I will continue my #Naijarant after i recover from this horrible whatever it is....#I had to go to the Doctor this Morning cos i did not sleep at night, I have coughed so bad that i cannot even hear my voice when i speak.... I also have fever and headache, and the Doctor says he will start malaria treatment next week if i dont get better....See me see malaria wey don comot for my body since oh.....Mscheeeeeeeew......
Let me drop small rant...
So the Immigration people were forming work on top my head at the Lagos INSIDERNATIONAL Airportcos they saw my old Naija passport, they made it so serious that i began to feel as if i had been arrested for something else...
I decided to start a conversation with one and the minute I mentioned 'Journalist', My red and green passports miraculuosly appeared on top of my laps...LOL
God bless us all and give us Solomons wisdom to deal with the people we meet every day..

I just want to tell you, Air na scam. Avoid it, here’s why.
1. Everyone on the plane minds their business, no drama between park agbero and traveller, no fight on who takes the front seat, nobody is screaming ‘Do you know who ayam!’ Is that what you really want?
2. You know that middle aged man or slightly fat woman in every bus who supplies the gist that ensures no one gets bored? Nothing like that in a plane oh. Nobody is telling you all of her neighbour who tried to snatch her husband. Run oh.
3. This one will shock you. Do you know that there’s no road side gala seller on air, as in, no one is running after you with La casera and roasted yam. All you’ll be seeing is cloud and blue sky. You deserve better.
4. Nothing like overtaking in the air. You know that feeling when you driver speeds past other vehicles and you smile slightly feeling like a boss, nothing like that on air. You’ll not even see other planes sef.
5. Your transport fare is not wasted when you use the road, after spending 15 hours on the road, you know that your money did it’s job. With a flight, you pay big money and 45 mins later, money don otilo. E don go forever.
6. You cannot come down to stretch legs in a plane. You know that joy when the driver parks in a spot for you all to chill and ease yourselves? Nothing like that on air oh. Nobody is shouting ‘Driver, I wan piss! If I do am inside your bus no blame me oh!’
7. You cannot find love on a plane. In a bus, after spending 15 hours with someone, you know all about her live and can even call her parents and plan traditional wedding. On a flight, before you say ‘What’s your name?’ You don reach.
8. Road travel is more spiritual. At least, there’ll be someone at the park to pray at the beginning and there’s always a pastor to preach inside.πΆπΆπΆ

ReplyDeleteMy child's school knew better not to tell them to wear a particular colour of top or dress like some other schools that I saw this morning. My neighbor said her child's school asked them to wear yellow, she said her kids do not have yellow clothes and she can't afford to buy at the moment. So her kids stayed at home today.
All these private schools with their plenty wahala. I wish I was in Lagos where they have good public schools, na to carry her go register in the closest one to our home.
Honestly, as a teacher I do pity parents in my school.
DeleteMy school sold customized tops for the celebration. Some parents have three kids here, imagine buying new clothes for three kids for a school function. Parents are really trying, most of them do not want their kids to be left out of the fun, they want them to participate and feel good so they go all the way to buy these things.
