brightest and best. They selected seven men - well respected, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom - and gave them this responsibility (see Acts 6:3 NLT).

Instead of grooming our children for 'important' fields like medicine, law, politics or government, let's teach them that caring for the needy is one of God's highest callings. Why does about 10 per cent of the world's population go to bed hungry each night? Or seventeen thousand-plus children die every single day from malnutrition and preventable diseases when we can do something about it? 'The Christian who is pure and without fault, from God the Father's point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows' (James 1:27 TLB). No one can do everything, but God has called each of us to do something!

  15. So it is right for a man to use his wife as next of kin, declare all his assets to her but a woman will use her kids as her next of kin and hide her assets from her husband.

This is because if a man die, his wife can easily locate and access all he has. who even told you people that a man will die 1st . If the woman die 1st after hiding all she has, how will the man locate and access them.

It is a taboo for a man to answer mummy's boy but nice for a woman to answer daddy's girl.

Shaa me no dey advise people in relationship or marriage.

    Una good morning.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Is not a must that a man will put his wife as next of kin, you can put your children as your next of kin if you do not trust your wife. Moat women are afraid of their husbands cos alot of men has done terrible things with women's money when they pass on.

Women are just careful not to see their children suffer when they are no more. Most times when the men are gone the women take care of their children and refuse to remarry but men cannot stay longer from getting married again.

Please let us all stop putting blame on women, whatever works for you please do it. If you want o put your mother, brother, sister as next of kin please do it. If your children have to suffer in future cos of your decision is all good

      Delete
    2. Likewise to me
Marriage is between two personality, if you know how best it will work for you guys follow it, because is two of you know yourselves very much than the third party.
Also when each of you start expressing yourself to someone you will only say where it will favour you.
Please advise yourselves in your marriage and leave third party alone

      Delete
    3. Chike nnam,

Don't you think it doesn't really matter who's next of kin going by your comment? A son or daughter can still die first before the parents. I see nothing wrong a woman using her kids. Are the kids not theirs? I would frown if it's a relation or siblings. But a woman using her kids to me, is not something bad provided she's not hiding any of her assets or worth from her husband.

The only problem I think in all this, is when one party is deceptively lieing to the other about their possessions.

Again, as a woman, if you must reap from a man (husband) you MUST sow in his life and finance as well. You don't come in empty handed in a marriage and foolishly look out for a 50% slash of his belongingt. Sister you're stupid if you reason and think it works that way.

I know anything can happen in marriage but then we only need the grace of God to marry the right person for a spouse.

    4. Lol..

You no see that comment of that man wey dey take care of him fam and treat his wife nice only to discover she's hiding a credit card that's hers.. he asked her couple of times and she denied until he showed proof.. I'm sure she's a BV..:(deny it with your life no matter what) you know their slogan here, with their bad advices..

You see how those ladies were trying to excuse the betrayal, they always want men to forgive women but will never advice a woman to forgive a man.. and the last comment that was trying to twist it to blame the man..

Na people wey no Sabi those gender mentality sha.. me, I know how they think and I'm acting with that accordingly.. they can come here to fool people but not me..

      Blessings soldier πŸ™

    5. Next of kin has always been a problem,it depends on the wife or husband is getting married to.

      Delete
    6. This next of kin thing is treat people the way they treat you. A man should make his wife next of kin vice versa. If there is love and trust in the family, next of kin should not be a problem in a home.

      Delete
    7. I think one of the reasons why a man should use his wife as next of kin is because in this part of our world, the woman is disadvantaged after the demise of her husband.

The family of the late husband stripes her of everything forgetting that his kids needs to be taken care of and trained.

Her being his next of kin puts her in a safe place to a large extent.

      Delete
    8. Dear Excited, I love your closing remark. I love your pointers in engagement. You literally engaged on from all angles. That shows one with wisdom. It’s not about blame game, it’s about the end game. He is yet to realize that the children might suffer based on his decision. It only takes the grace of God for one to have a sibling that isn’t covetous. Some arguments tried very hard to label and generalize the entire female folks as not earning a living. They ‘forgot’ or have convinced themselves with little Lies that all men are still working and taking care of the family. The % of responsible women when it comes to cash is higher than that of men. Just like you pointed out, chances where the widow takes care of the children with what the husband left behind and still be single is higher than that of a widower.

Some white lies we tell ourselves is better left within the confines of our hearts or walls of the home.
